Not that I have something against Stones signing, its not my money and could turn into next Terry if miracle happens, but the board wasnt ready to pay 50 for Sterling, yet they want 30 on Stones. And Sterling is attacker, more proven and better player now than Stones. Worse is that same people who ridiculed City and Sterling for that fee are now for Stones signing even if it costs 40m in the end. Thats just funny and sad at same time. If we are ready to throw 30/40m for Stones ok, but why are we not prepared to do so for Vidal or whoever similar is beyond me.

If we are going to pay 30m+ on Stones and get rid of Zouma, fuck off. Right there is a player of world class ability for his position, good price, available, tailor made for Mourinho. Why the hell arent we interested in him? Dont say we dont need him because he would massively improve our midfield and add shitload of energy to it. If Ramires was more allround player with better technique, he would be nailed on starter for us probably ahead of Cesc or Matic. Vidal is that improved version of Ramires. We could also throw Rambo for Vidal or just sell Ramires elsewhere that would generate around 20m. Add 20m and you get top player in Vidal. Shame realy. I understand Mou is put off by big prices for Pogba, Sterling, etc, but getting Vidal should be no brainer for us. There is plenty of room to improve, just because we are champions, doesnt mean we should just rest. Real, Bayern, Barca are improving their teams and they are already better than us.

If Tibo becomes best GK in world, it wont matter what the number on back is as long its Courtois name on kit. In the end if Tibo has preference for #13 and feels more confident, I wouldnt stick him #1 just because its more trendable. First and foremost his form is all that matters and if he does his job, no one will care what number he has. Whatever floats his boat...

If Mou gives RLC same amount of playtime or even 2/3rds of it like he did to Zouma, I will call it a success. To have finaly one youth product, english on top to break through with good year like Zouma had last year would be amazing. Dont think any other youth has serious chances, maybe couple will get last 5min intro to PL but thats that. Ake will go on loan probably or used like last season, while I dont consider Traore youth player, however he has decent chance too, unless we bring more AMs.

Chances of Sterling succeeding here are same as Reus, Griezmann or whoever else. You cant know until those guys play here. Yet some people ''know'' Reus would be huge hit and even 80m for him would be bargain, while Sterling will never make it. Reus or Griezmann could easily have trouble because of weaker body physique, not playing in their favourite position and fact that Mou would slap them role of secondary RB here. We will see how Sterling will develop. He will almost certainly become very good, and if he does very good for them for next 10 years, that was good investment. One could say better investment than Willian for 30m, Schurrle for 20, Cuadrado for 30, Moses, Salah each 10m. One could be laughing at us for spending 100m on those players and yet havent solved the problem.
