Took me fucking 2 hours to get back from the game in what should have been a 45 minute journey because of traffic. Oh well, good performance and great result. I thought Alex was amazing, think he should be JT's partner from now on. But i am so pleased for JT! The crowd got behind him as usual and i was in the corner he came running up to when he scored. Was brilliant. Love the man so much. JT, there is only one England captain. Overall the team performance was good i thought, coped very well with Delap's long throws, especailly Alex. Patient build up play, didn't try to force the issue with Stoke getting men behind the ball. I thought Paulo was playe well at left-back. Kalou as usual was Kalouless. Drogba and Anelka never stopped trying. the rest did well. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be. Were going to Wembley. Que sera, sera.

I think the people who are having a pop at Hilario are being quite harsh. for a start, he is only a number 2 so obviously isn't going to be as good as your number 1. Also he has been very reliable in the past, his debut was against Barcelona and he kept a clean sheet. I remember when Cudicini got injured against Fenerbache and he came on and made a couple of brillaint saves to keep us in it, then there is the game against Liverpool this year as well. So he had a bad game against City, who didn't? I think he is a reliable goalkeeper and although obviouslt losing Cech is going to be a massive blow i am 100% behind him.

I have been very impressed with Jack Cork on his loan spell. I really think he could be a star in the future. Someone the fans can relate to like JT. I hope Carlo gives him a chance next season.

It has to be between him and Didier. I would have said Anelka and A.Cole would be in contention but i think Nico has tailed off a bot since Drogba returned from Africa and now Ash has got injured i think its a two way bout between Ivan and Didier.

Disappointing for Bos (especially as he misses the World Cup) but Ivan is having the season of his life this year so don't think it will be that much of a problem for us.

Supporting England aint what it used to be. Everyone just supports their clubs players now. If Lampard or another Chelsea players missed an easy chance with 5 minutes to go to win us the game, most Chelsea fans would be like "Ooo, unlucky Frank" If it was Rooney or anyone else they would kill him. I think its wrong. England is England and in my opinion club loyalties should be left at home when England play. No matter how much you hate some of the players who play for rival clubs.

Holy shit!! Feel sorry for that guy! David Busst is by far the worst i have ever seen though. Schmeichal had to be sick on the side of the pitch it was that bad. Another really bad one was Jimmy Bullard's. Kept him out for 18 months if i remember right.

Don't think Joe will make it to the World Cup. He hasn't performed anywhere near as well as he can do. Also the fact Capello hasn't picked him for the game against Egypt i think means he isn't in his thoughts.

I don't see it as much of a problem really. Lamps and Dider are our best players therefore contribute the most. But saying they do everything for the team i think does the others a dis-service. You look at United, they have Shrek with 20 whatever goals and their next scorer is own goal with 10. We have Didier with 25, Lamps 15, Anelka 13 and even Malouda has 8 goals this year. The only problem with their ages is that they will not be able to continue this in 5 years time. At 31 or 32 you still have a good 5 years left of your career so i don't think there is much of a problem yet. We have time to blood our youngsters in so they will be primed and ready to go once Lampard and co decide to call it a day.

What are the point of these friendlies? If its just before a couple of qualifiers then i can understand but in the middle of the most important time of the season. Hopefully our boys come back safe.

For me i think Ivan has made the right back position his own. He has had the chance with Bosingwa's injury and has taken it in my opinion. I agree that Alex is a fantastic defender he proved that last season when he played in Carvalho and Terry's absence. I can't see Terry being dropped and he won;t be sold in a million years. The only way he will play is if Carvalho is dropped. I have read people saying they think Riccy should be sold but I think Carvalho is a good enough defender to be in the squad at least. But at the end of the day (as the footballers say) Alex should never be sold, he is a fantastic defender and maybe one day, even next year should be part of our number 1 centre back pairing.

I think that picture must have been taken a split second after his leg buckled. And to Layla... You said you didn't realise it took 6 months to come back from that injury, Six moths is an unrealistic target in my opinion, i don't know where you saw that. You think back to all those type of injury's that have happened befroe, Eduardo, Cisse, Larsson. It take about 12 months to come back from that.

Yeah, i agree... with the first part. Obviously the poverty etc all over the world is of far more importance but i'm not saying you have to cry over this, in fact i'm not saying you have to feel sympathy for him. But saying what you said, in my opinion, is very harsh and well over the top.

When are the new kits expected to be shown for the first time? I've liked the adidas kits, especially last years home one. And i really like this years 3rd kit, the white one. My personal favourite has to be the 01-03 home kit though, i loved that kit.
