http://www.calciomercato.com/news/roma-benatia-e-destro-non-giocano-e-sabatini-vola-a-londra-per-l-361063 I tried to translate some of the Italian into English and all I understood was that Destro to Tottenham is likely to be completed and Benatia to Chelsea "could" happen. Also, apparently Destro rejected Wolfsburg in favour of Tottenham (according to the article)

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28812168 Aston Villa sign Colombia's Carlos Sanchez
-
Yeh but Fabregas will get you the assists!
-
Decided to go with Fabregas, Diego Costa and Ramsey Hopefully Hazard doesn't play too well
-
Finally..some good news about McEachran Hope he impresses Mourinho (for a spot on the bench) or some other club's scout at Vitesse
-
Feel bad for Van Wolfswinkel, the guy has talent, can easily be a 15- goal a season striker in most leagues (should of stayed at Sporting Lisbon).

I think people on this forum were against the signing of Fabregas (me included) due to his 'history' with Lampard, rather than the fact that he's a former Arsenal player I mean, we signed Ashley Cole all those years ago and he turned out to be brilliant...at one point, he was the best LB in the world I don't mind players featuring for other clubs...but it hurts to see a club legend join a rival for 6 months
-
Yeh, I was thinking about Wickham because he offers something different to Bamford..and the added benefit is that he's homegrown. Absolutely agree about Solanke, kid looks promising, hopefully Jose has plans for him in the coming years

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/11/connor-wickham-west-ham-sunderland-bid Sunderland reject 5 million bid from West Ham for Wickham Maybe we should put in a bid for him? He's HG, 21, has the ability to play CF and out wide...
-
We'd be better off giving him a shorter-length contract. Something like 1 year with performance-related bonuses That way, if he stays fit and scores a few goals, we get productivity from our bench and he gets a nice bonus
-
Yes but if we sign Benatia...who would you sell/loan out to make room? The only viable option, IMO is Petr Cech (considering there is no interest in Mikel...and Torres is the only backup striker we have)
-
I agree that United will be unpredictable...but, unless they sign a quality CB and add some steel to their midfield (e.g. Vidal or even Nigel De Jong), I see them struggling to finish 4th this season
-
I don't think it's make or break for him. The only way I see him leaving Chelsea is if we sign a player like Pogba
-
http://soccerlens.com/marko-marin-arrives-for-fiorentina-medical/148803/ He should be announced as a Fiorentina player sooner rather than later
-
Maybe the best scenario for McEachran is a loan move to Vitesse His skill-set would suit that league and he would be able to develop with a bit more freedom in a league that is known to give youngsters a chance

http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football/first-team/detail/article/afellay-loaned-to-olympiakos Ibrahim Afellay joins Olympiakos on loan A few years ago, I thought he was the next big thing in world football
-
Best individual performance? He didn't even start that game (if we're talking about that 3-0 win in January)
-
http://www.rossoneriblog.com/2014/08/10/lopez-puts-pen-to-paper-signs-four-year-milan-contract/ Diego Lopez joins AC Milan (good move)
-
They still need another CB..maybe Virgil Van Dijk (Celtic) who can play CB or RB if needed
-
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/09082014-statement-fraser-forster-signing-1816904.aspx Southampton have signed Fraser Forster from Celtic Good move, apparently the fee was 10 million
-
if Torres goes, it'll be an awesome transfer window
-
Moses just isn't cut out to play regularly for a club like Chelsea He should move to a relegation-threatened PL team and play with freedom (like he did for Wigan)
-
To be honest, the spurs signings looked worse because neither AvB nor Sherwood knew what they were doing With Pochettino, it'll be interesting to see how Spurs progress this season...from what i've heard, he gets that little bit extra out of decent players
