Poor defending but some brilliant play from Hazard got us the 3 points
-
Lamps just needs to be rested in certain games, thats it. He's still got tons of quality
-
Everton are doing well against the big boys Would be great to see Everton play Europa League next season..
-
what a performance by Hazard
-
If we play like we did against Newcastle...I fully expect Sunderland to get 3 points. Hope the players don't get complacent
-
Over-praised? Thats because fans are generally delighted to see a youngster get his first taste of top-level football As for the veteran player, he is expected to set the standard by putting in a solid performance.
-
He could be playing regularly at Championship level...but will that really benefit him? I've worked with young players for 3-4 years and sometimes they lose motivation when they are asked to constantly change clubs for a loan spell... Chalobah was a part of Watford's first team, he knew the coach, the system and the players....and then this season, he goes to Nottingham and he just doesn't seem to have settled in.
-
Exactly. In terms of Chalobah, I'd bring him back in January and ease him into the first team Give him games against mid-table sides and see how he goes. Even though he wouldn't be playing regularly at Chelsea, he'd at least be able to strengthen relations with our key players of the future (e.g. Hazard, Oscar, Ramires).

We've only lost three times in the league (in the past 10 years) with Phil Dowd as referee We lost against United (A), Spurs (A) & Wigan (A).. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/chelsea-fc/schiedsrichterdetail/verein_631_384.html

So many posts about Alex Song...he's an average midfielder, just like Mikel What I mean is that he's not brilliant defensively or offensively.
-
I generally don't agree with your posts but this is so true
-
Other than that slip-up under Carlo...you would have to go all the way back to March, 2001 when they beat us 4-2 http://www.11v11.com/matches/chelsea-v-sunderland-17-march-2001-5899/

Good to see a solid second-half performance...when that early goal went in, I was fearing the worst. Essien was a bit rusty but he should be able to start the odd HOME game. JT scored against Spurs when we needed it, and he does it again against Southampton....it will be a sad day when JT has to hang up the boots
-
He did relatively well today It's good to see Torres running at defenders, going up for the headers He'll never be the finisher he was at LFC...but with a fixture pile-up, we need a confident Torres leading the line as best as he possibly can..

It's obvious that chemistry in real life isn't like FIFA...and I should know, as I worked as a professional youth coach at League 1/League 2 level. As for your fast food comment, I'm not sure how good or bad it tastes because I only eat fast food 2-3 times a year.... Your right it is time for some good old patience from the fans..but the bigger question is Roman willing to be patient?
-
I don't know why it's taking so long for Mourinho to settle on his starting XI... All this chop and change in terms of attacking midfielders ruins team chemistry and creates poor performances...

How much stronger has the Premier League actually got?
Reddish-Blue replied to Tomo's topic in Football Chat
The Premier League as a whole is stronger than before. However, the top teams are much weaker...and due to more spending, the smaller clubs are getting stronger. -
I agree that Piazon has been performing well this season...but in general, the Dutch clubs are fairly weak (other than Ajax).
-
What's all this fuss about Benitez? Sure, he said some awful things about Chelsea whilst he was the Liverpool manager...but that's in the past He got the caretaker job at Chelsea, helped the players win the Europa League, gave Aké a taste of first team football and then moved on with his managerial career at Napoli.
-
Intrigued to see Wanyama and Schneiderlin play against our midfield Schurrle MUST play and hope we get the victory
-
From what i've seen, Courtois is just as talented as Cech was at the same age.. Of course it's a risk in terms of replacing Cech..but tough calls have to be made Would you part ways with a club legend for a youngster capable of providing 10-15 years of top class service? In Jose I trust.
-
The standard for red cards is getting worse by the season... Strikers start diving with minimal contact and the ref rewards them by giving the opposing defender a red card...
-
I remember his ability as a youngster, United and Arsenal scouted him more than once at Sporting CP. Veloso won't off the radar after moving to Ukraine He's a good midfielder, has the skillset to play CM/DM and at 27, he's the perfect age
-
Would hate to see this guy end up in Barcelona.
-
Can he play in the pivot?
