I cannot wait to see Schurrle in a season or two... Just imagining an attacking unit such as: -------------Lukaku------------- Schurrle -- Oscar -- Hazard (with Willian off the bench) gives me goosebumps!
-
Nothing wrong with buying Martinez. He's 27, about to hit his peak and he scores goals. I'd be much more satisfied with Martinez as our #1 striker instead of past-it Torres, past-it Eto'o and an average Ba..

Well..apparently your country's coach got the sack after those defeats http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/football/a-defiant-holger-osieck-says-he-wont-stand-down-from-job-despite-successive-6-0-defeats/story-fni2wcjl-1226738739979 Australia needs to start blooding the youngsters...

You just never know with Fulham. If we don't finish our chances, you just know someone like Berbatov might find a way of scoring the winning goal. United have RvP and Rooney who can win the game even when they play like crap. City have Aguero and Yaya who can win the game for them. We seriously lack a game-winner at the moment cause Mata is low on confidence and Hazard isn't performing to the level required.
-
He was gonna be thrown into the deep end at some point in time. It was good to see him play, better off having a poor performance now..rather than at the business-end of the season.

Analyzing Everton's goal - How it went completely berserk
Reddish-Blue replied to hjperdeath's topic in Chelsea Articles
So basically you're saying the goal conceded was completely Luiz's fault. At the end of the day, defensive mistakes aren't the biggest concern. The fact that none of our players look capable of putting the ball into the net is very concerning. -
To be fair, I don't see Moses coming back to Chelsea. He's effectively behind three players in the pecking order for the RW position..and two of those players have a much more well-rounded skill set compared to Moses.
-
Moses should leave for the sake of his own future, just like Sturridge did. He deserves playing time and a bit of faith from the manager, because he's a solid player.

whats MMA? American football or something?
-
It was obvious City weren't going to run away with it.. New manager, new players that need time to settle in (only Negredo has done relatively well out of their new signings). I reckon if City end up winning the title, it'll be because Chelsea and United screw up..rather than them being the dominant side in England.
-
Expecting a draw. Hoping Everton don't win it with a late goal.
-
That would of made sense 2-3 years ago... But now, Barkley is in Everton's first team, full of confidence, seems to have improved alot from that loan at Leeds, has the potential to become an England regular As for McEachran, he's nowhere near Chelsea's first team, looks like a passive, laid-back player...looked average for Middlesboro last season.
-
so what if we gave the no.10 shirt to Di Santo? He was an exciting but very raw striker.
-
Can't wait to see him earn his 100th cap for England. What a player, what a midfielder, Frank Lampard the legend. :blue scalf:
-
Yeh but the deal makes no sense... they just let go of a quality midfielder at the peak of his ability and now they're going to bring back a past-it Kaká...
-
Lampard really shouldn't be starting this game... I really want to see a Ramires - Mikel partnership under Mourinho.
-
For me, if Jupp was still in charge at Bayern, I'd put them ahead of Madrid...because he commanded massive respect from the players. Pep has to earn respect from the Bayern squad this season...which may cause them to be vulnerable in certain games and it will be interesting to see his plan B if the tika taka fails.. As for Chelsea, my concern is the CM/DM position...Ramires is a brilliant player who will only get better under Mourinho..but who's going to be his partner against the big clubs of Europe? Do we go with Ramires -- Lampard or Ramires --- Mikel?
-
HAHAHAHA Arsenal VS Dortmund vs Napoli Who's gonna miss out?
-
Awesome draw...as long as we avoid Napoli from Pot 4.
-
Great to see Eto'o join the club...much better option than Torres up front.
-
Ba going back to Newcastle makes no sense... He should move abroad (if Roma are still interested)..
-
Lamela, some Romanian defender and Eriksen are all having their medicals at Spurs today. Some very nice signings by Spurs this transfer window...imagine if they fail to finish in the top 4, that would be hilarious.
-
I don't know what games you've been watching but Paulinho has been one of Spurs' better players so far this season. Both Capoué and Paulinho have added a bit of steel and physicality to their midfield...quite an upgrade from an unfit Huddlestone and an ageing Parker.
-
Lamela for 30 million isn't a bargain...it's value for money IF AvB utilises his skill-set properly. Spurs have done well in the transfer window, they've upgraded their midfield and found a quality striker to play upfront. Whilst Arsenal have done nothing except re-sign Flamini....should be interesting to see who gets 4th place.
