  1. I dont act as if chelsea can buy only one player. Chelsea is acting as if they can only buy one player. All that crap about ffp and stadium and balanced books. Im sure we have money but Im not sure we are willing to pay. Its quite visible in market. We droped from Sterling chase, we dont even try Pogba etc For example there was one player in Vidal that we should be all over. But not even a rumour. Besides I seriously dont know if people are serious or not. We sign Stones and he will massively improve our defense, perform well in CL etc? Im not even sure Mou will pick him for those key games. Even Gimenez or Laporte who I rate higher and are more experienced would need some time to adopt here. Anyway I hope you are right about Stones. I think its too much, but we will see...
  2. For a starter, I would target CM ahead of CB. Ramires at RW is a no go either. For CB, we have Terry/Cahill and Zouma. I hardly doubt Zouma and Stones will play at same time this soon, so Zouma would do for now. Main problem is that Cesc and Matic dont give any proper cover to defense. Matic covers for Cesc and we get exposed real quick. Add a good allround midfielder (Vidal would be top, but oh well) and we establish strong midfield that will certainly cover the defense better. And if we realy realy want homegrown, we should simply go for Sterling or Clyne then. Maybe Barkley/Prowse next summer. As for any CB, there are Laporte and Gimenez who I believe would be expensive, but we could at least try for 30m. I believe if you have a good defensive system, you dont need absolutely world class CBs, but a good balanced backbone of good players. You dont need to spend 40m on CB. We won CL with fucking Mikel at CB. Im sure there are CBs that would do the job here for less than 40m. If we intend to spend 40m+ on single player, I think it would be better to do it on attacker, RW or even CM. Those make the real difference in key games and we have no game changers, so maybe we should target one first before we go all out on Stones. I mean it would make sense if our team was already complete, but its far from it. We cant afford 40m CB without solving other things, with fact that Stones wont even make imediate impact anyway. He never even played in CL after all. Not to mention, everyone is saying like Stones is guaranteed to become world class and stay here for 10 years. What if he doesnt?
  3. If thats the case, I except it to a point. But if we invest all money in Stones without solving other things, I think it would be terrible deal. Even if Stones becomes our best defender as soon as possible, that wont help us without proper CM addition. As you said, 3-4 players will be quite hard now I guess unless we will overpay or get lower quality. I realy dont know what was Mou thinking this summer, even if we didnt need first 11 upgrades (but quite many would agree CM and RW should be added), we definately needed to improve our bench and replace at least 2 of Mikel/Ramires/Cuad with better players.
  4. Unless we appoint more attacking minded manager, Isco would be pointless. Not that I would have anything against the signing, he is great to watch, but he wont solve our problems.
  5. Cant believe it. People here were saying City is stupid for signing Sterling for 49m, yet they want Stones for 40m. Hopefuly you arent that desperate are you? As far as I remember the whole forum was saying not to do panic buys, yet now after two games whole forum want panic buy in Stones for 40 fecking mio. Make up your mind He is good prospect, but not worth that money. As if he is the last available good CB out there. It would be idiotic move. We would splash 40m for Stones, yet our midfield would get overrun, our attack would be toothless. Great. Well at least, we would have another defender in Stones to defend our goal as every decent team will completely overrun us in midifield. But whatever floats your boat...
