I think its because they know mata more, but if we are to unlock our full potential, then they all have to get better teamwork.

We played much better in the 2nd half. Shaktar are a good team, they can beat anyone in the premier league on their day. We actually crossed a lot more in this game and this mixed up our attack, makin it a little unpredictable. Instead of only going through the middle. How I wish we could learn to put in low crosses like them. And oscar makin late lampard runs to score. Torres had only one shot, poor. Luiz, I was scared anytime he was near the ball or touched the ball. There is something I noticed, the team prefers to play one twos with only mata, but when oscar passes and makes the run, he rarely gets the return pass. I think we should be more fluid with everyone and not just mata.

Falcao is the best striker in the 18 yard box. When the ball is with him there, he knows what to do more dan anyone. But cavani can rotate with our players, just like he did with hamsik and lavezi, and still score goals. Cavani also plays anywhere across the strikers just like in uruguay. I watched his movement when napoli played against us and he was magnificent, he alerts his teammates exactly where he wants the ball, not shy of shouting. he is also a large striker of drogba's size so it is easy for poor passers like luiz and ramires to find him with ease. Peter cech also is scared to pass from the back and normally hits long balls. Cavani is large and will win more aerial balls for sure. Falcao is a better finisher, but cavani's finishing is no joke, make no mistake about it. Cavani can also help in defending corners, freekicks just as drogba. Especially as right now we have a lot of short pple in our team. Overall I know falcao will solve the problem of torres allowing defenders to catch up to him when put through on goal and finishing chances. But I think I want cavani more, he looks more complete and would solve our problems more

Our worst peformance since qpr.... Terrible, no tempo through out the game..... I can't believe mata has this much influence. Oscar, hazard = average without mata Torres was shit, RDM should have removed him instead of moses. Were not on top anymore... Bullshit...

This is getting bad. If refs are talking about boycotting our games, what if they are talking about a witchhunt too. It would be bad if in a lot of matches, the refs start getting too strict on us.

Sturridge was selfish at times, but he held the ball a lot better than torres. I learnt he completed 50/56 of his passes. Its a relief to have a match where our opponents are not guaranteed a counter attack everytime the striker touches the ball. Sturridge needs to improve his decision making, maybe he can take shots and be a little stingy during build up play but should have more teamwork at counters, hazard is a perfect example. Moses was a beast Azpicueta was very good defending, it was so difficult beating him on a one on one, or even crossing from his flank. He also seems to like crossing, that's good. I like a player that the rest of the team knows what they get from him and understand well. Luiz scares me everytime he is on the ball, a tickin time bomb. (Ramires-oscar) was nice to see, oscar played like scholes for us. It would be marvelous if we can turn him into a pirlo type player. Ramires is a beast. Mata was tired. Hazard's assist was even better than the one he gave mata against tottenham. Loved his celebration. Piazon was lost, never involved. Thank goodness we won. In my opinion, sturridge is stronger/hungrier than torres on the ball and has a far better first touch. So I know that at least he can hold up the ball better than torres. Sturridge should come in early in the second half against manchester, so that we don't waste the whole game hopin that torres comes good. I think his(sturridge) speed and the runs he makes will hurt man utd. And his style of play is perfect for mata through balls. At least he will also test the keeper even if his finishing may not be better than torres but I know he will shoot at the very least, rather than being disspossesed. I saw a post of zola saying that toress doesn't love chelsea like he did at liverpool. Maybe that's what he's lacking but he is just an average striker at the level of welbeck in my opinion.

We need to watch out for their crossing and cornerkicks. Manchester utd scored 2 corners against newcastle, 4 crosses against stoke, and in the champions league 2 crosses and a cornerkick goal. It is very clear that is their main form of attack. We have to seriously up our game in defending deadballs and crosses into the box. We will definately score two goals at least, their defence is no where safe. So if we are a little more tactically sound at the back, we can win this.

The whole team played average so similar ratings deserved unless you saw someone spectacular except cech and mikel, I wuld like u to mention pls. Oscar was supposed to be better rated but I can't get past the poor first half he had, he was the worst on the pitch in the first half along with torres. If u didn't notice his misplaced passes then I'm confused. Oscar stepped up in the 2nd half but his terrible first half brought down his rating. I understand u said that hazard didn't play for the team, but he was actually more threatning than any other person. And oscar lost more passes in the first half than hazard.

Why I blamed torres like that was because of how he fell down and lost posession. That will make any team not be able to build up play better. And he also has never bailed us out in any match this season except arsenal. Hazard took responsibility in our first few games, oscar took responsibility at juventus, mata took responsibility in 6 other games. But never torres, he should take the burden off mata once in a while that's what's frustrating.

Nope The whole team bar cech was average. Didn't just see anything. Ramires probably was the only one I misjudged but we let them have 16 shots and 10 on target and so he cannot avoid critisizm. Didn't overate any one, I gave oscar a six because he was a 3 in the first half, he misplaced so many passes. Mata was no where to be found Hazard made a mistake for the goal but he was our only threat up front the other three(torres mata oscar) were invisible at doing their jobs(attackin), except oscar in the 2nd half so they got the right ratings.

I know they played a smaller team, I'm just not confident our defence can hold out both rvp and rooney. I'm not confident torres can score the chances he gets in this match. You can see how we are bad in the air and at setpieces, guess what, that's man utd's strongest way of attack. I'm not making them look better than us, its just that our weakness is their strength much like us against barcelona last season. If we play more patiently instead of panicking and losing posession like yesterday, maybe we can win. But torres must be punished for yesterday's peformance by being dropped.

Chelsea's weaknesses so far 1. We are easily beat in the air at set pieces 2. We always have a 10mins lapse in concentration in every match 3. Crosses easily enter our 18yard box 4. We don't have wide attackers who can track back and defend frequently especially during counter attacks 5. Our striker loses the ball which stops our attack and causes a counter attck for the opposition. Man utd strengths 1. They cross all the time and score a lot from them 2. They score a lot from setpieces this season 3. They have a period in the game where they pressurize non-stop for about 10-15mins 4. They are quick on the counter. 5. They have the best strikers in the league (rvp, rooney) I'm sorry but I just can't see us winning this game. We both have bad defences but they have the better finishers. And worst of all, our weakness is their strength. RDM doesn't have the balls to tell torres to sit, after that bulshit peformance. So we r screwed. On the positive side 1. We are at the bridge, so we have home advantage 2. We have found out our weakness against shaktar, so maybe we can correct them in time. Chelsea please suprise me with a win.

The main problem yesterday was that after their first goal, chelsea started rushing our build up play and ended up losing the ball quickly. Ramires then had to run back and make a tackle. But because of the rushed passes foward, instead of being patient like against totenham, ramires moved forward too early at times(like how lampard usually did) which made him need to come back for the tackle. But bcos of his pace, he could cover that weakness. But the blame was really how we were rushing foward, I wish we could have been more patient in our build up and force them to leave spaces and make mistakes in their defence. An example was the barcelona winner against celtic. They passed slowly till they got the chance to score instead of risking loosing the posession.

I can't believe we were outplayed like this. Everyone except cech had a bad or average day. Cech - 9: saved 3-4 goals Ivanovic- 6: nice assist but got a 6 becos lost more of the ball Terry - 4 horrible for the 2nd goal, too slow for my liking Luiz- 5 could have slid in to prevent the 2nd goal Cole-6 average peformance Mikel - 7 our only better player, on the pitch Ramires-6 average, confused in his positioning sometimes Oscar - 6- Horrible first half, was one of the worst players on the pitch in the first half.
