  1. We should also buy Messi when he was 10 because everyone knew how thing will revolve, right?
  2. Perez wont stick there much longer if his experiment with Benitez fails. If FSW wont win either la liga or CL (and they wont if they dont bring good DM), he will pack bags together with Perez. I dont think RM board and fans will handle the shit Perez is giving for much longer.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ii9INkp-nMw Here we go...
  4. And Terry should get 2 or 3 or 4 or sth 15 years ago, but he made history with #26 which will associate with Terry forever and Im actualy happy. Number makes no player a legendary, but players make numbers legendary. Tibo will stick to his choice and make history in it hopefuly.
  5. Dont worry, Benitez will make sure they both fly out of club by the next july
  6. Many fit the bill, but no one is rich enough to pay it. Costa is fighter to end, but crazy, Iva is warrior too, but is crazy and getting old, Matic midfield king, but is more quiet type of player, Cahill is english and decent, but not as reliable, Cesc is our playmaker, but is missing in big games, Hazard is our best player, but not yet mature enough, Zouma has potential, but too young. Azpi would suit too, but might not have as big role in team yet. We had plenty of true captain material in Didi, Ballack, Cech, Lamps but those are gone. Not sure there is anyone in current team that would tick every field for captain material, but if Iva stays in first 11, I would go with him for the time being. He is crazy, but Terry had some crazy moments too (like the kick in Alexis in semis for no reason), Iva is also one of our biggest warriors and has given us win many many times, true leader. Mou trusts him aswell too. Captain of serbia, so has some experience there too. And he is a proper beast, no one would dare to argue with our captn. We might buy new player that will suit captain role, but Terry will retire in one-two-max three seasons and I wish our captain was here for a longer time. Knowing the club, respect it and play for it because he understands it in every aspect. One player I hope we dont give captain band is Cesc. Here for short time, ex-arsenal player and as whole not a personality I would give band to. Mentaly not strong enough to be true leader that is seen where he dissapears in big games and does fuck all. Wil be grateful for him as our playmaker and midfield maestro, but captain should be someone with connections to the club, not just quality player. Maybe I will change my mind in couple years, but as of now, I dont want him as captain at all.
  7. All said, Pedro is quite good player, personaly I never liked him because he looks and acts like proper cunt on the pitch, diving, complaining, etc etc. but to be fair, he is good player. Was underrated under Pep indeed. But he is also one of the players that is tailor made for their play and the teammates he had. Iniesta, Messi, Xavi, Villa made him that great. The way those were passing to each other, making brilliant runs and putting each other in goalscoring situations with through balls was perfect for Pedro. Something Eden sure can do here, but Willian/Oscar is different type of player. Our players positioning, movement, runs in open space, through balls etc are generaly very very poor. We had some moments, but putting whole season together, Willian and Oscar looked clueless many times, they cant position themselves well, we dont make enough through balls. And that is the system Pedro truly excells in. Take the new spain in equation, he isnt as good with Costa, Koke, Cesc,...as he was with Xavi, Villa. But he can score, he is decently fast, hard worker and probably eager to prove himself. Like I said, PL could be piece of cake if we get Hazard, Costa and Pedro all scoring on regular basis. But CL is another beast.
  8. TBH Fellaini did more for Belgium than Hazard so far. Underrated player IMO. Im sure I will get alot of stick now
  9. Obviously some small players can jump quite high and/or have different tecnhique to get that air ball. I admit I havent seen Aranguiz but I checked his stats (something I rarely do with players, but Aranguiz is someone I only saw in few Copa games and WC last year, but I dont remember him much) and he has realy poor aerial duels stats on both squawka and whoscored. While its not something truly important, if he can battle for the balls in different ways, but our team aside from defence has only Matic who is capable to beat opponents in most air duels. Hazard, Cesc, Oscar, Willian just cant do it for obvious reasons, while even Costa is one of the players with worst jump I ever saw, considering his height and strength. And the only reason Im putting this is because in Mou system, the way we play in big games, parking the bus or however you call it, you need physical dominance in midfield to protect the defence or the opponent will break through sooner than later. From what I seen Aranguiz is Ramires replacement with better technique based on his copa games. How will he fare in Premier league if we sign is another thing. Unless he is some extraordinary player with top mentality and phyisique, he will likely struggle in PL. Moving for first time in life at age 26...I dunno.
  10. In the next 48 hours...In the next 48 hours...In the next 48 hours...everytime they post this its never in next 48 hours
  11. Give liverpool more money and they will buy more shit players. Seems fine to me.
  12. I have seen he is quite agressive and strong for such small size, but can he add steel to our midfield? We were overpowered last season on many occasions. But PL is whole different beast, hopefuly he will handle the likes of Schneiderlin well. Plus he is so small, he wont win a single header...
