Premier League plans play-off for last Champions League place
boshman replied to Rubber bullets's topic in Football Chat
It's a bit unfair on the team that finishes fourth. But having said that, it works in the Championship and so on. -
No chance, Manure have no money!

Sell: Deco: - Has only played well in a handfull of games for us. I have willed him to play well for us and thought it would have been a great signing when he arrived but it hasn't really worked out. Ferreira: Never really taken to him, usefull player but will never get in the team ahead of Ivanovic and/or Bosingwa. Kalou: Don't want to even get started on this boy, Kalouless says it all i think. Belletti: Usefull squad player but i think it would give room for the younger players to get more of a chance. Buy: Don't think we need to bring in anyone really. If anything i would like to see a really good playmaker to play in the hole behind the striker. My suggestion would be Wesley Sneijder or even Arjen Robben. Also on the Malouda issue. I think he has been brilliant this season, By far his best season at Chelsea. Has been rejuvenated ever since Hiddink took over. Really impressive this year.

Every time i see the penalty's i still get nervous because i know what is coming. I watched them a few weeks ago and imagined what would have happened if Terry's pen went in. What my reaction would have been, what his and our players reaction would be. How it would look with JT lifting the trophy. I shouldn't have done. I'm not ashamed to say it made me cry. lol! Will not watch it again for a very long time. I just keep telling myself that the more hurt we get in this competition, the better it will feel when we do finally win it. I just hope we do it in the JT, Lampard era because they deserve it.

''UFO'' spotted over Stamford Bridge in 1999

HAHA!! IMMENSE!! -
Would be a half decent sigining. He's strong, committed, Good header of the ball. A similar mould to JT. The only thing is i can't see him getting in ahead of JT, Carvalho and Alex. Would be a bad career move for him in my opinion.

You mean Birmingham. Lol!

Should be comfortable win. But with our dodgy away from and everyone dropping points this year there is no gurantee. Still think we will pull through though. Hopefully Everton do us a favour earlier on against Manure.

He has that Chelsea knowledge and Premiership no-how like Clarke which obviously helps the new foreign managers. He has been a great addition and added a bit of continuity in the recent times of change.
-
Congrats Guus. Hope he does well.

Why do we change our kit every season now? It used to be every other season for the home kit.

Really impressed with Sturridge this season. When he has started he has scored goals, ok against championship opposition but he can still put the ball in the back of the net. He brings more to the table though. His strength and his speed are a fantastic combination to have. I think he should be given a long run in the first team to prove his worth. Don't think that will happen this year as we are getting into the "nitty gritty" but definately next year. Great signing and looking forward to seeing him become a top striker here at Chelsea.

Blueray.. Your eyes were not decieving you, you did see a beachball. I saw it too. Not sure why. Loving the infaltable sheep. Whoever brought them along, class idea. Ha. In terms of the game. Poor first half. Apart form the goal i can't really remember us creating anyhting. J. Cole had a shocker was not surprised when he came off at half-time. But when it was Kalou that came on i thought we might have well left on Cole. It turned out Kalou had a very good half. Brilliant header for his goal and overall good performance from him. Much improved in the second half. Good goal from Bally and happy for Sturridge to get a goal. Dissapointed that Borini only got 2 minutes. Might as well not have brought him on at all. Whats he going to gain from 2 minutes and not touching the ball? Overall good performance though. Wembley here we come!!

I didn't know until they announced it just before the game today. Was well shocked. I wasn't around in his time but have heard about him and that he was quite a personality. RIP Petar Borota.

hopefully this finally dies down. But if the scummy journo's at The Sun have anything to do with it.... I doubt it! But good for JT. Happy for him.

Before the Everton game we were in brilliant form. We we're going to walk the league. We have one bad game and all of a sudden we are in freefall and United are going to storm past us and take the league. What is going on with some people? This is our first loss since early December. Like some people on here have said, the fact they have got none of the top 3 to lose in the remaining 12 games is a joke in itself. Predictions are irrelevant. What counts are results. Now come on people. Have some faith. Get behind the team. We have a fantastic chance.

If you want to have laugh at Arsenal's fans...

HAHAHA!!! That might be the funniest thing i have ever seen! -
HaHa! Thats a very good way of looking at it!

Don't bother moving Ivanovic over! He has been immense this season at right back. Keep him right where he is, even when Bosingwa is fully fit. He has had his chance in the first team and taken it. No1 Right Back for Chelsea now is Ivanovic in my opinion. We have a ready made replacement for Ash and thats Zhirkov. If anything happens to him then we can play Paulo or Bosingwa. Its a big blow to lose Ashley obviously but we'll be ok.

SHIT!!! Come on Yuri, time to shine my friend!

What do we need to be invincible again?
boshman replied to kakuta44's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
They don't "get it done" as much as we do otherwise they would be top of the league. We had an off day. You can't be brilliant every game. Like i said in an earlier post, every team in the Premier League is capable of taking points of everyone.... especially away from home. Losing away to Everton is no disgrace. Everton are a very good side and on their day can match anyone in he league. We're top of the league. United are dropping as many points as everyone else, thats the nature of this season. Keep the faith. I'm confident, you should be too! -
Support Cardiff if its your local team. I'm a big believer of supporting you local team so think you should be a Cardiff fan for that one.

The premier league is so strong that anyone can take points off anyone else. Simple as that. No game is a given now. Espeically away from home. I don't think you'll ever get an unbeaten season again or a season like 04-05 where we lost just 1 game. The league is to strong for that now. We have only lost 4 games this year though, were still top of the league, our home form is exceptional and its not just us who are dropping points. Manure and Arsecum are too. Come on peeps, keep the faith. -
Jose will get his little dog on them.