  6. Anyway as long Mou keeps playing his RW as secondary fullback, I dont think even Messi would do his job here.
  7. No offense, but some people just dont learn. I mean you watch games dont you? He was shit for Colombia, he was shit for United. And he played games, started there. Mou isnt magical man to suddenly turn him back in god mode. He doesnt have the body for the style he wants to play and he isnt confident anymore. I have faith in players. I still think Oscar can be top player. I still think Willian can improve. But some players like Mikel, Falcao,...are where they are. It doesnt take much but watch some games of these players. Anyway, ok Mou decided to bring Falcao. Ok. But dont play him ahead Remy just because he is bigger name. I hate that shit. Remy is better. He should be ahead. If Falcao can, he will have to wait for his chance and show it in short time. He wont get 90min and 90min and 90min like you two demand. And suddenly he will start a game and be back or what you try to say? He needs regular time. But he is at Chelsea. Costa is better. Remy is better. Falcao will get 10min and he will have to do it. Or he wont. His choice to come here, at club who is too big for him. Anyway what I hate is that Mou will keep playing him and keep playing him ahead of others and nothing will happen. I have done my waiting and hoping when Torres was here. I bet there are people who still think Torres will get back to his best. Finaly, Mou keep saying he is working for future. Is he? I think that is one of his biggest bullshits he said over past few years. You dont bring out of form 30 year old striker hoping to become good again ahead of young english striker in Bamford. At best, Falcao will come back and have one or two years. At best, Bamford would in this time get introduced and involved into the team and be there for 10 years. Yup, Mou is working on future no doubt Falcao as third striker was absolute bullshit from begining and its showing it. I know my opinions are direct and not always in way of forum, but I dont care how player look, how he played 5 years ago, what shit he says to get closer to fans. I see it on pitch and put opinion. I only sympathise with players with extensive history here, but even those to extent. I told my opinion on Cesc that he is shit in big games and not leading playmaker, got stick but now people start to seeing it too. I dont care if Cesc has 30 assists against QPR and Stoke, if he was captain of Arsenal, if he was pivotal in title run. I see he was shit in big games, I see he was invisible in key games of CL, I see he is nothing of a man to lead team when shit gets real. And I saw our competiton last season was far from real quality, but I dont want to take that away from players, they still had to fight and deserved to win it in the end regardless. I am strict with players, and tell the things I see even if others want to cover their eyes. Cesc is far from the playmaker you need in Mou team and if you want to win CL (unless you do what we did in 2012, with full bag of luck, balls and heavy defending). But the team has little balls, little quality in key games and im sure we spent all our luck back in 2012. Once Falcao shows it on pitch, even slightest that he is back, then I will say ok, I was wrong. But I wont wait game after game and think, maybe he will do it next time. He is 30 years old striker, with whole career behind, with week payout of 100-200k. I dont think he needs time and encouragment to do his job. When you take a risk like that, you pay him 50k, not as one of best players in the squad. Better yet, you dont buy him in first place.
  8. Typical Mourinho. Even fucking Young gets a chance ahead of Di Maria to prove himself. But Mou cant for once try something and give chance to others. Traore, Moses, last season Ake, RLC are all just figures for Mou. No wonder our bench is so poor if Mou doesnt trust anyone to prove. Mou keep playing Ramires on RW, what the hell? And ok if we played better or at least get results. But no. And he still doesnt make a change. In every damn club players make some sort of surprises and get ahead of regulars or have at least some concrete impact apart from first 11. Bellerin, Young, Ibe,...what Mou does? Player plays shit and he will still continue to play him because of ''consistency''. Fuck that. If Iva plays poor, drop him. If Willian plays poor drop him. If Cesc plays poor, drop him. If you dont have players to replace, buy them. Thats why the window is for. Stop saying we have good team and then keep playing fucking Ramires on wing...and in mid season if things wont go his way, he will blame refs, players, lack of rotation, lack of depth etc. Same old, same old. If you keep Moses, Traore, Ake etc give them the fucking chance. We dont have world class team that cant be benched. If you intend to use them for 3 games per year, then get some seniors who dont need play time, but will do their job like Belletti for example did in past.
  9. Typical Mourinho. Even fucking Young gets a chance ahead of Di Maria to prove himself. But Mou cant for once try something and give chance to others. 10. I just hope this isnt one of Mou bullshit excuses or mindgames to cover for the fuckup he made in start of the season. Terry doesnt deserve that.
  11. My bold prediction if we sign him. We will splash another 30m for winger and he wont be better than Willian. I think Pedro is decent player, good back up. But he isnt game changer, he is past his best and if we are going after another RW, better be in Reus class. Im sick and tired of us signing decent ''could be top'' winger and we fail everytime with 30m lost. Go big or go home. We have signed enough decent wingers in Willian, Salah, Schurrle, Moses, Cuadrado and list goes on. People who think Pedro will be our saviour is fooling himself. He might have same impact as Navas has for City but thats it. I would bet on us winning title with adding Pedro couple weeks ago, but the team is in big trouble right now. We need another midfielder next to Cesc and Matic or ship Cesc away because we cant control a single big game with him in middle.
  12. Tbh he did score brilliant goals vs united, stoke etc. He certainly can shot from distance but I guess Mou tells him not to. Because Hazard never even tries from distance (or very rarely). The real problem with Hazard is his finishing when 1on1. He must be one of worst offensive finishers that are world class in everything else. His finishing is absolute shit If Im honest. How many chances he wasted when he shot straight at Gk...but he is god in everything else.
