I didn't catch the game - waiting for highlights - but the reaction on here is good to see. Now - if we draw or lose in the future - I want to see the same positivity about what Jose is building, not everything is shit... We all know we are 1 Striker away from an almost perfect (ish) squad, so like Jose I'm keeping realistic. BUT if we do pull it off this season what a Masterclass!!!! Probably a bit harsh Think people are trying to work out Luiz's long term prospects I'm glad for once we have healthy FORM based competition and people aren't an automatic shoo-in because that makes players hungry I think it's way too early to see and judge Mourinhos plans - as a team we are more consistent now and I like that. Ramires is under rated - sure he has problems, but who doesn't? He's scored lots of important goals and his bursts from midfield really fuck up the opposition defence. Him + Matic will be great

The problem with strikers is that they always look good at another club - is that club set up for them? Adaptability is what you need in a strike force. Our stance is now counter attack - so the striker would need pace, power and positioning... A younger Etoo type player would be ideal. I think we should have picked up Loic Remy - he could do a job Also a 50million price tag is lots of added pressure... Cavanni I'm not so sure - why is he sidelined at PSG? We don't need another 50 million sulker So nope not in favour - would rather train a younger guy to play how we want them to play...

You are forgetting they have Barcelona 3 days later - they WILL have to rest some players... I think CL is what City crave, like us until Munich - so you know they will have to focus on that game. It's not one single thing that gives you the edge, it's loads of tiny things all culminating together - and this could be an ideal opportunity for us to exploit a slightly weaker team on the day. Also it's our dream counter-attacking ground, as they are so used to winning, they will push up and leave space - Hazard and Willian will have a lot of space. My only concern is striker - we need a clinical finisher on top of their game at City. That's the only issue I currently see about us not progressing...
