By far? I'm not to sure about that. Yes he is by far more technically gifted than Lampard. Now giving what Lampard has acheived here, this is one of the reasons (along with all the ones i have already posted... and more) that i rate him higher than Zola. Not as technically gifted but still go's on to get more goals, assists etc.

In my opinion he might even be the best player in the clubs history. Yes, above Zola, Osgood and the rest. To score 151 goals from midfield and get 20 + goals in each of his last 6 seasons is quite remarkable. It isn't just goals. I don't know how many assists this guy has but it must be there or thereabouts as some kind of club record. And what makes it for me is the amount of time he has socred important goals. Arsenal in the champions league Two goals v Bolton to win the championship The goal against Everton the week before the second championship 2 v Spurs in the cup quater final V Liverpool in the Champions league Semi V United in the final His performance and goal against Stoke Winning goal against Everton last year in the cup final And i am not even thinking when i put them down. I'm sure if i thought about it i could find many more games when Frank has taken us by the scruff of the neck and won us the game. Lampard will go down as one of the biggest legends in Chelsea history. And in my opinion is the best player ever to pull on the famous royal blue!

I know, i didn't even bother to look at getting tickets because i only have 41 points. But today my mate rang me who has only been to 2 or 3 games this year said he had tickets because it had only gone down to five. I couldn't beleive it. I went straight on the Chelsea website and got myself one. Not sure if this happened last year though.

I just got a ticket over the internet. 30 quid which is cheap but it didnt have any block or seat number on the conformation page or e-mail. Is that bad or do you just not find out till you get your ticket?

Great result! Not a brilliant first half. We had most of the ball but didn;t really do much with it. Much improved second half though. Moved the ball quicker and always kept going forward to get that extra goal. Something we haven't been doing recently. Very please for Van Aanholt as well. Move on to Villa with a bit of confidence now after a very good performance.

Our last 4 games against Arsenal we have beaten them. 2-1, 4-1, 3-0, 2-0. That's 11 goals scored and 2 goals conceded. They may play the better football but they don't use it properly do they.

Its not ALL over becuase we beat Pompey and we are only a point behind. But... having said that if we continue to perform the way we do we will not win at Old Trafford, White Hart Lane or Anfield. Today's performance in the second half was abysmal so a dramatic improvement is needed to stand a chance of winning the league. This is where the players and manager earn their money!
