Chelsea is also looking to swoop for Messi and Ronaldo because Conte is looking to add some firepower from the bench.
-
They bought Dier and Alli. And they did that after majority of players they bought with Bale money didnt perform. If anyone Spurs are negative case. They sold their star for 5 pricey average players and only Poch brought the team back together with some smart buys and trust in players. Alli came from 3rd league, no way would Chelsea ever trust player from there and play him. Kane on other hand is result of bad Bale sale's money investment in Soldado. I would give Hazard another year, then we will see. Conte will either make him a winner or sell him.

Considering you aint too happy with Matic, Hazard etc...I believe you would be pissed at Cavani quite soon if he ever gets here. Inconsistent, misses in big games (except vs chelsea), frustrating player to watch in general.
-
In italy nt, he plays Pelle instead of Balotelli for this particular reason. Llorente never suceeded at juve, matri had one good season that he never repeated and Quagliarela wasnt all that great under Conte either.
-
The ones that dont work hard. The ones that dont fight till end of the game.

Well at least RLC is getting some minutes. At this point when we can achieve nothing anymore, I am happy that at least one youngster is getting some time to prove himself and hopefuly starts every match that is left. Meanwhile Pato, Falcao...those dudes play for their own entertainment, they dont give shit about anything. I hope we steer clear of any similar players in future.

The way I see it, we need 1.) Workers in midfield, like Nainggolan, Vidal, Kante. 2.) Top cb 3.) Goalscorer. Costa alone is not enough, we need someone who can guarantee at least 20 goals per season in all competitions. Then if someone leaves like Matic, Cesc,...we would need their replacements too. About LB; if Conte believes in Baba, he should be given a chance. No need to spend big again and then see Baba perform well at another club. Oscar, Mikel, Cuadrado, Djilobodji should be sold to generate some funds, also Pedro to release space for already mentioned goalscorer. Courtois, Begovic Top CB, Zouma, Cahill, Baba, Bane, Azpi, Terry/Christensen, Kenedy Cesc, Matic, Nainggolan, Vidal/Kante, RLC, Willian, Hazard, Traore Costa, Griezmann, backup striker Thats 21 players. We would probably need backup for Cesc too, but its highly unrealistic we will bring more than 5 new players.
-
No surprise, Costa is one of few that definately suit Conte style.
-
Either Nainggolan, Kante or Vidal or maybe even two of those would be nice.
-
Can only hope Conte will try see new Pogba in RLC instead of buying Pogba. My only concern is that RlC is not worker, but neither is Pogba so we will see.

He may be first team coach that doesnt want to deal with transfers, but he had damn good group of people who worked with him and brought proper players. That is probably the reason he wanted to bring few people in. If Chelsea wont allow that and continue with Emenalo and Granovskaia and their bullshit signings that make no sense, it wont matter who is our coach. Three windows ago, Granovskaia was appointed and all three windows were absolute disaster. Bad timing by going after targets on deadline, negotiations with wrong players that only took precious time and finaly choices of alternatives after main targets attempts failed. Then there is Emenalo. I understand Cuadrado because he was good at fiorentina back then. But Falcao? Djilobodji? Pato? Hector? If Mourinho got kicked because of bad results, someone should be kicked because of bad transfers. Simple as that. And then I wonder who is that special snowflake at club that follows that damn financial fp so well, while every other club doesnt give shit about it. I respect we try to follow rules, but look where it got us. We can appoint Conte, Guardiola and Simeone at same time but if we wont fix problems in board, we wont get anywhere. About Roman, he was here since 2003 and for first 10 years, we created brilliant team. Spent alot, but it was effective. I dont think its his fault for current situation as some think, I would say there were many board changes and clueless people replaced those who actualy understood football. Even lets say buying Fabregas who is absolute opposite of Mou player was questionable at least. Its like Guardiola would go and buy Mikel.
-
Nainggolan, Vidal, Kante,...it doesnt matter who he buys as long he buys one. Midfileld of Matic, Cesc and Mikel is too damn slow for my fifa career now that Ramires was sold.
-
Only head coach what the fuck. Get rid of Emenalo and Granovskaia so that we can start rebuilding the club.
-
Agree with u, but Hazard was good all seasons with us and lille, except for current season.
-
Starting to think he should be our priority in summer. Just looks amazing everytime I watch him.
-
If Wilshere would be good instead of injured all the time, he would be out of arsenal long time ago.
-
Giacherrini, Parolo and Zaza. What a dream transfer window would that be.
-
Yes but we all known media always translates it in all ways but correct haha
-
Apparently Sampaoli was our first choice but we ditched him for Conte after seeing Sampaoli is bad at english. If the press is correct and Sampaoli wasnt BSing.
-
If he actualy believed that, he would improve the team in summer which he did not.
-
Remember watching him back in brazil nt before we signed him, he looked like guy who does stuff and not just try and will be highly efficient player one day. His style still has potential, he can become world class ala Lampard because he has it all. He can shoot, pass, work hard etc, link play. But sadly he is so damn inconsistent. One good game out of 5 at best. IMO he will come realy good when he hits late 20s because he has shown he can be damn good player, the problem is inconsistency which should be gone when he fully develops. The main question is should we wait another 3- 4 years for him to reach that. If we sell him, you just know he will turn up amazing in another team like Juve or Bvb for example.
-
IMO Conte could bring couple top players. Vidal recently even said that anything is possible and he would follow Conte in war (reference to Conte words from few years ago). However I dont buy too much into it, I think its not as impossible. I agree we cant get Pogba,Veratti, Modric or others that are wanted by every club today. But lets say either Griezmann, Vidal, Aurier, Marquinhos would not be impossible but we would have to offer them shitload of cash too. Target players who are not 100% with their current club or have some good relationship with Conte.

As a big club we never had time to give young players a chance. It always came at cost of potential bad results. But now, we have all the time. Thats all we have. No pressure and no cost. Just from top of my head, Matic was awful in first games at benfica but he got time and soon became best player of portugal league. This shit season could be blessing in disguise to give youth a chance, something we cant do when we compete for trophies. But the board is clueless to not see that. Every damn club in world would play young players if they were in our position. Even united is doing it. But not us. We keep playing underperfoming player over and over, ignore young ones and hope something will change, while in reality everything moves downwards. I agree about that pivot would be overrun. But hey why not try 4:3:3 with Mikel, Rlc and Cesc? But I guess that would be risk too much for Guus and we might lose a game instead of drawing.
-
its funny how quickly Roman fires managers, but keeps some board members even though they are doing far worse job.

Idealy 1.) A top B2B or two if Matic leaves. Idealy Kante and Vidal/Nainggolan/Matuidi 2.) A top CB. No idea who though, I would prefer experienced over young one. 3.) Striker back up for Costa, this time someone good enough to even be a starter if we deploy two striker formation. Should we play two strikers regulary, Griezmann without doubt as first choice. 4.) LB/RB depending where will Azpi play for rest of his career. I like his defending more on left side, but from right he is better in attack (not by much tho). But I think I would keep him on left and bring RB like Aurier if available. *If Baba improves, no need then. 5.) Potentialy CM if Cesc is sold by Conte. Pjanic/Gundogan. First three points are a must, idealy three top players that will improve us instantly. 4. and 5. are optional, probably impossible this summer. But three top players, considering we will also offload some, should not be a problem for us.
