Yeah - watching players ghost past him as he's just come on definitely doesn't contribute to the other teams attacking chances.... Plus I admire how he runs his heart out for the last 10 minutes... Oh wait...

It's not what he sees in her, it's what he leaves in her

The amount of profit is almost irrelevant- the fact that we have turned around a loss making club into one breaking even is a testament to our advancement We have a tiny stadium and are losing out on £30 million year in match day revenue City - are REALLY struggling- when they shouldn't ! I'm impressed by our shrewd financial dealings - long may it continue - and if we do have to move to Twickenham then so be it for a few seasons. If we could get a 65k+ stadium - we would be in a great position. Think Bayern Munich - since the Allianz - their revenues have been extraordinary in the Bundesliga- even with the cheaper ticket prices. Stadium = sustainability

That's only them buying players

Barely won = won That's the difference this year I agree with your cautious approach - I don't think it will be easy, but WE will get chances and need to be clinical and professional- if we do that we win, it is that simple. Trouble is things that look simple often aren't - but that's where managers earn big bucks Jose will know what to expect and so will every player - as long as they follow the game plan- we should win

I'm not sure where this requirement for him to score goals comes from? He's a creative player - I judge him on how he creates chances for others Yes I have been harsh on him in the past but this season he has stepped up mentally! Gone are the days of disinterest (which wound me up) - I like his career progression, now he has a handle on the 'mental toughness / winning desire' he will keep progressing. I think he'll end scoring more and more consistently as he matures - experience will give him the composure to know when to pass and when to shoot - at the minute it's still a little sporadic - but the best thing about that is that HE is getting into those positions. A look at both OSCAR and HAZARD under Mourinho will tell you what has been achieved in just one season! Give it another 2-3 seasons with MOURINHO mentoring these lads and we will have a very special team. My biggest complaint for years is that we have lost the winning mentality - it's being forged right here, right now - some players are stepping up, some aren't - that's life, but Eden and OSCAR are definitely stepping up! I think we all need to be realistic that this (scarily) isn't yet the finished article and could currently be around 75% complete - If he pushes on and keeps developing he could be unplayable in a few seasons. Costa is the goal man - let him take that pressure for now, let Eden focus on developing and continuing the good work so far... And next time you think about bashing him - ask yourself the question I asked myself... "would you rather have him on your team, or be facing him?" That should answer all further questions on the topic

Dude - a guy with 10k posts isn't retarded - cool your shit down - Madmax is a good guy! He was simply pointing out where others have said Eden wouldn't get a start at RM.
-
Newcastle played ok and won 2-0 We can beat these guys - just need to be professional and clinical
-
Exactly, but of course the urban myth that he starts well and fades is a much more popular opinion than the truth... This guy has been exactly what was missing for so many years.
-
Hmm the love fest for Sanchez is a bit premature IMHO He's looked either shit or excellent - so let's see what he's like at the end of the season. I remember Carzola looking amazing and then tailing off - to the point I wouldn't pick him over Mikel! I think the jury is still out - and as teams understand his playing style - he will be neutralised more and more. I still think Willian has the better work rate
-
Great post - summed it up exactly The increase in TV monies and FFP are closing the divide... The bottom 5 teams now are definitely better than the 04 bottom 5... It's like International football. You used to be able to spank countries 5-0 all the time - those days are gone for 75% of International Teams...

Took Oscar off brought on 'The Loser of Games' I'm sorry to say as soon as I saw that - I turned off the TV after the first Utd player walked past him! I nearly smashed up my remote! Mikel is fucking useless - he's fresh on the pitch - cannot fucking pass, cannot tackle and shows FUCK ALL MOTIVATION to close people down! AKE would have been the better option! Mourinho you are to blame for this, I seriously question what you see in this waste of space player! Please god let him be gone in January (Mikel not Mourinho) Still fucking annoyed and the fact my Facebook has lit up with cunt Utd fans celebrating like its a World Cup ain't helping. Mikel is just such a fucking cancer in this club - we should have let Utd have him! I'm not as bothered about the Ref - I expected the 12th man! It's Utd after all - cheating their way to success. I also thought Hazard was shit today - absolute garbage - he bottled it massively
-
Safest place for him to be - he ain't leaving anytime soon Clever man, become high profile Football Club owner overseas - earns success - everything the new Russia wants - like I said clever man, not like the others who made a lot of money post USSR collapse and are now dead, in prison or skint
-
Yeah he's related to Costa
-
Stupid question I know - but is there a rule actually stating that away fans 'must' be allowed into the stadium? I know it's always happened - but is there an actual rule?
-
He will get his chance! It's still early in the season FFS! We need to establish a platform from which we can move forwards, that's close to happening. He's a squad player and a squad = Team - everybody will be important. Just relax people...
-
If only the Utd that turned up tonight, will be the ones facing us on Sunday... I just don't see it being an easy game (as much as I want to) They will be really up for it! All over the pitch we have the matching, or beating of their players - but football is never like that in real life... I'd settle for a draw. I know, you'll slate me for being a pussy - but never underestimate the opposition - is what I have learned over the years, Utd have a good game in them and you can bet your bottom dollar it will be against us! City will then go and spank them 5-0 or something...

Ahh the abstract principle of 'quality' Those leagues are also a lot slower than the EPL - you get time on the ball - and there lies the problem with players in those leagues coming to the EPL, some make the transition, others don't do so well I guess it's down to what you prefer to watch - I love the pace and aggression of the EPL - versus La Liga - Bundesliga sits between those two IMHO - but is 100% a one horse race with Bayern! As for the EPL - not sure how many years you have been watching it? But don't let the table deceive you - we had a similar position a few years back and finished outside the Top4 - but as we won the CL still qualified. Arsenal bottled a lead last year. The EPL is still unpredictable - it won't be plain sailing - anybody who believes that is on a hiding to nothing

Maybe in an alternate universe - next to the universe where Monkeys are composing Shakespeare

Except at the 'All you can eat' Buffett

Oscar MOTM for me - he looks like a player BACK IN FORM!!! And we won without Costa - always nice will build more confidence in the team! Cues goal was ridiculous - just awesome, sure Hazard was quiet by his standards - but that was great football! Another bogey team put to bed and Gobshite Warnock all over it - Delaney was a prick all game and he cost Palace not the Ref! Oh well Palace are pikey cunts anyway - got what they deserved
-
Evening Standard reporting we are in pole position to offer a contract in Jan £150k week no xterm fee - good business, ship out Mikel - even better business

Word of Caution for Chelsea: The Race Has Just Begun
Muzchap replied to CHOULO19's topic in Chelsea Articles
Hmm if Loserpool had defended against us and got a point, they'd have won the league Caution has it's place and should never be underestimated. What's the old airforce saying... "There are bold pilots There are old pilots But there are no old, bold pilots" That sums it up nicely -