  13. I watch majority of inter games, so maybe I could be in some sort of help to you. Kovacic is by far Inter biggest talent, in talent terms, he is like what Hazard is to us. But during his time at inter, he didnt improve as people hoped for. He is still very raw, inconsistend and isnt game winner for them. But he didnt have dissapointing season at all. He played well, scored goals, was influental to inter play, but wasnt as influental in finishing the actions, like key pass, goal etc. Probably what people mean by dissapointing season is that by now, they thought he will be alot better (same as we thought with Oscar), but Kova somehow didnt make such jump this season yet and thats why people might claim he had dissapointing season. But if you saw him and had normal expectations (while inter fans had huge), he would certainly impress you. He is magical with ball at his feet, he improved in defense and off the ball, but as any youngster, he is still inconsistent and sometimes fades in big games. But so does Pogba for example. Anyway, Kova is better than he was two seasons ago, except that hype went away because his progress didnt skyrocket as they thought. But that doesnt mean Kova wont get there. He is slowly progressing and at right club with good manager, he will show it. Althrough Im not inter fan, Im quite dissapointed Kova is leaving. I watch Inter games because of Handanovic and I will definately miss watching Kova. He was something else in that team when he was in form. All that said, Kova is huge huge talent. I would say Modric potential. Certainly isnt behind Pogba by much, except he isnt as decisive and doesnt score all those crackers, he is actualy very similar talent. If he fullfils potential, Real will get world class mid, but as of now, I dont know what will either Real or Kova benefit. Real has better mids in Modric and kroos and Kova wont play much which is the worst thing for him right now. 35m is from what I saw more than fair (considering Pogba is rated at 80m), but he is obviously still a talent. Realy dont know why Real wants him. I may also mention that Inter is a mess of a club and team work, if Kova went in more stable club, like Coutinho did, he would flourish and become realy good. But Real is too big step for him atm.
  14. Well for a start, I would be extremely surprised if Mou actualy played Zouma, Stones in big games in first place. But obviously he wont. What will happen is that either Zouma or Stones will sit on bench. No fucking way those two will both get time to develop here to become world class. Im sure you know Mou well yourself and I dont have to explain that to you anyway. One thing is dreaming. Other is reality. If Mou actualy turns Zouma and Stones into world class CB pairing, Im happy even if we spend next season without titles but integrating such players into team for long term plan. But it wont happen. Mou is Mou and unless Zouma/Stones wont prove it in short time, at least one of them is doomed and Mou will go for top CB eventualy. Im not sure what is with the forum to be so optimistic recent months. Falcao wont flop, Zouma and Stones will form our defense for next 10 years, Cesc is going to do his job in big game, Chelsea under Mou will actualy control the tempo in big game etc etc...people have to face the truth. We are far from top team right now. Even I who was quite optimistic that we will defend the title for sure two months ago, Im not that sure anymore. But there is a bigger problem within our squad. Our rb is playing as winger, our RW is as creative as Bosingwa, Oscar progress stalling, Costa injured, Cesc not doing it in key games, our squad depth still lies on Ramires, Mikel and Cuad, endless spendings on fixing RW without solution. A year ago, during august-october. That was the Chelsea I loved. Not so much because of results. We were winning even after the break. But during those first three months we actualy played football. For the first time in long time I saw Chelsea so well organised for longer period. Attack, defense, midfield. Everything clicked. But ever since, we couldnt make such run again. Football is as it is, unpredictable and every team has ups and downs. But for Chelsea, I havent seen one, ONE improvement since october 2014. We went downhill actualy. Playing more defensive, safe, our attack is still as dull as two years ago. Where are the movement, smart passing, team work? Our defense was good. But defenders, not exactly. We defend with 8 men, it makes our defenders much better than what they are. All in all, we play safe in big games. But I dont see that much advantage in that anymore. We dont get positive results that much as Mou did in past. City went open in recent game. And they had no problem defending. The real win on how to defend it is that you suceed doing it with normal formation, and at same time play football and attack. Not to close down with 8-10 men and play on away result, draw, hoping to score from that one chance. That is one form, but its when team is in transition. Now we have established, we spent millions and millions on players to see what? Same football we played in 2013. Mou says he will play more open, nicer football, giving chances to youth etc. But thats all bulshit. He still does same as he did years ago. If thats how you intend to play, spend 50m on Vidal. But dont buy players like Cesc or Willian who are either absolute shit in bigger games and off the ball or dont have ability to make things happen when they need to. People point our PL title way too high. We werent that great, opponents were shit. We were only realy good during first three months and then had game here and there after where we played realy well. Our CL run was true showing where we are right now. Mou went into safe mode for second time in row and failed. I wont be surprised if he goes same way this year again (not saying we have zero chances tho). I went way too far now, but hopefuly you get my point. We play like absolute shit, with Ramires on RW ffs, midfield has no legs, defense is bad, attack has no creativity and connection, yet Mou idea to improve us is to splash 50m pounds+ on Baba and Stones? Ok. Finaly I get that our financial plan now is to be more careful, but we should still be able to buy world class players if we wanted (and we should buy one this summer because we clearly need it), but Mou says publicly we cant afford Pogba? What the hell is that? We cant buy Pogba for 90m euros but we can buy Stones+Baba for 70m euros. Explain that shit, because I dont get it.
