  1. Sevilla better not fuck this up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Was out of town for almost a week and couldn't watch the match, but boy what a great result. Once again Chelsea was the one to fuck Spurs over. This is what we, the fans, wanted and I'm so proud that the players understood and showed so much passion, even if it was late in the season. But for a greater cause :). Arsenal & Spurs failing miserably makes this season a bit more digestible I guess. Now the last thing I would love to see this season is City missing on top 4 with Guardiola taking over an aging squad playing Europa League. God that would be wonderful.
  3. Trust them to get the job done at Anfield. Liverpool have to open up and Villarreal will get their chances. Denis Suarez, Jonathan, Samu, Soldado, Bakambu, they are tailor made for counter attacking football.
  4. Jorge Sampaoli: "The offer which I was closest to accepting was from Chelsea. I even met with the owner, but it didn't work out.“ He said the same thing in an interview for a radio in Argentina more than a month ago. I listened to the entire interview back then (video available from the studio as well) and he looked disappointed talking about the opportunity of joining Chelsea. Said that he was Abramovich's 1st choice and felt that nothing can change as long as he is backed by the owner, but the people surrounding Abramovich did not want him and tried to do everything to get into Roman's head. Came up with all sorts of reasons (one was that Sampaoli does not speak a word in English) and in the end they managed to make Roman choose Conte instead of Sampaoli.
  5. It's about last year guys. Bild say Chelsea made that 60m bid one year ago, not now and this summer the club is likely to make a fresh bid.
  6. Enjoyed that. A pumped up Eden Hazard and Fabregas with two Vidal-esque midfielders around him and I have no doubts we'll challenging for the title next season.
  7. Bonucci was a decent player before Conte arrived. Now he is definitely the best ball playing defender in Europe. Maybe not a rock like Barzagli who's an all round defender, but a modern one, comfortable with the ball at his feet that can thrive under pressure and build from the back with ease. Stones is similar and needs a proper manager to take him to next level. Martinez is an absolute joke when it comes to the defensive part of the game. If Stones is available for 25m + bonuses I'd take him. If Everton still keep hold on to that 50m price then what can I say? Fuck them.
  8. I was about to say the same thing. Chelsea was the one to knock them out of Champions League in 2012, Chelsea will be the one to put the last dagger through their hearts and end their title hopes. Can't give a shit about a loss against Leicester, the Spurs scum must not win the title. Basically this was the only reason why I still kept interest in this EPL campaign, to watch how Arsenal & Spurs fail miserably in their title quest. And one of United/Arsenal/City missing on Champions League football is a bonus
  9. Liverpool beat this lot with a 2nd string team. We can't go three in a row w/o scoring, can we?!
  10. Hahah now closer to PSG after talking a lot of trash about French league and that dig at Guardiola in which he said that "some choose clubs in certain countries where even the kit man could win the league as a coach". Haha If this is not another PR stunt by Jorge Mendes to speed up the negociations with Man United and he indeed ends up in Paris instead of United, then it'll be because United did not want him and not the other way around. If someone else thinks he's rejected United for Paris than he is as deluded as Mourinho.
  11. The FA and the broadcasters had to make sure this goes down to the very last round. Fucking twats. If Wes Morgan was a pen, what about Ogbonna on Huth? Fuck off you bastards
  12. Took the survey and I'll post it here, too. OUT: Begovic (still with some market value and Chelsea could get good money), Cahill, Ivanovic, Terry, Baba Rahman, Mikel, Matic, Oscar, Pedro, Remy, Moses, Djilobodji + Pato & Falcao. Courtois - world class, but seems fed up with this club unfortunately. If a mega money offer comes in maybe Chelsea should look into it. But not some bollocks 25m offer. At least 45-50m. If not, keep him. Azpilicueta - decent bloke, but an average defender at best. I feel Mourinho's bunker tactics made him look good all this time and this is just my personal view on him. Defensively he's ok, but suspect going forward and the modern full back needs to do more than a couple of tackles now and then. Phil Bardsley would look as good as Azpilicueta under Mourinho's tactics if he's made to stick to defending only and never cross the midfield line. Still, I voted keep him as he's the only decent player in that trainwreck of a back line. Keep the others and let the youth develop properly. Next season will be about domestic competitions only, with matches every 7 days and no away trips to Europe. Plenty of time in between matches for senior players to recover and this is why I can't see Conte rotating too much. Unfortunately this is not good for the young players. Loftus-Cheek will probably stick with the first team, maybe another one or two youngesters, too. Rest of them should go out on loan and Chelsea must manage those deals properly. Ake and Cuadrado back in the squad. Charly Musonda, Boga, Pasalic, Izzy Brown, Lew Baker, Solanke - top of Chelsea's priorities in finding the best loan deals. Christensen - great if Conte would bring him into the first team. If not he should stay at Gladbach. No reason to waste him on the bench here. I know this is Football Manager type of transfer market in terms of departures/arrivals, but enough is enough. If this season is not the perfect example of bad management, then I don't know how a season like that could look. Now is the time to get rid of all the deadwood and start fresh.
  13. This is the worst defensive display I've witnessed as a Chelsea fan. Cahill and Ivanovic are past it and must leave. No ifs, ands, or buts. The board must back Antonio Conte in rebuilding that back line. Also sell another good chunk of so called first teamers and make extra funds available. Oscar, Remy, Baba Rahman, Mikel, Matic, Pedro, who cares, a new era under Conte kicks off and clearly nobody is going to miss them. Send them all home tomorrow and play the youth in the reminding matches. Loftus-Cheek, Miazga, Clarke-Salter, Kenedy, Bertrand Traore plus the ones that have made it into the Youth League final - Abraham, Colkett, Palmer et al. Up the Chels! We'll come back stronger! (that's if the board back Antonio Conte and does not settle for stop-gap options. If not, we'll see the usual suspects again come August).
  14. Diego Costa Willian Loftus-Cheek Pedro Mikel Cesc Baba Cahill Ivanovic Cesar Thibo Oscar on the bench/in the stands. Or even feck him to some beach in Brazil until a new team comes in asking for him.
  15. But didn't Chelsea sign a new contract until 2023? Can these type of contracts be broken that easy?
  16. Tomori is rock solid and so comfortable with the ball at his feet.
  17. My bet is that Liverpool won't score in Spain. Remains to be seen what happens at Anfield, but if Villarreal score there it's going to take an awful lot of work for Liverpool to unlock that defence.
