Agree with this 100% - ever since Didier left, we've struggled in the final 3rd... The problem we had over the past few seasons (and still now to a degree) is that we leak easy goals. I think JM is trying to get a solid platform on which to build on - and that's proving tougher than his last time here - so we cannot focus on attack enough. Whichever way we paint it - without JT our defence is awful. I still think rather than Luiz it would be best to play Ivanovic in central role. Move Azpi to RB and Cole as LB (not sure what Cole has done to remain on the bench)... As always with our system we lack true width - we need to define and work on those roles - Hazard/Willian should start wide and then come in, or stay wide, depending on the situation in front of them - too often we are converging in a 10 yard space and that's easy to defend against. Missing a striker (a decent one) is really hurting us - I'm prepared to wait until next season to see the REAL playing style JM wants to adopt - as this season seems a lot of square pegs in round holes.... So disappointment, tinged with reality and underpinned by hope of a good summer and excitement at next season.. May the little horse grow big...

We are a little horse remember??? I think back to the past 3 seasons - am I happier now - YES WE are building something for the future - we have seen glimpses of it and like a crack addict we want more!!! Patience is what's needed. So we lost. Big deal. The lads were outplayed - doesn't happen much to us - so if/when it does, just goes down as a that's life moment. Do I think this will happen next year? Or the year after - NO! It takes time to instil a winning mentality in players - it's a long process and some never make it... Do I expect changes in the summer? YES Why? Because some players cannot cope with the system and Jose is learning 24/7 If we can do well in the EPL and not get embarrassed in the CL - will this season be a success? YES You gotta look at where you travelled from, to know where you are travelling to! We're halfway (ish) down a long road... Lets give it a few more miles before we chuck in the towel... It's a Marathon not a sprint... My 2p worth

Oscar needs a rest... He's still a young lad. I think people forget that! When Hazard was playing shit, Oscar was on fire... I don't mind that -because at some point BOTH will be on fire and then teams best watch out! He is also now playing in a different way - it took Hazard time to adapt and will take Oscar time too. I'm a little saddened at the backlash against him - he doesn't deserve it and gives 110% every game - I will ALWAYS respect him for that...

I agree with Ollie The EPL is weird this year top 4 clubs could be challenging for the title and everybody from 11th down could be sucked into relegation battle.. Conclusion = no easy games It's better (easier) if the bottom 3 are adrift of 17th - as other teams start to relax... Oh well - a game at a time

I didn't catch the game - waiting for highlights - but the reaction on here is good to see. Now - if we draw or lose in the future - I want to see the same positivity about what Jose is building, not everything is shit... We all know we are 1 Striker away from an almost perfect (ish) squad, so like Jose I'm keeping realistic. BUT if we do pull it off this season what a Masterclass!!!! Probably a bit harsh Think people are trying to work out Luiz's long term prospects I'm glad for once we have healthy FORM based competition and people aren't an automatic shoo-in because that makes players hungry I think it's way too early to see and judge Mourinhos plans - as a team we are more consistent now and I like that. Luiz will get his chance to impress
