You are probably right, manu lost to tottenham because of 3 slow players that bale took to athletism class. But I would give anything for lampard to score a winner. I was really pleased with his movement. He now has eye contact with his teammates before making his runs behind the defence. Making them understand the kind of pass he is looking for. I was really glad on how he was determined to get ahead of the defender and head the ball in the net. Previous games he will be outside the box or in the wings, but he attacked it this time. His hold up play was even better as he didn't lose the ball too much today like most games this season. He didn't dribble stupidly so I was so glad, he even passed quickly to hazard and ran foward for the return but the keeper saved. All that was left is his finishing, he needs to finish one on ones. He may not get 3 chances against the big teams so he must score when put through with the keeper. David villa will teach him during the international break :smile:

You're right. We've gotten better. And I think it was since the juve game when oscar came into the mix. Chelsea changed. His high pressing and energy is just a major plus in balancing the attack and defence. He makes hazard and especially mata a far better player. Taking the defensive pressure off mata. Remember at the 70th minute was around when oscar got of injured. His pressing was missed and we couldn't take the ball off them quickly again. The same with arsenal, oscar pressed arteta into losing possesion. Since he started playing our possesion has greatly improved even the chances we give away are lower.

You have to train with david villa and soldaldo on how to finish one on one chances with the keeper. your next missed chance against manutd or tottenham might be the only clear chance we get. Please beg david villa to teach u how to finish keepers in this international break

Great game today, could have had four assists today if torres and mata scored their one on ones, or the ref gave our penalties. Had a few quiet games and i'm glad he's exploded again especially in the 2nd half. Brilliant peformance

Finally having good movement, its about time. He still loses the ball but its reduced in his last few games. But his one on one finishing is just horrible, he's missed 4 one on ones in the last 3 games. if he can't finish those who does he expect to finish them. I'm only glad with his movement and better positioning in the center.
