Lets not kid ourselves. Pre season has been a big disappointment. We need to go out today and get 3 points no matter what. A good start to the season is vital imo. We've a run of 5 games where we would normally be expected to win with ease. I'm pretty confident that once we get those 5 games out of the way we'll be playing alot better. Dont care what the score is today as long as we win.

ANCELOTTI OUT FFS guys relax....We've only had half a pre-season compared to most teams. The season begins next week. We've 5 games in a row where we should take maximum points to get into the groove.

Slight over reaction ? I'm one of the first to slag Hilario, but I cant fault him for any of those goals today, especially the third. He done what a keeper is supposed to do. Come out and cut down the angle. Had he stayed on his line it would have gave too much room for Berbatov to slot it either side. Thats a sort of situation where you're damned if you do and damned if you dont. Overall I thought we played alot better in the second half and should have been at least level. The difference was clinical finishing. We didnt take our chances.

Slightly biased here ....but I love this being belted out at Rangers games. We could adapt it for ourselves. eg....We are Englands Champions/ Super Chelsea Champions/ Stand up for the Champions

Looking forward to todays game as it'll be good to get back into the old routine. I'm not filled with much hope knowing that Hilario will be in goal. No harm to him, but he's an absolute bombscare. If we lose a few goals due to him I wouldnt be surprised. I'd be telling the defence to put the ball into row Z before knocking it back to Hilario to hit a daisy cutter 10 yards up the pitch or scuff it out for a throw in. I know its a nothing game, but I hate Manu with a passion and we need to get off to a good start. Our form till now is nothing short of woefull. Am I expecting us to win today ? No.

Its better to get these defeats out of the way now when they dont matter. Even Sundays game doesnt matter that much, but its always nice to put a marker down for the start of the season.

I dont get all the hype about Aguero tbh. A talented player yes, but value for money ?

At the end of the day, Carlo has a vision on how he'd like us to play. Joe cole didnt fit into that vision. I dont have a problem with it. I suppose it sheds light on Joe Coles comments as to why he was leaving was due to "politics". They just didnt see eye to eye on how he would fit into Carlos plans. This is a new era for Chelsea and Carlo is beginning to stamp his authority on the team.

I think this will be a cracking signing. Going from him WC performances, he seems happy enough just sitting in front of the defence. Playing alongside Essien will give Lampard that freedom to get forward and do what he does best. Malouda and Ash down the left, Bosingwa and Benayoun on the right. Drogba battering the bejesus out of defences up and down the country. I cant wait to see it all fall together. Bring on the Red Shite :blue scalf:

Hilario should have never came anywhere near Carvalho for that ball. Riccy should have just stuck it into the stand... safety first, avoid Hilario at all costs.
