perfect example of something i say getting twisted.

I'm only joking Tomo, but anyway we are not looking at Anelka as a messiah, but he would of been helpful, he used to come off the bench and make an impact, he even did it against MAN U!, Anelka usually bottles big games lol... i think he would of been useful.

It would be fair to say that our current manager has 'lost the plot' recently, even the staunch supporters of AVB would have to admit that things have been very disappointing in terms of results & performances - he has to take the lions share of the blame, which to his credit he did for the pathetic showing against Everton but this awful run stretches back 2 months atleast......

The one thing that has me scratching my head with disbelief is his continued selection of Bosingwa, I just cannot for the life of me understand why he is still picking him after all the mistakes he makes defensively??? Saturday's game was a prime example of why some fans are losing patience with AVB, he has an England international CB to select & a versatile defender in Ivanovich who can defend far more adequately than fucking Bosingwa - the outcome, Boshitwa is at fault for the first goal against a side you do not want to go behind against, as they just play to draw & hit sides on the counter so he lost us that game, no question. AVB impressed me at the start of the season & I was 100% sure we were heading in the right direction but he seems to of lost the bottle to stick to his principles & make tough decisions.

I do agree though that most of the players are doing him no favours, some of them really need to look themselves in the mirror as their performances have not been good enough for weeks, only Mata & Ramires have shown they deserve the shirt all season & that tells us that AVB has a tough job on his hands, however he has to provide the motivation to get some of our over paid lazy arse superstars playing again. Also in AVB's defence he did try to sign Modric & Perriera so things could of been different if he had managed to get them in.

I have been playing devils advocate with AVB's future with my own Chelsea community were most didn't want him in the first place but are even more against his appointment now, I am finding it difficult to keep defending him when he makes mind numbing decisions in selecting players of the calibre of Boshitwa amongst other managerial decisions, I sit in the 'he needs time' minority at present, I hope he can turn things around by the end of the season & then kick on from there with the revolution, however if he continues to make baffling, bizarre decisions then I will have to amend my opinion.......tick......tick!!!!!

According to the stats even Scolari was better than AVB.

Scolari is waaaaay better than this AVB.

Scolari cv before Chelsea was really good, but he wasnt the right man for Chelsea.

AVB is a joke. Only a small club will give this clown another season.

Because he is from Brazil?

Scolari took over a monster of a team while AVB has a team full of egomanics who are past it

No, Idiot. Scolari won a WC with a brazilian team that was a mess before he took over (few managers in the world woul have the balls to believe in Ronaldo for that WC),

Portugal was nothing before he took over, and he make them a really strong team, despite the flop in 2004 euro final. He also won Libertadores 2 times, its more dificult to win it than Europa League.

Suggesting AVB is better than Scolari os not a wise thing, Idiot.

THAT'S Brazilian!

And you should grow up and learn more about football, before coming with this kind of insult, as a german you should know that some british views on germans are not that friendly, so its not a very good thing using your stereotypes.

What If someone use a nazi symbol and say "thats german!!!". So take it easy.

And you should stop arguing about everythin what is not from brazil and start to think about your own behaviour. After that you can judge my comments and try to lecture me.

One thing is for sure though, had AVB been the manager in 2008 like Scolari, he would have been sacked by now. Season is still not over, but if he manages to avoid the boot in next few months, then it is pretty safe to say he's here for at least the 3 year project.

Jeez man,why are we comparing AVB's and Scolari's achievements.AVB has good club achievements and Scolari was good with International teams.AVB's achievements at Porto are not ordinary, its not easy to stay unbeaten in the league, win the domestic cup and the European cup all in one season.Yes the league is more easier than EPL but that doesn't mean its not competitive.AVB is not a bad manager and IMO is a better manager than Scolari.
