Wish I was that optimistic. We have no world class senior players for those kids to learn from, I think that aspect is undervalued when it comes to development. If you constantly underperform in games you should be winning your confidence will drop, you won't enjoy playing anymore and you will be stuck in a rut, you lose belief in the project and so on.. no progress comes from that. We need to start winning soon or we're gonna have a bunch of wantaway players again by the end of the season.

What a frustrating game to watch
We had all the ball-possesion in the world but still couldn't convert any of those chances
The problem is not Pochettino I actually feel sorry for him
The new owners is the main problem
- Buying young players non-stop like we were ajax
- spending that huge sum of money on caicedo, when we could have use that money more carefully
- We look so thin upfront and the bench dont even get me started I dont know whether to cry or laugh.
- Boy do I miss roman abrahamhovic like a baby misses he's mama's titty American owners are the worst !!! They always believe they the smartest people in the room
- fired the whole medical team, now we are left with injuries from left to right
- there's so many mistakes that they've made like really where do we go from here its only september feels like i'm watching Titanic sinking ship boyy are we drowning fast

Honestly, I don't think people realise just how fucked we are. These owners are destroying this club by the day.
I don't give a fuck how much they have spent... I want these clowns gone.

I'm all for getting rid of Pottertino.
Should never have sacked Tommy.

good riddance. But expect him to be so useless for Gala too, they will send him straight back to us.

I mean back in the day Essien, Kalou, Drogba would all go AFCON and we were still solid as a squad...
Jackson & Kudus going to AFCON wouldn't have been a deal breaker as the other African players have been sold (Mendy, Koulibaly, hopefully Ziyech).

I mean, from Olises point of view, it might actually be a smart move. There is a big risk going to a big club after having such a heavy injury not being able to play till october. He might risk his career. So for him, staying at Palace and trying to recover from that injury and get going again is actually not so stupid.

Caciedo is a big gamble. As we know already, all Brighton players look good there because of the system they play. Cucurella and Bissouma were giants there but havent actually set Chels and Spurs alight. Porter was great there but couldnt handle coaching Chelsea. It will be interesting to see how Caciedo fairs in a new bigger club with all the pressure on top of it.

And how come we heard nothing from Southampton about our 48m and 55m bids? Why would we offer 55m if 48m was not rejected in the first place? Also I don't believe we offered 100m for Caicedo 2 night ago. Both Chelsea and Liverpool are giving to the media what they want other side and public to think.

Kepa is the goalkeeper of Spain as well as Chelsea.
Apart the horrible seasonn 2019-20 I think he was a good keeper for the blues.
People don't like him because before him we had Cech and it's difficult to step into the shoes of a giant but they are wrong.
I never heard of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid going after has been players.

This is exactly where my head is. If this does go through, we'll have other clubs try to play us like a fiddle when we come calling.

I wonder whether there is some hard, upper limit or the board is getting just as carried away as fans and we will end up paying like 120+ million for a player we considered not worth 80.
Potential yeah sure, but likes of Werner were also looking very good. Meanwhile astronomical pricetags rarely help young players to step up their game tbh.

Caicedo has been following us on IG for months now. That’s not new.

the dumbasses in our board are now flexing and came out of this like winners, but in reality this is so bad and ultimately unnecessary to come down to this.

Getting rid of all the high earners is unwise especially when they have won trophies for the club. Is Chelsea now becoming the new Leeds?

He didn't play a single minute since we considered not worth 80 million, yet drag this two more weeks and he will be absolutely worth more, than Mbappe himself, hype is real 😂

C'mon. Cheap, obviously limited, bought when Kepa was absolutely horrendous, saved our ass on many levels, went beast mode beyond any expectations, not good when no one was good, finally essentially pushed off the stairs by club and Potter for whatever reason. The sole difference to entire team he made after arrival makes him one of better buys in my eyes.
And Zakaria, well, another Saul story was to be expected but actually did decent, when played, that wasn't often.

Call me sentimental but I don’t think Timo was a shit buy, just not the big time goal scorer we thought we were getting. We fell off the day he left.

I was reading monaco forum and they praise him a lot. its a nice thing but I was smilling reading some comment says that Chelsea is a middle club, like what I read in brighton forum
if some of you want to take a look

well, in this way, we only need a goakeeper, midfielder and a attacking player and that's it. I think is more than enough
and this is probably the end of chalobah in our club. im feel sad for him, tbh

Will feel pretty bad for Trev if this signing means the end of him. He’s not an every match starter for a club like Chelsea but he is great squad cover. Genuinely loves the club, too. But in a back 4 we can’t have this many right sided CB options (4 when you include Fofana when he eventually comes back).

While I don’t really rate ANY of the moves United have made thus far you have to hand it to them for at least going out and getting all of Ten Hag’s #1 choice targets. First choice keeper, first choice midfielder, and first choice striker (they were never getting Kane). Now they’re instantly moving on to Amrabat.
Meanwhile, we’ve made a grand total of 1 senior signing intended for the first XI this summer in Nico Jackson. Nkunku was signed in January. We finished 12th, the next season starts in about 2 weeks, and we have no midfield right now.

When we bought Strasbourg I figured the plan was to uncover inexpensive gems and develop them there with an eye to turn those inexpensive gems into Chelsea players, thus saving us money. I did NOT expect us to spend £20m+ sums for loan players. That’s the kind of money that small PL teams spend for their marquee signings!
