I agree with you, i just cant believe he has even lost his ball control. I swear i can trap the ball better than torres, he looks like he wants to fall everytime the ball is on him.

When he dribbles past one, he should pass the ball. Thats his problem, it looks like he has desire but he fucks it up in the end. Did you see how quaggurella made the run to score chelsea for the second goal? Torres has never done that since he missed that open goal against manchester united. That is the only way for smaller strikers to create chances, making runs behind defenders. Torres just stands straight and expects the ball to come, the only runs he makes are to the wings so how can he score?

Its so annoying. I play football too so i know what im talking about. I see how torres moves and as an attacking midfielder i will be confused on how he plays. Not even mata could unlock his scoring potential so i dont see any other person except iniesta that can help torres score at this moment

I want azupulleta to start but ivanovic is needed for his height Lampard needs a rest, i dont want him to tire out he's 34 Oscar must start, he needs the confidence for juventus peformance Moses is stronger than ramires and a better crosser and dribbler Torres will start(sadly) but sturridge needs his chance, his speed will trouble stoke on the counter especially with oscar behind him. On the bright side in this match, lampard had a better game than qpr. I felt it was because at times we looked like we were playing 4-3-3 with ramires, lampard and mikel in the middle. Im not bashing luiz, i just dont like his attitude of trying to dribble forward. Because juve didnt capitalize on that just like mikel doesnt mean he should continue that. Im sure you watched last seasons matches with both terry and cahill playing. We were so dominant in defence and now we dont even want to consider it again.

First goal took a favorable touch but the second goal was, mwah! beautiful, goal of beauty, rounded pirlo and gave buffon 0 chance. He also did a lovely job of keeping pirlo quiet, the minute he came off pirlo had more breathing room. I would have given him a solid A or A+ Ramires is no winger, while his turn of pace was good for some instances in the match once he gets into that final third he does not deliver, he does not cross overly well and his shot leaves something to be desired. Is this not why we got Moses, I just do not understand di matteo's insistence on either using Ramires on the wing or Bertrand. I just don't know what Robby sees in Bertrand, when he came on, chelsea lost control of the match. Cahill needs to start more often. I feel much much more confident about our defense when Cahill and Terry start. Cahill does not seem to have those lapses in concentration that Luiz has and he always seems to be keen not to let one in. At times in the match Luiz was either going after balls he had no chance of winning or just switched off. I really wish Cahill would play alongside Terry more often. They were outstanding last season playing together. Also, why in Heaven's name did we get Cesar if we are not going to use him? If Azpilicueta was played that would allow Ivanovic to play his natural role as a CB. Ivanovic rarely goes foward to help attack and made hazard look bad on the right. After selling both essien and meriles, i have no answer to how we resolve the double pivot unless we change to 4-3-3. Sigh, hope RDM makes some changes and at least starts Oscar and or Moses alongside Mata and Hazard. Hopefully we can return to winning ways against Stoke.

I told you all that oscar is good enough to start..... he benches both ganso and lucas moura and is as good as mata and even a better finisher. He should start every game for this peformance, maybe it will knock some sense into poor peformers. Mikel is just a fish, why did he give a stupid pass like that? Hazard played well. Torres has a terrible ball control and no strength or desire to win balls. I wouldnt mind seeing moses or sturridge in attack because torres loses the ball too much and spoils the link up play. This gives the opposition the ball easily. Why dimatteo thinks ramires is a right winger is beyond me. He cannot cross or make the right decision at the right time. The main criticism is for roberto dimatteo and not lampard. Lampard has played as an attacking or central midfield all his life and is not clearly suited for this role. Its like telling ozil to play in defensive midfield when he is not used to it. He will always go foward and leave spaces at the back, which good teams like athletico and juve will exploit. The only way chelsea can develop a true system is to play lampard in attacking midfield where he belongs or change back to ancelloti's 4-3-3 with lampard and oscar in CM roles. That is what dimatteo is not doing. He is not trying to find a system to develop our play. The first time he tried it was in the last 10mins against qpr. Before we started bossing them. If qpr holds 55% possesion against us then against mancity what will happen? 80%

its really not lampards fault that he is playing bad. 1. He is not a defensive midfielder and is told to play there by dimatteo 2. He is tired from those international games in a short time The solution is to use lampard as the attacking midfielder in big games(because of his experience and his true position is attacking) and use him as a substitute in small games. The real problem here is roberto di matteo's team selections. teams that use the 4-2-3-1 successfully are bayern munich, madrid and mancity. bayern munich have schweinstiger-gustavo robben-muller-ribery gomez madrid have xabi alonso-khedira dimaria-ozil-ronaldo higuain mancity have yaya toure-rodwell silva-tevez-nasri aguero the simillarities are that 1. they all have a long range passer in schweinstiger or alonso or yaya 2. the three behind the striker are ALL ATTACK MINDED. 1. We dont have any long range passer 2. we have a box to box player like khedira and yayatoure (ramires) 3. You are perfectly right, lampard is too attack minded to play there. he will fit better at the attacking midfield. 4.
