Absolutely delighted when I heard this news the other day. Having him back will be like signing a £30m+ player. He's the complete package and have everything the modern day footballer needs to be considered one of the best. This could be the best signing we'll make this summer.

I couldnt give a toss either way. I from N.Ireland so support N.Ireland. I watch England games with interest for two reasons. 1. It was on TV over here when I was growing up and you got to know more about the players than you would from the Irish League which is tbh....shite 2. FFS Joe.....The Gooners ????? I've always liked Joe Cole, but he's went right down in my estimation. His contract demands werent met imo as he wasnt in top form and the offer put to him mirrored his performances of late. He could have even tried to agree on an extension with a view to an increase if his performances improved. His love for Chelsea obviously wasnt as strong as he claimed it was.

:ballack: Yes I'd like us to win the CL, but if we should take anything from the past it shows that you need a bit of luck to win it. You dont need luck to win the League Title, you need consistency. One dodgy decision in the CL and you're fucked.

Eto'o was deemed not good enough for Barca nad he just picked up another CL Winners medal I wouldnt rule out signing anyone atm. I agree we should try and avoid signing African players for the reasons already mentioned. Its more hassle than its worth.

I like the idea of getting him. When you think back to when we signed Lampard all those years ago there was alot of doubt about him being able to hack it at Chelsea, but if I'm honest, I think Milner is a better player than the Lampard we signed from West Ham. He scores goals, has bundles of energy and who knows....he could end up replacing Lampard when he finally decides to call it a day. A midfield with Essien, Lampard and Milner would have so much drive its scary.

I suggested something simmilar a while back......a virtual bookies. There's a code for forums to add this, I'm not sure if its compatable or not for this forum though.

The only thing holding Lampard back from being truely recognised is a CL winners medal.

I got the impression Hutchinson,Stoch and few of the other kids were on the bus. JT was interviewed and when mentioning their names he turned and pointed in the direction I assume they were.

Did I ? Hiddink was here for a few months and all he done imo was brought a togetherness to the squad that was shot to pieces under Scolari. Ancelotti brought in 3 players who have made little impact this season in Turnbull, Zhirkov and Sturridge. So he's basically working with the same players Hiddink and Scolari had before him. I'm not undermining what Hiddink done for Chelsea during his short spell, what I do think is that you're giving him too much credit and undermining what Ancelotti has achieved. Ancelotti is not a fresh face as far as managers are concerned. He's been there and got the t-shirt several times.

Simple answer....No. But there's a difference between City of now and Chelsea pre-Mourinho. We were winning trophies every other year before he arrived. City havent won anything worth talking about for 30 odd years.

Drogba and Anelka are our two best strikers, so the chances of them playing together is pretty high. It was common knowledge when we signed Ivanovic that he can and has played RB at his previous clubs and the national team. As for Malouda, I think its just a case o him finding his feet at Chelsea rather than Hiddink unearthing his talent. This season is all about Ancelotti. If you use your logic, you could say that Ranieri made Mourinhos job easier by already putting together a pretty decent side for him to work with.
