Lukaku was their best striker and Barcelona offered to waive the loan fee if Deulefou played in more than 50% of Everton's EPL matches I really wish we would only loan out players with guaranteed playing time
I just don't see Southampton finishing top 4, they'll probably finish 6th at best My prediction: Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Spurs/Liverpool Hopefully United miss out, would be great to see who Van Gaal manages to sign without UCL football
I don't think he can show any more in attack because he is not a naturally creative player. He's basically a jack of all trades but master of none type of midfielder
I was a youth development coach in the past and from what I've seen, Oscar is nothing more than a squad midfielder. He'll have some really good games and then he'll go missing in the second half of the season due to whatever reason I can see why Jose is keeping him in the team, he offers defensive cover for Cesc and he doesn't seem to be the type that complains
I don't think we need a natural #10...I'd rather invest that money into the CB position and sign a class defender capable of filling the gap left by JT
The issue is that Oscar's best performances have come against mid-table to relegation threatened EPL teams....he hasn't scored or assisted a single goal against a top 6 side this season Against the big teams, I would love to see: Hazard -- Willian -- Cuadrado
I'm not denying that Cahill did well last season..but that was more to do with the way Mourinho set up the team.. When we sit back, Cahill generally performs well..but when he is asked to play with a bit more risk/higher defensive line, he seems less secure and panicked as a defender. I'm just trying to say that Zouma has alot to learn and Cahill may not be the right player to use in a higher defensive line...signing a quality CB for next season wouldn't be a bad option for Chelsea...
I'm still left wondering what went wrong with Josh McEachran? He gets a chance under Ancelotti, wins young player of the year...and then goes on the typical loan merry-go around until one of the Championship/League 1 clubs decide to pay a fee for him
