Impressed by him today. Pity the hazard signing over shadowed Marin's. I think this could well 8mill well spent.

He won't offer us genuine width unless we play him on the left wing where he'll find it much harder to be a typical modern winger. Someone had better school this cut inside shoot mentality out of them.

He was good in the first per-season game, and I think most people here are not surprised since most here where saying that Marin could shine big due to his low profile move and got so much to prove.

He has the right attitude....but if he is not going to pass much, then he might as well become a bit frustrating down the road like a certain Malouda.

i`d like to see a right footed winger to play on the right and left on left but that debate has probably got enough in it for a thread of it`s own i guess.

True, i was very pleased with his performance, but with mata and hazard occupying the left and middle which ever way round they want, Marin might have to play on the right, which wouldn't be a bad thing, as he always cut inside, whereas being on the right would definately encourage him to cross a bit more, Hazard can use any foot which makes it even better if he is on a wing as he can go both ways and be just as good.
