I'd take Luiz over Cahill any day of the week. Luiz just needs a kick up the ass from Jose. If he doesn't improve on his performances, then i'm sure Jose won't have much choice other than to sell him.

It sums up Torres' career at Chelsea. He takes one step forward, two steps back.. As for the game against Schalke, we need to play with intensity and pace...would like to see Willian/Schurrle and Azpi get a start for this one.

To be honest, if Bayern really doesn't want Lewa, he'd be wise to choose Arsenal. Just like Liverpool, Arsenal's system makes a good striker flourish. At Chelsea, as a big name striker, you'd be kinda worried after seeing Sheva & Torres struggle to score against good opposition.

I don't know if its just me...but whenever Mata plays (and Oscar is pushed out wide)...our central midfielders look extremely vulnerable. I'm not going to blame Lampard for his poor performance yesterday...our whole team (other than Terry?) performed under-par... I feel Lampard and Mikel should be rotated based on opposition.

I disagree. Our midfield is weak, imagine if Ramires picks up an injury...we'd be screwed. IF the right midfielder is available in January, we should sign him.

I don't think Ozil can be made, just a class act whenever you see him play. As for Mata...he goes missing in alot of games. He really needs to step up if he wants to claim the CAM position from Oscar. Back to the original post, I say keep Oscar as the CAM.

Nearly every predicted lineup has Mata in it... I'm not sure how he'll find the time and space to be effective against physically dominant midfielders.

Romeu just seems to have lost all his confidence since the injury. As for him not getting any time in the Valencia side, maybe the coach doesn't rate him or maybe he's lacking match fitness? There could be many reasons why he's not playing at Valencia... At the end of the day, He's not a bad player...but maybe sending him to a lesser league (like Holland) would have been better for him.

Hopefully we see Hazard - Oscar - Schurrle/Willian start against Newcastle Mata can come off the bench if needed.

He's kinda like a young Paulo Ferreira with pace. Capable of filling in when needed and generally doesn't get embarrassed by his opponent. It must be hard for Bertrand though...if he had asked for a move to a mid-table side, he'd most likely be the starting LB..

Willian what a player...i can see why Spurs wanted him, he's a game changer. Good to see Bertrand and Essien play.

Mata won't get the recognition he deserves...for me, he's just a bit too reserved. Hazard will get recognition cause he's an explosive player, just like C.Ronaldo, Robben, Ribery.

Luiz just needs to take some of the risks out of his game. He's got all the skills you want in a ball playing defender, just needs to keep a coolhead in certain situations... Cahill is a good squad player. The world cup should be a good experience for him next year...

Hopefully Klopp gets coach of the year I respect Jose alot...but what Klopp has done at Dortmund is amazing!
