That's a new low for the Spuds! Anybody and I mean Anybody that sacks somebody before Xmas is a genuine cunt in my eyes... Leave it till the New Year! Christmas is about hope, family and celebration! January would have been fine, look at their fixtures over Xmas - even if I was manager I could grab some points...

I will judge Mourinho next season. He has inherited a real mixture of players - he needs a solid appraisal of them and that can only be given over time. It's easy to look good occasionally, he needs to know how the players perform when the going gets tough, who will stand up and be counted and who will hide or make excuses. It's unfair to expect too much this season and I said that from the start... If we get CL next season and a cup or Final - I'm happy... You might think I'm under-believing, but at 37, I know Rome wasn't built in a day and after so many managers and signings, it's gonna be hard to stamp an identity and brand of football on the team, as well as instilling a 'mental belief of winners' - lets see how Arsenal cope for the rest of the season... We could do better than what would make me happy, but we have some serious issues in midfield and they won't be solved in Jan. We need Modric or somebody like him. Then we have the middle and both wings as threats to opposition defence. At present we are limited to just wing - easy to defend against. It's not Torres, BA or anybody else's fault - those guys run and try for 90 minutes - the shape and style of play is still not there! Disagree as much as you want just my opinion

I do feel sorry for AVB. Wasn't his biggest fan but this is farcical. Levy and his Director of Football should go - never understood that approach, they trust a manager to play the team, do the training etc - but they cannot buy players? WTF? Rumours where Levy pissed at AVB NOT PLAYING Lamela and Adebayour (sound familiar?) Lamela has looked poor and would benefit from a loan spell. They paid more than we paid for Hazard/Oscar - wow! We thought we had too many midfielders but Spurs are a joke Those people saying sign Capoue - he looked garbage yesterday? Yes I know he was in defence, but his passing was shocking! Not the answer!! And Paulinho? Fuck me he makes Mikel look like Ronaldo (not slating Mikel!) How many times does it have to be said - there are NO EASY games in the EPL. Anybody can beat Anybody on the day. Our opponents are super motivated to beat us - we have to fight hard every game just to be on the pitch. Sure the performance wasn't breathtaking - but the lads battled it out an won! This is a hard skill to learn and this Chelsea team needs to learn it and fast. This is what future's are built on, hard work, guts, determination and belief. Have you been following Sunderland under ex blues man Gus Poyet? They have gone from relegation fodder under DiCanio to a hard working, well disciplined side - it won't be an easy match. They are on the up - and we are a little inconsistent. If we get the first goal - we should kick on and win - but if they grab an early lead it might be a tough game resulting in a draw. Gus will be motivating his players massively, could even be a Red Card in this game... Look at Hull vs Liverpool last weekend? The EPL offers no easy games - that's why the league generates the most money globally - every game is hard to call. So this air of 3 points and clean sheet is bordering on delusional... It's a war, we have to fight every battle and I'm with WeHateScouse - scrappy 1-0 win will do...

Oscar is just as good though... I would have Oscar, Schurrle and Mata at the moment - think Hazard is behind them 3 in consistency so far this season... Hopefully as other Belgians have said - he gets better in the 2nd half of the season!!

Finally we have a PLAN B that works I remember moaning non-stop about this under RdM and FSW - but that was good. @Toronto - think you're being a bit harsh, Jose couldn't predict that we would lose a goal that early on and Essien was a great player and he used him at RM plenty. Him bringing on Lamps (who needs a rest midweek) was a good choice and then he changed the way we played in 2nd half. I guess we will never know the original game plan - seeing as we hit the self destruct button