  13. Motta would cost as much as we would get Mikel for. And IF Mourinho actualy wanted Motta, Im sure he would fit in the team. Motta had poor season, but dont forget Mou could work some magic with him, after all he was one of important players under Mou at Inter. And generaly he is still better player than Mikel. The lack of challenge got up to him, he was good for PSG in CL, against us specificaly. Main thing is that he can still influence the game quite alot, unlike Mikel who is good for what he does, but doesnt give anything more than that.
  14. Thiago Motta said he WILL leave psg this summer. Not as good as he was, but he would do Mikel work just fine or even better. Heard Atletico wants him.
  15. Im not sure where is this negative energy coming tbh. I agree CL will be damn hard to win and PL from 2016/17 season will get harder and harder, but the thread says next year only. We still have the most complete team, by far best manager, squad that is playing together for some time now, several players at peak or not even there yet. Next season it will be harder indeed, but honestly I will be surprised if we dont win it again, regardless of who we sign. Maybe Im dilussional, but last year we performed very consistent through year and that is the key. Arsenal never manages to play whole year on top level (if Im correct they finished two seasons greatly but been poor either at start or in middle). Both Manchesters are in transition. United bought several players, it will take time for them to fit in (like Di Maria or Falcao last year). But Schneiderlin could indeed be very good for them IMO. City on other hand has always strong second season. But their main guy Yaya is getting old. Infact whole team is. Kompany was shadow of himself and if they fix all that, they will be dangerous, but I doubt Pellegrini can achieve that. Meanwhile, Hazard, Tibo, Zouma, Azpi, Willian, Oscar are on the rise and Costa, Cesc are now heading into second season with us, fully ready. That said, never underestimate opponents and Mou knows it. We will bring someone or even more. Either top player or rotation options. Finaly, my wildcard is Oscar. Dont know why but I have feeling about him that he will do realy well next season.
  16. Yeah its very unlikely now. But it would make sense with Mou as he likes his players to have full pre season with him...
  17. Carrasco said he is NOT Arda replacement and plans to play on LEFT side in Atletico.
  18. Absolutely agree with you, we have almost perfect PL team (for now), but to win CL, we will need to make big signing. If we get him for fair money, great, but I dont think that is possible right now. We have improved our team so much, our ambitions have grown so big in comparison with two-three years ago. But our transfers mentality is still the same. Bayern spashed 40m on Javi - won CL Real splashed 100m on Bale - won CL Barca splashed 80m on Suarez - won CL We might get great players for decent prices, but we wont get world's best, and that is only thing that can actualy improve us now. Squad depth is another thing we need to fix, thats why you buy Pedro, Aranguiz etc. You dont buy them for starting 11 that will challenge CL. I honestly dont care if we throw huge sum for PROVEN top player that actualy improves us on the position he plays in and isnt pointless signing just for the sake of it. For example Bale despite price was a good trasfer for united, James however was just a marketing signing. And I dont think anyone is complaining because we havent signed anyone yet, but more because it looks like we wont sign anyone big this summer.
  19. Werent Marseille very close to signing him though? Maybe they know Marseille was outbid by Chelsea or sth... Still not to be trusted until some more reliable sources report it.
  20. Honestly if we get Pedro we will walk the league again. Hazard, Costa and Pedro would generate enough goals, Mou is worth 10 points alone and whole team is getting more experienced with each year spending together. And neither team can make some great team work straight away after buying xx players. Given that City has Pellegrini and United Van Gaal, it will take some time for them to get the chemistry needed. But our CL run is another story...even with Pedro, we wont be able to dominate midfield, Cesc will probably hide in key moments, Matic will be tired, no proper bench options. Same old same old. And the way we approached in games past two years (psg last year, atletico before, even psg that year, we had plenty of luck Ba scoring in final minutes), we wont make it anyway. Unless 2012 miracle repeats, which I doubt.
  21. United is getting there. Just a couple more. ---------------------Schwarzer---------------------- -Schafer--Schildenfeld--Schar---Schmelzer-- --Schweinsteiger--Schneiderlin--Schwegler-- ---------Schurrle--Schieber--Schone----------- SCH United
  22. Anyway Schneiderlin to United is now official https://twitter.com/ManUtd/status/620574682429784065/photo/1
  23. Sending message to Cech obviously
  24. Finaly! Too good to be our back up, but Im glad we have reliable second GK here once again. Welcome :blue scalf:
