In terms of a new DM, another option could be Ettiene Capoue. He's a talented DM, with the ability to slot in at CB if needed. He's been on the radar of English clubs since the end of last season, Arsenal & Spurs scouted him twice, QPR put in a bid for him..but Capoue said he'd prefer to play for a 'bigger' club. Definitely agree about the need for 2 strikers and a new CB.

Goal difference doesn't matter. According to UEFA's tie breaking system..if two teams end up on equal points after all matches have been completed, the team with the higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question will qualify through to the knockout stages. Juventus have obtained 4 points from us, hence even if they draw at Shakhtar, they'll go through based on Uefa's tie breaker system.

Moses was available? Sure, he's more of a RW..but considering how shit Torres has become, we should be prepared to try Sturridge, Moses, whoever at CF.

SAF is also pretty flexible in terms of tactics. He tries to change things up, like this season, United have played 4-5 different formations. RDM sticks to the same tactics..but then out of nothing, he decides to try an untested tactic against an in-form Juve team that simply rip us apart. How could you possibly expect to win a match (unless your the manager of Spain) without a striker on the pitch.

Stability with the correct type of manager = Long term success. I'm not sure if RDM is the correct type of manager for Chelsea.

I think Chelsea are suffering from a culture shock in the first team. I mean we've been used to our experienced players (Lamps, Drogba, JT, Essien) coming up with outstanding performances in big matches for so many years...and then suddenly, this season, we have no leadership, no big game experience left on the pitch. Hazard and Oscar should become 2 awesome players in the next 3-5 years but at the moment, they are still learning the team's tactics and they are still getting used to each others style of play. You can't just let go of all your experienced players and suddenly expect the young players to step up in big matches. Look at Man United, Fergie still uses Giggs, Scholes in big games because he knows experienced players can keep coolheads in pressurised situations and thus, they can help the youngsters stay calm throughout the match.

Thats why you don't use Luiz against City. Use Brana - Cahill till JT gets back, with Azpi at RB.

They might loan him to a Championship team so that he can adapt to English style of football. I'd rather see him go on loan to Germany, maybe he'll be able to thrive and really grow as a player like KDB at Werder Bremen.

It was bad enough getting ripped apart by Juventus..and in 5 days, we have to play Citeh..who continue to play poorly yet they get the results cause they have strikers that can score the decisive goal.

We're not playing as a team and the 4-2-3-1 formation doesn't really suit our players. The problem is in midfield and up front. We have no strikers at the club & our midfield just sucks.

We dont really need Willian. We need to get a striker and a DM/CM before we sign another attacking maestro.

I don't think Robbie is an out and out attacking manager, which is what we need if we want to see the best of Hazard, Oscar, Mata on a consistent basis. He's a good manager but he's not the man to take CFC forward..cause we seem unable to find the correct balance between attack & defence.

He's worth a max of 20 million (considering the inflated prices in the market these days..) For 40 million, we could land Jovetic easily.

RDM screwed up with the team selection. We got carved open so many times that it wasn't funny.

Its not only pressing the ball, you need at least 1 clinical finisher up front. Neither Hazard, Oscar or Mata are 'clinical' in front of goal.
