The massive wages came from buying big name players to allow us to make thatstep up the ladder to compete with Manu and Arsenal for the title. Now that we are there, we can afford to keep a core of "big name players" and mix it with our own academy players and get to the target of being self sufficient. If and when the time comes to buy a new player,we can aim for an up and coming player who'll be on decent wages, but not atronomical wages that we can keep within our wage budget. The more I think about this, the more I see it as a simple case of getting our act together. We've spent too long spending money for the sake of it.

For talk sake....even if he did decide to call it a day, the club will not go into freefall as some are saying. He'll have left a club in very good shape. We'll still be one of the big hitters in europeand will continue to attract top players. We could end up with another multi billionaire taking over with more money that Abramovich. If Chelsea came on the market those arabs would be taking hits out on each other to gain control of a club with Chelseas current standing in football.

I doubt he'd want to return as an academy coach or a similar role. He's picked up enough experience during his time as a No2 with some of the best managers football has to offer. He'll use that experience to make a name for himself as a top manager.

Any team spending big money on players is going to be a threat, but I'll wait to see how they gel together and what we and the other top sides do before I would be concerned about them.

Like any player coming in he'll get my support. He's the sort of player who can come off the bench and make an immediate impact. I dont think he'll be a regular starter. He'll be a decent addition to the squad.

He's more of a midfielder, plus he didnt score for fun in the Dutch leagues and he wasnt exactly prolific for us either. Yes he's a cracking player and if anything he's playing the best football of his career right now. We didnt get the best out of Robben as when he was with us he seemed to be made out of balsa wood.

Ever since we signed Kezman I wonder about players who score for fun in the Dutch leagues. Jon Dahl Thomasson and Huntelaar are two others who have failed to live up to their reputation when they ventured to pastures new. The only one I can think of who's carried on his form was Van Horseface.

Ashley Cole has been excellent and by far Englands best player to date. The Portuguese left back has been cracking too, He's been bombing up the flanks and has pace to burn. his name eludes me right now.

I'd like to see the money being donated to a charity of some sort which helps with drug addiction. It would be a great gesture and would show the club in good light instead of taking it and putting it straight into a transfer kitty. Its not like we really need the money now is it ?

I'm pretty pissed off about this. We've been crying out for someone who could run at defenders since Robben and Duff, Stoch could and should have been the player to at least add some width to our attack and wreck havoc on the EPL. I thought he more than proved he was able by playing such an important role for FC Twente last season. It doesnt exactly put out the right vibes for other youth players as they'll believe that no matter how good you are you wont get a chance at Chelsea. WTF is going on with this club ?

Thats the main reason I havent been on much of late. Since the upgrade everything is dragging its arse.