  15. With the rumours about Real signing Kovacic, maybe we are going after Isc...nope...NOPE...NOPEEEEE. Not happening. Still nope.
  16. He is saving himself for CL knockout games
  17. Haha I get you. Just get someone it cant be worse. Looking at Isco thread, usualy I would make shitload of reasons why I dont want him because he doesnt suit Mou and he is all tricks no result, but right now I dont care sign Isco Pogba Reus whoever even for 80m. We are dire in midifeld and attack. But for Stones i still wouldnt spend 30m. He isnt better than Zouma to improve our defense, while Iva will play no matter what. Bring top midfielder or winger. Our team lacks midfield power and attacking creativity yet Mou will spend shitload of money on defenders. Typical. Even with Baba, there were Amavi and Kurzawa available for half less, yet Mou spents 25m for Baba and Mou will still prefer Iva and Azpi...
  18. Did he made one thing right this summer? He brought great Gk backup but thats it. He totaly missed with Falcao. He didnt improve our quality or quantity of squad. He still didnt bring CM but insists with Ramires. Our defense is shit. We only look good because 8 players always defend. Our attacking movement is terrible. What happend to our form from last august_october, I dunno. Mou didnt solve one thing since then. Im sure we will bounce back after this shit start and pre season but I wouldnt expect us to be this bad. We havent won single game since preseason started ffs. Anyway I defended Mou despite not always agreeing and he got us many titles, but lets see how he does this year when opponents are actualy doing well.
  19. Are people finaly realizing what I was saying for million and one time? I was unfortunely right about him. Time for all Cesc lovers to face the truth. Looking nice and having shitload of assists against low table teams doesnt make you world class. He never was and never will be. Thankfuly everyone was shit last season and we benefited that with Cesc. But he isnt one to bring titles. Worrying is that its not even january and he is already shit.
  20. Where are all the people who were saying have faith in falcao and its just a loan? He is still taking a spot in team, a spot that any decent hungry to prove striker could have and be more useful for us.
  21. I hope this deal dont go through. After Zouma having amazing season last year and chance to get starting spot (deserving) ahead of Cahill/Terry, Mourinho decides to spend 30m on another kid who is no better than Zouma. Ffs Jose have some faith in our young players instead of buying all the time. Or if we are about to spend 30/40m pounds on CB at least buy top player who will actualy make difference.
  22. Yeah because 30m+ for unproven CB makes more sense... Anyway valencia would have to buy Mangala for 32m or sth at the end of next season like they had to do with Negredo. Only thing curious is that Mangala had two very good games so far so I dont see why they need to buy Otamendi atm.
  23. Been thinking that too. If I remember correctly, he got better deal to stay here around the time when barca was interested in him. Thing is, if he wanted to play at chelsea at highest level, he should stay here regardless of money he recieves. Work hard and you will get paid well. Majority of our youth players are spoiled and lazy twats (Mceachran is best example) thats why they dont succeed. Rlc is on good path to it too. Whenever a youngster gets a chance, I expect him to die on that pitch in order to impress the coach. But Rlc is just walking around like he was playing at birthday party with his younger brothers. Sure he makes decent shift here and there, but he needs to give it all in every game he gets. Friendly, cup, preseason whatever. Maybe Mou instructs them to be very tight at back but I dont think thats the case. Kenedy put a passionate, hardworking performance even if he is still raw. He shown mobility and lot of energy there. I expect that from Rlc in every game but so far he didnt show it yet. All that said, I still think Ake is by mile better footballer on technical and mental level atm, but maybe not better suited for Mou system.
  24. He already has legacy at porto chelsea and inter. Rm to extent. He is worshiped in inter and chelsea. Globaly one of best tactical managers of decade. There are not many managers like Saf to stay 20 years at one club. You dont need to do that to make legacy in football anyways. Trophies are all that matter. And chelsea and Inter fans will forever have him in their hearts anyway. If he wins CL with us and Inter becomes a force again, he will return there Imo.
