Fulham Broadway 17,351
Quotes from a family in Ipswich that André Villas-Boas visited with Bobby Robson and a picture of him when he was 16 years old: Couple had Sir Bobby, Jose and Andre in their living roomLol at the comment from Deep Throat. It does sound like the start of a sordid sex confession in a tabloid

TomCFC 357
Very impressive press conference, with him coming across as articulate, shrewd and intelligent. He controlled the room by remembers all the journalists' names and questions, addressing them by first names. He said "we" even when referring to Chelsea's past and is saying all the right things. Carlo used to focus on Torres' "bad moment", but AVB said it's a team effort and mentioned Falcao as an example of improvement. His attacking and inclusive mentality will be interesting to see. Quite telling how he let slip ''Porto is a strong brand..er club.. '' shame that clubs have become brands now, but its a financial consideration first and foremost. chrismada9 1,948
I'm really pleased that Di Matteo is assistant manager! He has managerial experience, and he knows the club so well, so this is a VERY good move!

Slam Dunk 1,442
Has AVB said anything about new signings? He'll be looking at the current squad first when they return from holiday and start pre-season on the 6th. He said he will look into the market afterwards and therefore wont be speculating on players that are not currently playing for Chelsea (he was asked about Modric and mentioned Falcao/Coentrao.) Milan 17,963
Thanks for all the links connecting us to the video of the conference. I couldn't watch it as I was at work but having already watched it, I have to say - he fucking knows what he's talking about and that's something. Brilliant. Having here Roberto back again, even more brilliant. So far so good.
