Talented yes, but his off the pitch attitude overshadows his abilities. Guy is a complete nutter. Pick a random nightclub in Madrid at any given day and you might bump into him.
-
Overrated as fuck because of that World Cup & the Real Madrid transfer. Spent more time in Madrid nightclubs than on the pitch since he's been at Real.

I can understand why Conte would want him here. You can not rebuild a squad without the help of a Directer of football you can trust. This position is somehow underrated in football, but it surely helps certain managers to know they have trusted people to negociate with players they want to sign/sell & the relation with the owner. Walter Sabatini is definitely one of the best in business and the thing is Italian newspapers already tip ex Roma player Federico Balzaretti to succeed Sabatini.

Well, Chelsea seems bound to miss Champions League football next season, so I find it hard that the likes of Higuain, Benzema or any other top striker could be persuaded into coming here. My choice would be Cavani, though. Read this morning that Paris have decided to let him go this summer should anyone meet their evaluation - £31m. Fair price if you ask me. Hard working and a superb player in his day. Still a predator, shame he had a superstar like Ibrahimovic as his competitor for the centre forward spot. I know he is 29 already, but who cares. Luis Suarez is 29, too.

Can only speculate on Conte's tactics, but I really hope he goes for 4-4-2 with two pure centre forwards. No Oscar and no "number 10" bullshit, just the two centre midfielders, two wide midfielders and two strikers. Leicester thrive under this system and it seems that it is the perfect match for EPL these days. You can also cover an awful lot of space on the pitch by using it.

Fairytale goes on <3

What about Gabriel's horror tackle?! Diego's punishment is somehow covered by the rules, but us fans can't turn against him now. He is a passionate footballer and it was clearly out of frustration. He is a changed man and this incident in particular was his only "slip" since Hiddink took over. Frankly this season is over for Chelsea and Diego Costa could use an early rest. Have that hamstring checked over again and then get him pumped for the next season.

Antonio Conte hope you watched that shower of shite. Don't even think about signing that fucking contract until you are not assured that a squad overhaul will take place this summer. Run for your life if those bastards surrounding Roman Abramovich force you to keep Oscar and all the other frauds in the squad. Oh and thanks a lot Jose Mourinho you sick human being. Sold our soul to the devil for a fucking title. Kept that fraud Oscar at the expense of Kevin De Bruyne. Apparently Lukaku was not good enough (haha!!!), you wrote Mata off from the start, Ryan Bertrand gone in a blink, sold every piece of talent from this squad, failed to integrate any youth player coming from one of the best academies in Europe. Man I am absolutely fuming.

Frankly at this point I'm more worried about Diego Costa and Willians future than I am about Hazards. These two show character week-in, week-out and the new manager should rebuild around them. Cash in those 100m on Hazard, add another 100m and let Conte do his job. Really hope the rumours are true and he'll use a two centre forward formation. Always felt he's more suited for a partnership upfront than lead the line by himself. True warrior this guy.

It's all about ditching the negative tactics and align to what modern football asks. It's imperative to hold a high line nowadays and press high up the pitch, play with intensity. It's embarassing how many times Paris was allowed to pass the ball w/o any Chelsea player making an effort to get the possession back. While everytime Chelsea had the ball, Paris pressed high up the pitch and limited Chelsea to a few passes together and then it was over, possession was gone.
-
Maybe it is for the best we got out at this point. It hurts to say it, but we're not good enough for the last eight in UCL. If Paris can hide the ball from us at the Bridge in that manner, then I don't want to imagine what Barcelona or Bayern would have done to us. Going to be a long time without Champions League football, but hopefully we'll come back stronger. Have to go back to December and stick to what I've said back then - Chelsea should have gone to Europa League. Mourinho knew he was a dead man walking at that point and if he was man enough then he'd have let Porto go through and give Chelsea a real chance at Champions League next season by winning the Europa League. It was clear from the beggining there was no chance we'd get a Champions League spot next season by winning the trophy. Goodbye Champions League and UP THE CHELS

Jammy jammy bastards. GK howler and a fucking dive.

Stamford Bridge, the home of thriller knock-outs. This ground has seen a lot of beautiful nights for anyone to write us off yet. Bertrand Traore should play with Willian and Hazard behind Diego Costa if Pedro is not available. Enough with that fraud Oscar.
-
No, if Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal & City finish in top 4 and one of United/Liverpool win Europa League, then 4 English teams will automatically qualify for UCL group phase and one (4th spot) will play the qualifying play-off.
-
Awesome results and thank you Petr Cech
-
Three in a row yooohoooooooo
-
Subs should be Pato for Diego Costa, RLC for Cesc and Baba Rahman for Hazard (Kenedy goes on the left wing)
-
Better than Oscar in every aspect of the game and a set piece specialist. Seems like a good buy for 35m (rumoured release clause).

It didn't happen with Liverpool two years ago so there's still hope. Liverpool have a huge fan base here in Romania, definitely the most supported foreign team by a huge mile. And they are similar to the scousers in England - vile, frustrated human beings ready to rip your head off at the very first bad word about their team. They have this theory that royal blood runs through every scouser's vein and their team must be regarded as the epitome of football. There is nothing bigger than LFC, others are just plastics or creations of corruption surrounding modern football that stops them from being successful again. I used to work with a couple of LFC fans, members of Liverpool fan club here in Romania and they gave me the dog abuse when they heard I was supporting Chelsea. It was that type of low life bastards that wore a Liverpool shirt at work when suit & tie was imposed most of the time.
-
Decision making is suspect, there's some aspects in his game that he has to work on, but his balance and dribbling skills is insane. I think he is as talented as Hazard. If indeed age is just a number for Antonio Conte, then he'll be staying on a gold mine here at Chelsea - there's so much raw talent in that Academy (on loan players included).

Imagine if it all goes down to the last round and Chelsea gifts Spurs/Arsenal the title.......
