Potentially one of the best deals Chelsea could struck this summer. He is a terrific player than can score and assists with ease. Prolific than Willian no doubt about it and his work rate is great, too. But one thing I cannot understand is why Bild keep mentioning that Chelsea could come back with a higher bid than 60m when he is in the last year of his contract and has no intention of signing a new deal. Basically in 6 months time he is free to sign a pre agreement with any club in this world and Dortmund could lose him for free. They are in no position of negociating the deal they want because clearly there is no club in this world paying a monster amount for him this summer knowing that they can get him for free in one year, or at a drastically reduced price come winter transfer market. Dortmund have a history for letting quality players go for free and they can add Mkhitaryan to that list if they are stubborn enough. If our club really want him then IMO the club has the upper hand in this negociations and all the reasons to complete a deal at the price that Chelsea impose, not the other way around. If the rumour is true then I'm more than sure that Chelsea has already reached Mkhitaryan and struck a deal with him. Now they only have to deal with Dortmund and the fact that he's entered in the last year of his contract and does not want to renew can only help. The rumoured fee is complete bollocks, he will leave for half of that, maybe less IMO.

Sevilla away from home this season - 5 wins out of 32 matches. Against Betis, Bilbao, Mirandes (2nd league), Logrones (3rd league). And Liverpool HAHAHAHAHAH
-
Put this bellend out of his misery and ban him from TV. Can't believe he said that no player will leave Liverpool because there's no one better out there, bar Real Madrid and Barcelona.
-
What a relief thank you Sevilla for knocking the scum out of the park. Now I'm sure the biased media and all the Liverpool turds will have a go at the ref, the weather, the floodlights, the fact that Sevilla fans were allowed in the stadium, yada yada yada. Never their fault. Fuck off you scouse bastards!!! Loving the sight of bindippers crying in the stands hahaha. Get used to this you bloody cunts. Vamooooos, vamos Sevilla !!!!!!!!!!! OLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Truly a memorable night for mankind.
-
Agent Sevilla FC must save football tonight. Fucking beat the bindippers and spare us from all the media wanking. Imagine the next two weeks if Liverpool win this. Jesus Christ. Salen los de Klopp de inicio con Mignolet, Clyne, Touré, Lovren, Alberto Moreno, Lallana, Milner, Emre Can, Coutinho, Firmino y Sturridge. Sale Emery con Soria, Coke, Rami, Carriço, Mariano, Krychowiak, N'Zonzi, Escudero, Banega, Vitolo y Gameiro. COME ON SEVILLA !!!!!!!!! VAMOOOSSS

Them Spurs turds still can't finish above Arsenal

Finally it is over. Now come on Antonio Conte chop off this squad and bring competent players. Let's be smart on the market, have a good pre season and then get back to where this club belongs. So glad that there is no Europa League distraction next season and Conte gets to concentrate exclusively on English football. Plenty of time in between football matches to have the team prepared and pumped up week in, week out. Up the Chels! Bring on next season!!!

Frankly it is hard to think of anyone else, bar Messi and Cristiano, that can score in every single crucial game. I've taken the so called "big matches" against the "big teams" that Higuain's played since coming to Italy and his record is pretty good if you ask me. Since coming to Serie A: - against Lazio - scored 12 goals in 9 matches. - against Inter - scored 4 goals 6 matches. - against Milan - scored 4 goals in 6 matches. - against Firenze - scored 3 goals in 7 matches. - against Roma - scored 2 goals in 7 matches. - against Juventus - scored 3 goals in 7 matches. He's played in 42 derbies since coming to Italy, scoring 28 goals in 21 of those matches.

4-2-4, 4-4-2, basically it's the same thing, the only difference is that the wide players are wingers (Hazard & Willian) and not pure wide midfielders. Even though most of the fans don't think there is going to be a lot of major signings this summer because of the (supposedly) limited transfer amount, I'm on a different opinion and I think that it's impossible after such season for the Chelsea board not to back Conte in the market with at least 100m. Plus the money Chelsea should get from selling certain players. That makes, let's say, 150-160m for Conte to spend and that's a pretty good amount for a manager renowned for rebuilding squads in his 1st season. I think Conte can do the job on the market, but only if he's backed by the Chelsea board with additional money from the club's bank. If Conte's left for dead with the usual "one in, one out" policy then I'm afraid there's not going to be that much of a change in personnel and the usual suspects will keep their place in the squad. Here is me hoping there's the other way around and Conte will get a proper backing from the board to rebuild the squad. If this is not seen as the perfect moment to do it, then I do not know when can it be.

