Yes, Liverpool have a big chance now, just like all the other three teams left in the competition. But bare in mind that it is Sevilla's only hope to Champions League football next season, too. Also Villarreal have that 4th spot pretty much secured, but they will try to win Europa League to skip Champions League qualifiers where they will probably not be amongst the seeded teams. Do not underestimate the Spanish teams just because of Liverpool's desire and hunger for CL football. Unlike others, La Liga teams rate this competition very high. That defensive fiasco you saw last night from Dortmund, it won't happen again. Especially if Liverpool get Villarreal next.

Villarreal would be a tough draw, too. That defence is impenetrable at times, they're a bit like Atletico. And that dude Bailly is a rock at the back.

It seems that this "lack of patience" as you call it occured with Lukaku, De Bruyne and Bertrand as well and you have to wonder why it's happening. Why are players so eager to leave Mourinho after such short spans working with him? Maybe because he wrote them off from the start? Ok, let's call Lukaku a nutter for wanting to leave after that penalty miss. Maybe he could not take the pressure and did not have what it takes to make it at Chelsea as some say (although I do not agree with this). But what about Filipe Luis? What about De Bruyne and Bertrand? Were they pussies as well? I don't think so and I don't think they lacked patience as well. They knew from the beginning (or as the season went by for Filipe Luis) that they don't stand a chance against Mourinho's favourites no matter what they do on game day or on the training pitch. Maybe none of these players would have ever left if Mourinho gave them a glimer of hope that Chelsea is all about competition for places. But it wasn't like that, it was all about constant favoritism and they figured that out and they've all gone and saved their careers. They did not lack any patience, they were smart in figuring out that Mourinho would have never dropped his favourites, no matter what. And they were damn right, this season has demonstrated this with plain facts.

You guys not only that have pushed that panic button, but you fucking crushed it I feel that you're overreacting big time. Ok, Dortmund is a great team, but Bundesliga is as tactically clueless as EPL. Dortmund threw that lead away because they can't defend for shit, they are not made to defend. They looked like a deer caught in headlights as soon as Liverpool moved their lines 20 meters further up the pitch. They were a trainwreck defensively, absolute garbage, and by garbage I mean Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers type of garbage. Sevilla and Villarreal are awaiting in the semis and that's the end for Liverpool. Spanish teams are tactically astute and Liverpool will be in all kinds of problems when meeting organised defences and teams with an actual game plan.

Fucking hell Dortmund what a capitulation. Now you won't hear the end of it.

One of the best sights in football to see the kop scum reduced to silence from the very first minutes.

We'll have to get used to this I'm afraid because of the new stadium. It's impossible to pump almost 600m into a new ground and at the same time stay competitive on the market like before. I don't think it's going to be "one in, out out" ONLY, maybe Chelsea will make extra funds available as well, but there will be certain limits to the transfer budget and the salary cap for sure. If Chelsea's view on "best players" is Oscar, Ivanovic, Cahill, Mikel then I'm all for selling them and bring new blood.

Yes, City's Patrick Roberts and him was Fulham's standout players in that Youth Cup final two years ago. Top prospect on a free. Sounds good.

Times reports he'll be shown the door at the end of the season. Music to my ears.

Last night it was De Bruyne, tonight Filipe Luis, next in line is Sturridge - will probably bag a hattrick tomorrow. And then De Bruyne should wrap up this week with a late winner at the Bridge.

What a travesty. He's been nothing short of superb this season. Good enough to challenge Barcelona and Real Madrid for the title and also to make it into Champions League semifinals, but apparently not good enough for Chelsea because of Mourinho's paranoia, constant favoritism and genius tactical ideas such as the fact that Azpilicueta has to play there to cover for Terry's lack pace and other horse shite. Fuck off

HAHAHAH

Courtois, Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku, possibily Nainggolan. Half of Belgium NT. Plus Charly Musonda a full time international in the near future. All this for a fucking title that has done more harm than good. Let that sink in. Mourinho you sick human being.

Poor mans Oscar

FUCK OFF PARIS

City with a huge chance to go through. No Matuidi & Verratti, van der Wiel right back, Aurier centre back, Marquinhos defensive midfielder. Must knock those arrogant twats out.

Got it. Thank you.

One question about SB - will they demolish it COMPLETELY and build a brand new one, or expand it by 20k seats, like Liverpool do with their Main Stand?

Conte was screaming for quality wingers while at Juventus and the fact that the board didn't satisfy his needs was one of the reasons he resigned. Now at Chelsea he's got two top wingers in Hazard and Willian, plus Cuadrado (one of his favourites) who's coming back from his loan and Pedro who is a decent player that can still do the job if motivation is there. There's plenty of depth in that area and I don't think Conte will be looking to make amends there. We know he's a demanding coach with a pretty big character so surely he'll be looking for instant success in England, while keeping his star player. Conte can't be fooled by Hazard's current form, he knows it's just a matter of time before Hazard starts firing on all cylinders again.

THIS IS THE VARDY PARTY

HAHAHAHA Borini

Vardy YESSSSS

Hard to think we're not challenging for the title straight away with a midfield of Vidal - Nainggolan, new centre halves and probably a new top forward to partner Diego Costa. But until that let's hope this rumours don't turn to bullshit come August. Diego Costa - Cavani/Higuain Hazard - Nainggolan Vidal - Willian Baba? - new CB new CB - Azpilicueta Courtois

I wouldn't stay at my workplace either if my manager would write me off from the start. Mourinho said when he came here in 2013 that Oscar is his no. 10 and others have to get used to it. Adapt or bust. That's some way to motivate your other playmakers (Mata & De Bruyne). How was De Bruyne supposed to at least hope for a starting spot when Mourinho had only one thing in mind and saw Oscar as the ultimate no. 10 at that point?
