why dnt we try fergusons method, he normally rotates by taking out the players off form. If nani loses form, he puts in young for some matches. When welbeck loses form, he uses hernandez, also anderson for cleverly. When the new people drop form, he then brings back the others who wil want to prove themselves. This wil make us change just two people anytime we face bottom half teams, and use our main lineup for top half teams. That's true. I kind of want to see the form of hazard at the begining of the season and I think we were playing him in the center since oscar wasn't in the team. That's a good analysis of messi, but the difference is that the whole barca team is built around him. The whole team prepares themselves when messi is on the ball and about 3 players always keep themselves available for a pass when messi starts his trademark runs. This always confuses the defender becos he is not sure whether messi is going to pass, or dribble more or shoot. But with chelsea, if hazard is dribbling, u rarely see people open up for him, or make runs(mata does a few times and u see the one twos between them) This make the defender more focused that hazard wants to dribble only and its easier to defend than messi's situation. If we try to play to hazard strengths and make runs while he dribbles, you will see why messi is different in argentina but better in barcelona.

I understand u, its like how germany prefer klose to gomez. But here in chelsea we need a goalscorer that will put the ball at the back of the net. Neymar misses a lot of chances, falcao will take them.

I remember making a thread of how torres makes things complicated by not movin, but I was slayed by a few that his movement creates space for mata and hazard, and I'm like they can't be serious. He makes runs everywhere else but in the box(when its the most important.). When we all finally realised it was that goal sturridge scored instead of torres against totenham. Out torres, in falcao We need a vanpersie(match winner) and not another kalou.

Fellani is more of a CAM than a CM/DM . We have enough CAM's. I rarely see him make a tackle and win possesion from deep for his team. We are only over the top for him because of his height. We need a (scholes, modric, pirlo, yayatoure, schwienstiger, xabialonso, benat) a deep defensive playmaker to ease the pressure from mazacar when they are marked. And we all know mikel and ramires can't play defence splitting passes from deep. Answer = fernadinho(plays like yayatoure)

We already have enough people for the other positions fellani can play, unless he is a striker too. But we saw first hand the killer passes and drives that fernadinho did against us. Who did that remind me of? Only the best dm in the league- yayatoure I don't see fellani as a tackler to intercept balls, that is also important in the pivot position. Fernadinho is better here. The only thing fellani has better than fernadinho is age(24-27) and height. Fernadinho is a better tackler, long range passer, shooting from distance, runner like yaya, energy. Fernadinho clearly wins this bout.

I'm not sure of fellani in the pivot, but I know this season he has been playing behind the striker(jelavic). Long balls from the keeper reaches him and he finds a pass from there. But fernadinho gave defence splitting passes FROM DEEP against us. And also made some TACKLES against us. I think fellani is in more form this season because he plays higher up than last season. But he would still be my second choice to fernadinho though.

I think this november/december slump we have recently is because of tiredness. The way to fix this is to rotate the players like ferguson. By playing pple on form(moses) and giving others enough substitute time to make an impact(sturridge, marin) We have to adopt the system that ferguson uses to avoid long bad spells like we are havin now. I remember when ferguson dropped rooney earlier this season, bcos he was playing badly and now he has fit into the team. He is now bringing on hernandez and his time on the bench has spured him to play better. Our usual november slumps is due to tiredness, we need to rotate now more than ever.

Nobody should bash RDM till he has a complete squad. To be fair on him, the manchester clubs have one thing we lack in our team. Abundance of strikers. And a dm that is a very good foward passer.(Scholes, toure) People who can come in and rescue the team with small motivation from the manager. Until we sign falcao, cavani or lewandoski then I can reserve my bashing a little. The minor problems RDM has are 1. He doesn't try to make a substitution early enough to impact the game before its too late. 2. He doesn't attempt new things so that he can fix obvious problems(torres). Maybe trying moses who doesn't lose the ball upfront instead of torres won't hurt us. 3. The way we play doesn't look like we practice movement in training but it looks like we just wait for our playmakers to do magic. This affects us when the playmakers have an average day and we don't have anyone(drogba) to turn up to bail us out. He takes time to realise his errors like the ramires in the wing so maybe some more time and he will fix it.

I wish he could. How I have missed a striker that could make the opponents fear. Torres has lost his fear factor and defenders feel so confident of owning torres. If drogba was here his presence alone would create spaces and chances for the team.