There is a growing consensus that Conte wants to rebuild the defence first, then play a two striker system, likely 4-4-2. Back four aside, I think that in order for that to happen he only needs to add an enforcer in the midfield (Nainggolan) and a striker (Higuain). Higuain - D. Costa Hazard - Nainggolan Fabregas - Willian Then Conte can focus on defence where he already got a competent right back in Azpilicueta. I know Fabregas is kind of slow, but I think he'd work in a 4-4-2. This system covers a lot of ground so he would not look that out of pace IMO, especially with Nainggolan as his partner. Atletico's Gabi plays the same role and he is not pacey either, but he is tactically astute. That's the essence of 4-4-2 in the end - discipline. Simeone is mastering this tactic with two central midfielders (Koke & Saul) on the wings. And Conte is similar to him in terms of the tactical side of the game. Pirlo even said that he repeats the same drills over and over in training until players get to dream of them.
-
Yeah I know, but if the rumours are true and Conte has already contacted him then maybe Chelsea might have a chance of getting Higuain.
-
Cracking player and one of world's best forwards no doubt about it. That 3rd goal he's scored tonight was an absolute beauty. Hard to think he'll only go for 37m knowing that turd of Napoli president. But if there is any chance Chelsea could get him I say jump right on it without thinking twice.
-
I think he's stalled. Frankly I'd have Mkhitaryan over him any given day. Hitting his prime, entering the final year of his contract and there are signs that he does not want to renegociate. Price should be more than decent, Dortmund can't hold on to some bullshit amount as they risk to lose him for free in a year. And he is a smashing player coming off a great season, assisting goals left and right and can play a variety of positions. The thing is that Guardiola introduced so many players in that Bayern team and did all the possible experiments with most of the players, but Gotze never seemed to brake the barrier. Even Rode, Kimmich and Coman played more matches than him. I think he is that type of player that does not care that much if he is playing or not as long as he is living the good life outside football and gets to collect that fat paycheck every month.

What do you think about Stuttgart's Werner, Kostic and Rupp? I do not follow Bundesliga, but one of my friends is an avid Bayern fan and follows Bundesliga just like I do follow EPL. He even watches some irrelevant matches such as Darmstadt - Ingolstadt and so on. We had a chat months ago about Stuttgart and he told me that even though they are poor, with an abysmal defence, their attacking line is explosive. Pacey strikers that can do damage to any team in Bundesliga. He talked a lot about Kostic and Werner, especially Kostic who he rates very highly, told me he is one of the best wingers in Bundesliga. Just seen that Stuttgart got relegated and thought about asking this. The way my friend talked to me about this three players in particular made me think they must be really good.

New kit looks decent

I hope this is a joke. And it must be since it's the Sun reporting it as well.
-
Whoever signed that contract between West Ham and the Olympic Stadium should be investigated asap and jailed for a long time. 2.5m per year rent for a 500m stadium is an absolute insult to all Londoners.
-
Frankly I do not understand how most of the clubs forget about their exorbitant price tags all of a sudden when German clubs come asking for their players. Do German clubs pose as "we are poor, going bankrupt, please don't rip us off" everytime they go into negociating deals? English clubs were asked for an amount in the region of £30m for Ousmane Dembele. Now he joins Dortmund for £11m. Shakhtar asked Chelsea more than £35m (release clause) for Douglas Costa, but months later he joined Bayern for little over £20m. Renato Sanches valued at £48m by Benfica just because United was interested, joined Bayern for £25m (plus performance related bonuses). Benatia another example - Roma president was quoted saying that Benatia will not leave for anything less than £45m (just because Chelsea was interested), but then Bayern comes asking and he's off for £20m. And the list can go on and on and on. Fucked up double standard and English clubs should wake up. Stop overpaying for donkeys like Sterling, Mangala, Depay, Schneiderlin and everything goes back to normal. Fucking foreign clubs if they want to rip English clubs off then they should fuck right off and sell elsewhere for peanuts. Fucking small time wankers.

Why, Begovic?

Really don't care about the names he brings, if he wants to sign the entire Serie A then so be it. The only thing I would like to see is a change in formation. 4-4-2, 3-5-2, don't care, just go for something new. Reshape that trainwreck of a defensive line with some modern, ball playing defenders and add some fight and dynamism to that midfield. Cesc should be the only midfielder to be in the squad come August, the rest of them should be shown the door (not talking about Willian as I think Conte will play him on the flank). If Terry is going to leave, then the same should go for Cahill and Ivanovic, too. We're not playing any European competition so the English quota for the EPL season should be meet with young, hungry players from the Academy. This is a turning point for this club and if the board really want a change then now it's the perfect time to do it and back Conte. No more useless signings behind the manager's back, leave this guy do his thing and get the job early in the market. If Conte wants to chop this squad in half then let him do it, no more Oscar because he is the media darling and marketable in Brazil, or Gary Cahill just because he is English. There is A LOT of players not good enough for this club and this games should be the last for them in the Chelsea royal blue shirt.

At least this sends Newcastle closer to Championship football. As for Chelsea, fuck knows what was in Hiddink's mind when he sent that team out.

Amen to that
