Could be essential to our development next season, hopefully our next manager has a brain cell and gives him a chance - he could also help tempt Hazard to come as well!
-
With the way things are turning, it could be either or, at this moment of time - i see us played Europa football, unless in some form or another some wizard's magic is on our side and we win the Champions League. There is heart from our players when it really REALLY matters, but seems to be inconsistent enough to ensure some kind of form. Then again, i am only speculating - maybe some Wizard's magic might happen, but as things stand, we aren't going in the right direction in the two way spectrum. As for the team, hopefully if we do fail (IF being thee important word there) to qualify for CL, then the manager will be forced to test the waters with the youth, or something among those lines. We need an overhaul, but it would be the grand oppertunity for some youth to finally dip there toes into the Chelsea first team pond. Lukaku has scored a large amount of reserve goals and is way too experienced for reserve games, playing against European teams that don't have the same power as Barcalona might give them more chances.

Couldn't happen to any others guys who deserve it more! Congrats! -
I would love to get Hoilett here, a brilliant prospect and would be a 'Fergie' signing, that he would sign a 'lower' player and then play him and he would trun out to be brilliant. Another player who has that potential is Victor Moses, who is easily the best player at Wigan, and he is also English which would add a little more to the transfer.
-
He has done brilliant so far, and if he can get Torres scoring again, i think the big mad Russian might give 'em some time longer.
-
Nice to see him play with some confidence!
-
Great support for him - seems like some fans still want him to be a success here, unlike most on here....
-
any chance of a highlight of the game with his goals?
-
So did Torres play well, or what?
-
The problem is that after a few games, Torres becomes complacent and his effort isn't as maximised as it was like last night. With the right tactics, yes they could play together and potentially, they could play well, but it isn't 100% guranteed that is will be the same 100% in every game!
-
We did seem to play a 4-4-2 diamond in the latter stages of the game, with Lamps on the left, Rambo on the right, and Malouda playing behind Nando and Didi, but soon gotten deeper. Think they could actually play together, if the midfeild is chosen right and with the right motivation- which i think under Roberto, could actually work well!
-
Nice to see his work rate, too bad he can't score though. Think he might need to get some tips from Kalou about that....
-
Seeing Roberto running onto the pitch, attacking both Didi and Nando with hugs - really sums up why heart for a club comes out in the darkest of times! Everyone was superb, even Nando, with his attacking, movement and his pressing - wondered why he took off Sturridge, but Nando was really lively which i think helped. Didi has to be man of the match, but then again Luiz, Terry, Rambo could also be. A perfect example of the spirit of the beautiful game!

Batman should be the new manager. Overlooked for AvB, now it should be him!
-
Believe it or not, but at times like this, it is good to rely on a hard-working player like Kalou. He often scores goals in his one minute of brilliance, which is something we are lacking so much this season.
-
I want a manager that cares about the club, or would - as well as having the ability to seek players virtually unknown who are amazing, like AvB's scouting ability. Jose is the man in my first choice, but i think if Roberto does well enough, he could maybe get the job full-time.
-
I hope if he can overcome Napoli, and win us the FA Cup, Roman will give him a job. Always thought Roberto had the skills to be a manager here, but couldn't see it due to the stature between Chelsea and West Brom. To have a manager who wants to win with more heart then anything is what we need, and i am sure more youth will be given an oppertunity rather then playing players out of position which happened with Carlo and AvB.

I am not like certain members. The posts above it revelant to the point that the subject matter is the reason why this thread was open, and also adding to the conversation - which shouldn't warrant a new thread. The latest one about AC Milan and how Chelsea should look to that is the prime example of brilliant threads on this site, with a look at a possible solution and with a analysis for the resolve. To see links to threads like Shane's, Wilson's, which are - like it has been stated - told you so's, is just an open-flame waiting for trolls to expand it to a complete flame war.
-
Also, why are these the only threads that seem to be linked to the twitter/facebook feeds?
-
Wow, a new thread that hasn't even got a paragraph of writing, and is another 'AVB-Hate' thread. This could have been a simple post in the 'AvB Out?' thread, but nope - just cluttering the forum with more useless and discarded topics. Your opion is worthy of a thread? Not really. Isn't there an ex-blues for carlo anyway?
-
Hazard should be one winger, but Hulk is too much, if only Porto will offer a double exchange and a certain sum amount. Heard James Rodriguez is meant to be good, is he a worthy back-up option?
-
But, the sole fact of improving for the fans and for the reputation of this club should be enough to gerner some kind of response, plus the large amount of wages they get week-in and week-out.
-
I think AvB should be given more time, it is clear he has some sort of vision for what he wants for the club for the long run, and even acknowledge's that. The problem that lies with the season we have is that the players are who they are, and our manager is so young and is learning. I think we have bled as much out of this squad as it is, and another managerial transition would put us back into the same position - despite if it is Jose or not. I respect Jose for what he has done with his career, and for his special bond for us and the EPL - but we need to grasp this oppertunity we have with someone like AvB who has a project and at least try to build on it. If AvB does a large overhaul and brings in some amazing and exceptional buys like he did with Mata and Romeu, maybe we would have more of an eager time to win and maybe we could get somewhere. All i want from this season is a top four finish and the FA Cup honour, which we could do if the players actually get motivated to push on from the team's failings to turn the season around. I don't want AvB sacked, as to me he is someone and something that we haven't had yet, and it might be a good risk to keep him on, as much admiration i have for Jose, this 'project' should be given an oppertunity to run.

Only till June when he shall be one of us!
