  1. Parma was one of those clubs you immediately associated with Italian Football...sad way for this club to end
  2. All this talk about pathetic refereeing, campaign against Chelsea....maybe that's true BUT if you can't score more than 1 goal against a relegation opposition, how do you expect to win?
  3. You're actually comparing Cahill to Howedes? The difference between them is that Howedes wouldn't look out of place at any top european club....as for Cahill, he'd be lucky to be on the bench at other top clubs
  4. Freaking Salah...I really thought Fiorentina were gonna win that game
  5. As long as Cahill isn't in the starting XI, we should be fine
  6. That was 3 months ago, Schalke seem to be a bit more solid under Di Matteo right now
  7. Unlucky for PSG, had the opportunity to get the all important lead going into the second leg
  8. His career has been all but over since leaving Atletico.. Not sure why he joined United on loan
  9. Based on his raw abilities, which league would suit him the best? Bundesliga, French league, Spanish league?
  10. Talented youngster, could be a star with the right manager
  11. I just think we need an experienced 2nd striker in our squad...maybe someone like Luiz Adriano (Shakhtar) who is available on a free at the end of the season My only issue with Bamford is that he needs regular playing time...being 2nd/3rd choice at Chelsea won't really help his development
  12. Solanke isn't even ready for first team football and Bamford may not even make it at Chelsea With the striker options you mentioned, we'd be lucky to challenge for top 4 next season
  13. Hopefully you're wrong about United finishing in 3rd...they don't deserve to finish top 4 based on this season Would love to see who Van Gaal signs for United without UCL football
  14. PSG aren't that easy to beat..i'm expecting a 1-1 draw going into the second leg
  15. Terry, Hazard and Costa...can't separate them Just love the fact that we've managed to get rid of Torres and replace him with a thug like Costa
  16. Signing Milner would also help our Homegrown quota (but I doubt he'll sign for us)
  17. I don't think any club is stupid enough to pay 80 million for a player (other than Real Madrid)...and as a result, Reus won't break the transfer record He'll probably get 50 million from someone...maybe Manchester United if they finish top 4
  18. Looks like a top quality player in the making I don't really care if he's the next Desailly or not, as long as he works hard and becomes our starting CB in the coming years, I'll be happy
  19. It would have been wonderful to see Cech retire at Chelsea, brilliant keeper, stepped up when we needed it the most and for me, he'll be one of the four* legends of the past decade. *The other three legends: JT, Didier and Lampard I wish Cech all the best if/when he moves on
  20. You make good points but at the end of the day, Bamford isn't at Kane's level For me, Bamford is 2-3 years away from becoming a squad player at Chelsea
  21. Swansea didn't sell Bony because they needed cash....they sold him because he wanted to play in the UCL.
  22. Finally...Lambert gets sacked Will be interesting to see who gets the Villa job
  23. What an important goal in the title race
  24. I have to say well done to Spurs, they're reaping the benefits of putting their faith into a talented english youngster... Maybe someday one of our youngsters will get the chance to play regularly in the EPL
  25. He won't be as good as Shearer...as in, I doubt he will score 30+ goals in the EPL for three consecutive seasons like Shearer did at Blackburn.. However, he'll be a good striker if Tottenham know how to use him properly in the coming years..
