Meh, Sport usualy posts alot of rubbish daily, I wont be surprised if we were never even interested in Pedro in first place.
-
I dont think either Manchester will be a real threat next season, they will be alot closer than last season, but still, we should win it. However in two years time, we could see them both leapfrog us if we wont make some serious transfers, like Reus, Bale, Vidal, or whoever similar. We won last year PL with ease, but that doesnt mean we have world class squad. Everyone knows rest of PL was shit, City bottling in second half, United in transition, Pool lost Suarez and Arsenal is Arsenal (but even they are getting better). All these teams are strenghtening alot now (Im sure they will buy a couple of more players) and we will have proper competition in two years, in that time our squad will be truly put on test. We bottled it in CL big time tbh, that should be our indicator how good our team is and how much more we need to improve, not PL where teams were pure shit last season.

Some dude on twitter called ''barcastuff' quoted Pedro saying he didnt talk to Mou, he likes barca, wants to go on pre season with them etc, but doesnt know what will happen in future... True or not, it makes sense, if he said now he talked to Mou and wants to move, but eventualy stays in barca would look like idiot.

If Pedro scores around 10+ goals in PL while spending half time doing Iva's work, I'll be more than happy.
-
Di Maria is set for PSG though...
-
Fair enough
-
Yup you are absolute right. But its still easier to score for barca in la liga then chelsea in PL IMO Oh and as I know Mourinho, he will probably play Pedro as second RB too
-
In today market, he is worth at least 25m.
-
If he wants to play for the club, he will accept less. Its not his agents that actualy signs the deal. If he is all for the money, then he can go wherever he wants... And with 100k you would not offend him nor he can say its too little unless he is greedy and is joining you for money first, club second.
-
While Pedro is a goalscorer, dont take the number of his goals for granted. Even Cesc had 15, 14 and 13 goals for Barca in three seasons.
-
49m is somewhat reasonable like Fulham Broadway already explained, but he will be on 200k/week? Man, I might pay 50m for him, but I would never give him anything more than 100k. And even that is a stretch.

Ban(s) incoming

Not sure why are people laughing tbh. Yes its a ridiculous price BUT market today is ridiculous itself and regardless what people say Sterling is still one of best young talents in the world. If he turns into top player for them for next 10 years, 50m will be a bargain. If he delivers ofcourse, he could flop aswell, but we shouldnt be laughing until then. Money spend by city means shit for any of us, or even for them, its not like they spent all of it on Sterling, they can throw another sum for Pogba or Kevin. What is important for us is that our main rival got brilliant player and potentialy best english player for next decade, while we sit here, enjoying with Pedro rumours. Funny aint it?
-
Sure we will negotiate, but all I was saying that if we actualy go with clause they cant do anything. It would cost quite alot. Imo even 30m is too much for him, unless he does a Alexis, which I doubt.
-
I think he is overrrated. Had great season, looks like a badass, but that doesnt make you 30m+ CB. Dont forget Rami thing, he was awesome one season at Valencia but absolute shit season later and got sold to Milan where he continued to be shit.
-
Yeah he is right footed and has slightly better finish, but he realy is very good with both. He played on right all the time for barca and spain, so I dont think he would struggle here. Its true that Villa-Messi-Pedro changed positions ALOT and Pedro actualy went on left side many times, but that wouldnt be problem here. Because Hazard, Willian and Oscar can all shift positions very well. Pedro would be nice adition to squad, but we will see if he can actualy improve us big time.
-
If he has the release clause paid and pedro wants to move, barca cant stop it, regardless of how thin they are...
-
Just waiting for that "No matter what you hear or see Pedro will not come to Chelsea"
-
Sport is shit. Dont believe them. Don balon I dont know...
-
As for club's objective, I think major trophy (PL or CL) is expected, while Mourinho's objective will probably be to win both. My 'realistic' opinion is we will win PL, one cup and hopefuly reach semis of CL. Dont think we have real chance to win it yet, but who knows. I also hope we do our homework regarding youngsters and develop them (Zouma, RLC, Traore, Ake,...)
-
In my opinion he would be decent option. He is mould of Schurrle (finishing, positioning) and Salah (good skill and speed), I guess he would add bit some firepower in the team. Great for rotation, depending what we need etc. But current Pedro is somewhere on par with Willian, so he wouldnt realy improve us. To add someone like Pedro for 15m to our team would be nice, but I see him take Cuadrado's place, not Willian's. Anyway Barca needs him till january at least, not a chance he will move I think.
-
Hello! I think Remy is very good striker and hopefuly he stays here. But there were quite strong rumours that he will go to Turkey. I will be very dissapointed if that happens, and most of forum, we rate him quite high here. But if you get him, you will get very good player. If you know Ba who did very well in turkey (played for Besiktas last season), I can tell Remy is even better
-
Pedro will be 28 and he is realy good when he has plenty of open space, something that is not difficult in spain and barca with their quick game. Not sure he would solve anything when opponents park bus against us. But for 15m or so, he would be good adition indeed.

Wait a sec...Turan agent said we were never interested in Arda. Im sure this Pedro story is bullshit aswell.
