If the club keep persisting with Torres, then Danny has no choice but to leave for the sake of his career. He's got the talent, he's got the tricks and he's a bit selfish, which is sometimes a good thing. All he needs is regular minutes & a bit of faith from the manager.

We'll see what happens at the end of this season. If RDM can lead Chelsea to a top-three finish, the latter stages of the UCL and a potential domestic cup trophy, then he should stay on board. If we seriously screw up this season..then Roman will have a decision to make.

Fixed.

I think a young, relatively cheap CB in the summer would be perfect. Jores Okore would be a good option in my opinion, he's a talented young defender with maturity beyond his years. He's a fan of Chelsea, he has the potential to be a leader in the future and he should be able available for around 5-7 million.
-
I don't think we'll see many games with Rambo - KDB in the pivot....I think he'll be used alongside Mikel OR as one of the three attacking mids if we persist with 4-2-3-1 system.
-
Well you guys overspent on Downing and Carroll, so I guess Sturridge would fit right in!
-
http://youtu.be/YdDWslIsb7o Drogbaa. Simply, what a player.
-
Would love to see Lampsy retire at Chelsea and we need him in midfield. Without JT or Lamps, we lack a leader on the pitch...no offence to Cech but I'd prefer our captain to be an outfield player.
-
The Premier league rules basically say that you can have 17 non home grown and 8 home-grown players in a 25 man squad list..(you don't need to register U-21 players). Our current submitted squad list has 20 players (with Hazard, Oscar, Romeu counted as U-21's)..hence we wouldn't need another homegrown player as a replacement for Sturridge.
-
I just don't see Sturridge flourishing in a 4-2-3-1 system. He'd do better in my opinion, if we switch to 4-3-3, that way he can play in the middle or interchange with Moses in the RF/RW role.
-
Definitely a gifted youngster. He could be our long term solution at CB. Hopefully we get him, cause he is on United's radar, Fergie is a keen admirer.
-
4-3-3 should get us at least a point against Juve. Cech Azpi - Brana - someone - Cole Rambo - Mikel -- Oscar Moses -- Sturridge -- Mata I just hope RDM doesn't use Bertrand or Ramires as a 'defensive' winger.
-
Class player but Jovetic won't leave Fiorentina in January..and considering how well they are doing in Serie A, he might just stay a little longer.
-
Well Lewandowski wouldn't be available before the end of the season, so I guess we could bring in someone like Bony in January. He'd add a bit of strength, aerial presence, fresh energy up front and he'd be available for a reasonably cheap price.
-
Porto have established a very strong network in South America. Thats why they keep managing to bring in fairly unknown players and then help them progress into class players. They are a selling club. They develop the talent and then sell the players for high prices.
-
Our final third options are Mata, Oscar, Hazard & Moses. Kakuta, if he proves himself for Vitesse, could come back and add some depth to the left-side of our attack. However, I see his future away from Chelsea.
-
I'm not getting my hopes up about RDM dropping Torres.
-
I'm starting to get concerned...I'd hate to see another big money flop. Maybe we should look at bringing in Bony in January. He wouldn't cost that much and he seems to have a knack of scoring goals. Then..in the summer, we could bring in Lewandowski or someone else for 25-30 million.
-
I like the idea of playing Mazacar...but we're 1 player short in midfield. With Lampard ageing & the fact that Romeu is still learning, Meireles would of come in handy this season.
-
The only question is: which club is dumb enough to take Torres and his massive wages?
-
Even if Cahill has a shit game, no one will say anything about him because he's English. Seriously, the type of posts I read on this forum about Luiz, it's like he's the new Titus Bramble or something. I'm not saying that Luiz doesn't make costly errors, cause at times, he's like a headless chicken but why is that he plays worse with Cahill? I reckon a strong disciplined defensive coach like Clarke or Mourinho would make Luiz a solid defender. So maybe it's better for him, if he leaves Chelsea.
-
Yep, he was given the 'tag' of Scottish Wayne Rooney since his youth days at Celtic. The Kid is gifted, hopefully he makes our first team just like Chalobah, Josh and a few others.
-
At the start of the season, Luiz was probably our best defender. He and Terry seemed to have an understanding, then came all the injuries and suspension...and Luiz just started playing shit with Cahill. Luiz makes mistakes and Cahill's an average defender who also makes mistakes..put the two of them together and you're left with one of our worst CB pairings of recent times. I don't get why RDM persists in using the Luiz - Cahill pairing. I mean unless Brana needs a rest or he's injured, use Brana - Cahill...and when JT gets back, play him with Luiz.
-
We have some absolute idiots on this forum as well. I feel bad for Danny, he needs to leave Chelsea to further his career.
-
If Luiz needs to be sold then we only have 2 CB's left at the club. JT and Brana.
