  1. Never expect anything from pressers in relation to signings, players being sold etc. They are a standardised media event, and not a All Cards On The Table situation. I didn't expect José dancing on the tables, ripping every old foe a new one (except Iniesta - classic Mou!), giving away all the transfer actions and what not. Just good to see him back at the Bridge and holding up the shirt. Looking soooo forward to the pre season even, this time
  2. selling settled players and start from scratch ? surely not. it is all paper talk, literally be forgotten once the season gets underway. i know though how unsetteling all this talk is, even though every one sees how much it makes no sense.
  3. So we have to go through this all again then have we. The song remains the same: Is he really that good, weill he be the solution to our problems ?
  4. What is it with you and deciding who is a proper Chelsea fan ? Did I say I favour Luiz over Mou ? I certainly don't, because they don't compare. I would just be sad to see Luiz go.
  5. Hands off David Luiz! Mou couldn´t be possibly in for a worse start in his second Chelsea tenure, selling a fans favourite as is his first act. It would break my footballing heart to see him go, regardless where.
  6. Who would actually be considered a successful Real Madrid manager ?
  7. It´s in Prague this year right ? Might think of going then if I can get a ticket.
  8. what a player. on first glimpse made me think of beckham.
  9. Outside chance that Lewis will join us, because Dortmund wouldn´t want to sell to Bayern anymore ?
  10. Falcaos agents definitly picked a better place than Hulks and Witsels, thats for sure.
  11. With Falcaos very strange third party ownership/interest groups I am afraid he has not so much to say at all.
  12. I couldn´t stomach seeing Luiz being sold. Hopefully this turns out to be rubbish.
  13. He will have no future at Real whatsoever. He is probably seen ( i haven´t spoken to too many Real supporters) as a sort of Mourinho Spy who was runining the season of their beloved Iker. Twisted as football fans are. I quite like to see him here to be a back up for Cech until Courtois is anywhere near to come back (which to me means that Cech would come to the end of his carreer with us before). He is experienced, played CL football - so why not.
  14. This better all works out as we think it will. I couldn´t stomach Mou going somewhere else. I am getting slightly and slowly paranoid.
  15. Mourinho to poke Neuer in the eyes before it goes to pens.
  16. Whish him well to be honest. I think he was acting very humble and dignified over the course of the season, given that he has taken over after Robbie and the Champions League win. As much as it pains me to say, Roman got it right with Robbie, he wouldn´t have had the tactical nous to get us through the season. Probably shouldn´t have gotten the job in the first place, but tried his best. I am glad the season is over and that there will be a fresh start (yet again). long summer ahead of us with a wild managerial go round in Europe to be expected not even speaking about the transfers. I think what Rafa has done is quite an achievement. He showed up where our team is lacking and tried to balance it out with what was availabe. Turning David Luiz into a DM in a few games, demoting JT and Lamps (to be honest, it had to come and would always have felt brutal).
  17. Well done Rafa, got the job done, won a trophy despite of all the stick he got. Did very well managing the squad in these crazy seasons, had his flaws and his "moments" but overall, nothing but respect for the man.
  18. A true professional. Amazing to think how many years he has been here, in the background, watching all these players come in and also taking over his place. His work for the club will never been forgotten, always stepped up when needed, probably making life much easier for all the brazilians and the portugeezers who came in over the last seasons. Brings a tear to my eye that he´ll be gone. Hopefully he stays with the Chels´. Him, Terry and Carvalho brought the consistency we needed in the back four...oh dear...how hard will it be to see all the boys (the old guard) gone at some point...
  19. I think with the boy Wayne and Fergie it was a bit of a downward spiral: Wayne has had absoloutly rotten patches regulary in his game over the last few years, leading to Fergie doubting, and rightly so, that is would be a good idea to build the squad around Wayne, leading to buying Berba and RvP. Wayne in his little boys attitude towards criticism reacts like he did, moaning, stamping, want to go awy, holding the club ransom, Fergie eventually losing it with him and dropping him in big games etc. I still rate Rooney, to be honest. On the other hand I can´t see him fitting in at Chelsea at the moment if he is not made a sort of support striker for Torres or someone else, but I also can´t see him leaving United for us, he just doesn´t fit in the club. If Mou wants him, there must be a reason, but so far it is all smoke and mirrors really. I think people are harsh on him; he is still a very good footballer, if well man-managed. I think Fergie lost it with him but couldn´t afford to not play him because him and RvP did well over the season.
  20. Watch Bayern breeze through the CL Final next weekend. Can´t see them losing this now.
  21. We would be nuts to let him go. My brother says that he kept Werder almost single handedly in the Bundesliga. We should not/must not/cannot use him as a weight in a transfer for anyone. Rather let him stay at Werder or send him to Malaga on loan, but it would be so darn stupid to let him leave now.
