LOL he's not lazy - check his OPTA stats... It appears as tho he is lazy, but he is a very clever 'runner' into channels and taking defenders away... His first touch is amazing, probably one of the best in the world - go back check some YouTube of him when he played for the Spuds... We should definitely get him on-board... 2yr contract with a release clause @ 18 months for both-sides...

No way is Sturridge DEAD WEIGHT. Yes, he is frustrating sometimes - but that's youthful inexperience and trying to impress so much, that he gets a permanent starting place. Did you watch him in the EUROs? Played REALLY well, not SELFISH either... How about you go watch the highlights and see what he's like when he's not playing out of position or constantly being sidelined... Then maybe you might post something useful... Moses gives us out + out width and I'd start him immediately - he hugs the touchline - perfect for what we need - him + Marin on each flank will leave plenty of space for our Striker + CAM to exploit. Yup - it's a hard role to play though and get any thanks... How I see that role is the same as 'IT Support' - everything works, nobody knows you exist, the minute it breaks you are slagged off until it's working and again nobody knows you exist... We would need a massive change in our playing style - we would need to be more like Spain - and Neymar would sit at the top of that ala Fabregas, but he wouldn't be dealing with long balls from defence - it would need to be quick movement, passing and link-up play. I personally dont see it as likely, but City have got it working for Aguero - so we could if needed... I'd personally be happy with Cavani though - but again, worried sick about buying another striker that flops, so wouldn't mind Berba or someone proven

I think it's unfair to label him 'Selfish' per se. He gets some cameo roles and tries to prove everything in those few minutes. For TeamGB he wasn't selfish at all and played really well... I think it's frustration, he wants to prove he is the best - so tries too hard.

I'm still not sure where this hate for Mikel against Reading comes from? Admittedly, I only watched the highlights - but he looked to be playing really well - and much more adventurous! Isn't that what everybody wanted? The poor lad cannot win. I was critical of him during pre-season, but he seems to have improved in PL and will just keep getting better - he has the ability to be the new Essien, he just needs some belief and forgiving fans...

Agreed, just watched the highlights and he did well. Dont forget when he runs, he pulls away defenders, which creates space for our other players - I'm not sure how many of you have played football, but @ Uni we had a 'Preston' (12 yrs ago) player in our team - and he could create amazing space by taking 2 defenders with him, wherever he went on the field. I think we should give him 10 games - then see where we are at... If Ramires would have passed to him, could have been a whole different game - I think that shit needs to stop though, he needs to just get on with it rather than sulk...

Winning is all that matters! Coulda, shoulda, woulda is fine, the players can only challenge what's in front of them. Personally I don't give a shit about how great our football is - look at Arsenal, won fuck all... We won, sure there are a few issues, but we won! As long as we keep winning I'm happy, the squad will be happy and that's a self fulfilling prophecy (newcastle last year)... Our big test this weekend, but I expect nothing less than a hard fought win...

The reason QPR are doing a City - is because Mark Hughes ONLY knows how to do that. Sure 'Sparky' was a great player for us - but as a manager, never convinced with his transfer policy - it's almost as bad as mine on XPERT 11 - simply trying to get by... I hope they do stay up though - and stop Spurs having the Olympic Stadium - once that's happened, dont care if they get relegated.
