zolayes 14,489
I like his final line about failing to prepare ..but would also remember Jose and omelettes.I have a food one as well .that favourite English afternoon tea ,,,,not enjoyable if the food is stale . sandwiches curled at the edges with bread that was left out too long.milk that has soured,, cake that is dry ......(recognise any of this in our team??)the greatest chef cannot produce a meal if the vital ingredients are missing Bouef Wellington without the Beef ,,,Salmon en croute without the pastry Crepe Suzette without any Grand Marniere.. (recognise any missing ingredients in our team ....we have been talking about them for months) BON APPETIT

Fulham Broadway 17,351
"I would not turn it into an obsession, like you people are trying to do, the most important thing is to win. It doesn't matter who scores; these are pre-season games and it is important to get a feel of your team. I will never turn it into my obsession. My obsession is to win trophies with this team. I don't want to talk about individual strikers. I prefer to talk about a 'forward sector'. People need to have confidence to find the back of the net and confidence comes from tolerance, which is what we don't have at the moment. Every time I go into a press conference we are talking about a player who hasn't scored."AVB Top man -knows what hes talking about

Fulham Broadway 17,351
He is talking about radical changes... We will go into the market for sure but only for about 3 players max...Exactly- these arent pretend bids for Modric etc (who i think we should drop now). The only danger I can see with the ageing squad and what I've picked up during the friendlies it's not a proactive hunt for the back of the net, more a responding to whats going on. warnie_666 1,081
That means he's been told we don't have any funds. Not really. Club has given him full authority to buy players. We don't need radical changes. We just need 3 players who are creative
LDN Blue 7,903
Graeme 'Bitter Scouse Cunt' Souness: Villas-Boas will struggleChelsea are a concern for me, the new manager and his new [backroom] team are relatively inexperienced. I worry for Chelsea. I just didn't see any sense in getting rid of the previous manager. I thought Ancelotti was a good manager, tried and tested at the highest level. The guy they have got in now is untried. Being successful in Portugal, where I worked for two years, with Porto, isn’t the biggest of deals. The way they have got it set up there, from the president down, they are more or less guaranteed success every year there. The guy never played the game, I don't think he's been around top players all his life and he's not got that experience behind him. I know a lot of people will think 'so what' but you've got to be in and around an environment like that to understand what goes on.Nothing prepares you for management at the highest level. The reason I think Chelsea will have difficulty this year is because he's going to take a year to find out exactly what it's all about in England. When you look at what they had last year with Ancelotti, he has been around the block many times and won everything as a player and manager. I thought he was a perfect fit for them. The guy they have got in now is untried. Being successful in Portugal, where I worked for two years, with Porto, isn’t the biggest of deals. The way they have got it set up there, from the president down, they are more or less guaranteed success every year there.Just, LOL.

OReillyD36 311
Usually I agree with souness, he makes great points and is never bias towards clubs like other ex Liverpool players like that absolute cunt John Aldridge. But don't agree with him on this :/
