  1. I also think that should Chelsea go head to head with City for his signature he'd choose Conte over Guardiola. Would let Matic and Cuadrado go if it means Juve are at least willing to negociate a deal for Bonucci.
  2. In his third season at Real Madrid he became so obsessed that he instructed his assistants to buy ALL the newspapers everyday and read everything Mourinho related. Every assistant had to make a summary of what he had read and hand it to Mourinho. He's shown yesterday with that list of 49 players he's supposed to have promoted that he is still obsessed with what media writes about him. That was cringe, absolute comedy of a topic that Mourinho himself opened yesterday at the presser.
  3. Fans, former colleagues, who cares? He is a man with two faces, he's been what, two days at Carrington and figured out that's the most professional environment he's worked in? Yeah, right. He's probably figured that out the same way he's figured out there's a "special bond" between him and the fans at Old Trafford lol. He's so desperate to lick United's ass because he knows this is his last chance to prove he is "special". Another sack and he's off the big club's radar.
  4. Agree with illmatic, he'll thrive under Paco Jemez and his tactics. I'd send more players there and even pay Granada a few more bucks as a bonus just to be having them on the pitch on a regular basis. Paco Jemez means business, would be the perfect mentor for Chelsea's young midfielders and forwards.
  5. "People love the club. I was previously in other club, lucky enough to be in big clubs, but I didn’t feel that passion. At United I felt immediately a huge passion." This settles for me. He's talked trash about Chelsea before, back at Inter Milano, now he's at it again. What a disgusting human being, I'm sure he did not feel the passion up until the last day here when everybody was still chanting his name although Chelsea was going down faster than the Titanic. Minutes into his presser at Carrington and he takes a dig at Wenger. Obsessed, sick human being. Glad he's not Chelsea's problem anymore, cannot wait for when he'll start to be losing it once again. Wonder when he felt that "huge passion" from United fans towards him. Maybe it was everytime he faced United and their fans chanted "Fuck off Mourinho". Cowardly, spineless and arrogant wanker. Fucking hate his guts. Sick bastard, mad in his head, driven by this obsession of showing the world he is the best. He is back to seek revenge against Chelsea and prove himself against the likes of Guardiola and Wenger, things that will destroy him in the end. His introduction to European football back in the early 2000s has been spectacular, but boy, his fall is going to be a total spectacle. Cannot wait.
  6. Chelsea will probably wait for him to score a 20 yard chilena in the Final before approaching Roma again, just to be blown away by Roma's new asking price -60m
  7. Mircea Rednic (Romanian coach) managed Standard Liege for a year (2012/2013), when Batshuayi played there. He was live today in the morning show for the main sports channel here in Romania. He confirmed that Batshuayi has signed for Chelsea, said that Batshuayi called him yesterday and gave him the news.
  8. I know mate, just saying you know.. But let me tell you this -I'm 80-90% sure Conte will have Oscar in his starting line-up. Don't ask me why, I just have this weird feeling. For me it's looking quite obvious that Conte will use a midfield three at Chelsea, no matter it's 3-5-2, 3-5-1-1, 4-3-3 etc. At first I was pretty sure he'll go for 4-4-2/4-2-4, but now I have my doubts. Mostly because of Cesc. I think it would be suicidal to go into next season with a midfield two consisting of Cesc and other midfielder. Even if the other midfielder is a box to box monster that can run all day. I simply cannot see Cesc working in a midfield two formation. Now back to my point -Conte had a pretty decent midfielder in his provisional squad, Jorginho, but opted to send him back home at the expense of Giaccherini. I know they are not the same type of player, but I bet that 9 out of 10 managers would have Jorginho over Giaccherini any given day. Thing is Conte likes his midfield three to be composed of one regista (De Rossi) that sits deep and two other midfielders with a good engine that can make forward runs, work the channels and go into the box everytime his team goes forward (Giaccherini, Parolo, Florenzi). Oscar is similar to Giaccherini in my view. Energetic midfielder that can run like a rabid dog and cover every blade of the pitch. Plus he goes forward, shoots from outside the box, goes into the box. Really think he is the type of midfielder that Conte prefers.
  9. If indeed it is true that Shanghai in China have bid £38m for Watford's Ighalo, then I don't know what the hell are we waiting for anymore -Chelsea use your connections and flog this donkey off to that part of the world. If fucking Odion Ighalo is valued at £38m in the Chinese market, I'd imagine we'd be able to milk them for at least £60m.
  10. There goes my hope of seeing him at LB next season... Frustrating. Baba Rahman a better player? Meh, not for me. Hope Chelsea don't screw this up like they did with Ryan Bertrand.
  11. It's all English media bullshit to be fair. I have seen nothing in the Spanish press to suggest this. Indeed they (Spanish media) say that Diego Costa would not say "no" to a move back to Madrid, but only if Atletico de Madrid and Chelsea agree to the transfer. He will not ask for a move, nor force it. But today is Spain they have announced that Atletico have given up on their primary targets Gonzalo Higuain and Diego Costa because they are out of their reach, impossible to sign and have now made bids for Carlos Bacca and Mauro Icardi. Napoli want the full release clause in Gonzalo Higuain's contract (or something in the region of it) and Chelsea have made Diego Costa one of their untouchables and would demand a huge fee for him that Atletico de Madrid can't even think about getting close to it, nevermind match it.
  12. Top prospect coming off a superb season considering how dreadful Marseille were. But, no matter what, Diego Costa MUST stay at the team. Would be such a stupid mistake to sell our most experienced striker entering his 3rd season in England.
  13. Some bitter twats say it's all down to Buffon, Bonucci, Barzagli & Chiellini, but they seem to forget that Italy(Juventus)'s defence has Conte's signature all over it....
  14. Baffles me how Chelsea keeps getting linked to all them average midfielders like Giaccherini, Andre Gomes and Witsel, while Aranguiz is back to his best and up for grabbing. Superb Copa America dispplay, absolute monster of a box to box midfielder. If not for that long time out with an injury last season, he'd be worth at least 50m now. A midfield of Aranguiz, Fabregas and Nainggolan would have been tremendous.
  15. God mode lol. Looked like he was on a motorbike for the whole match. Welcome back Eden
  16. Makes Jordan Henderson look like Xavi Hernandez.
  17. Real Madrid will not let him leave for less than €75m according to todays news in Spain. That's £58m. A good player? Yes. Worth that much? No way if you ask me. Madness if any club gets near that amount. He's probably a £30m player at max.
  18. Imagine the first match at the Bridge against West Ham with Giaccherini and Oscar as midfielders
  19. Shows flashes, yes, but a 40m player should be close to a finished article, a player ready to make instant impact, rather than wait for him to develop for years. Andre Gomes gets a lot of hype because of Jorge Mendes' influence, too. And his close relationship with Valencia CF. He is the super agent and has a lot of journalists on his payroll. The breaking news that Sky Sports ran this morning, they did not hear it from Valencia, the information was leaked to them by some journalist, instructed by Jorge Mendes. He knows that by using Chelsea's name, his player's value will escalate quickly and he is using this tricks to inflate prices.
  20. Mate I am half Romanian half Chilean, speak Spanish fluently and I follow La Liga and all the TV shows in Spain through sattelite TV. No one in Spain holds Andre Gomes in such high regard as you do, stop making things up. Half the world, lol..... He's getting the same type of hype Dani Parejo used to get years back. One fabulous match and he was the next Xavi Hernandez and then 5 matches in a row when he was pure crap. Andre Gomes did nothing so far to be valued at over 40m. He's a 20m player at most. I find it hard to believe this news because he's not even a Conte type of midfielder, he's something of an attacking midfielder that likes to dribble like mad and looks like a donkey when things don't go his way because he is tall, does not have a low centre of gravity and of course can't dribble 4 players at a time.... Edit - and because he is owned by Jorge Mendes and apparently wanted by Mourinho, that doesn't make him a must buy lol.
  21. Sometimes I feel you're just a troll trying to wind up things in here. All the bang average players are "great" to you and vice versa. There's German and Italian lads in here following Rudiger's progrees both in Bundesliga and Serie A, saying he's dog shite, but you still playing the same broken record trying to make him look like the 2nd coming of Beckenbauer. And now Andre Gomes, supposedly "great" lol........
  22. Lol this is Portugal's #15 tall midfielder from last nights match. Worth 32m, yeah right.....
