I agree few team have better bench than Mikel, Oscar, Pedro etc. But our players despite their quality, have little impact and influence and that is main reason why you put them in game at some point. Maybe its man managment at chelsea or players are simply not up to it. I mean we had Kalou who was arguably far worse player than Pedro, but he still scored several goals that were important. In fact I would have another Kalou over Pedro, Oscar, Pato, Falcao combined.

I wouldnt rate Turan based on his barca days because he plays wrong position and not regulary, but yeah his age and possible lack of fitness, not to mention price; we shouldnt get near unless he would be ~15m. Biglia is also one of underrated CMs out there, but for 30 y.o. Lazio price of 30m is plain stupid.

I actualy think they will go for someone like Pogba and sell Rakitic/Turan to finance the deal.

What do you guys think of Rakitic? IMO he is not having the best season with Barca and despite brilliant last one, he never realy suited them and replicated his sevilla form. Im almost certain he will be available in summer and for relatively small amount if barca goes for another CM. Problem is he isnt fast or dynamic midfielder (and I dislike such players) but he could be perfect to set up counter attacks. He has that mentality of a winner and usualy performs well despite those physical flaws. He is still miles more useful in bigger games than Cesc. I usualy dont want any player from barca, except for those that dont suit them from the begining like Yaya, Alexis, Rakitic, Ibra etc...because they usualy play alot better in teams that play opposite stlye than barca. If there will be no better alternatives, I think Rakitic could be one to at least observe before sticking to Cesc for another season.

It would be idiotic right now to spend 40m on average CB just because he is english. People complain about Cahill, after few games Stones situation wouldnt be much different I guess.

Completely agree but its funny both have won world cup and played super important roles there. That said I will always prefer no nonsense CB like Godin or Barzagli over Ramos, Hummels, Pique etc... Hummels is probably CB Im most dissapointed as I thought will become best CB in world but is making mistakes almost every game nowdays.

And Palmer. The lad should get decent minutes next year because he definately has physicality, skill and most importantly mentality to step up. Im keeping hope that under Conte, some talents will get spotted.

Well next season will reveal everyhing. We go back to our best and this season will look like one off, probably because Mou worked things in wrong way (too long summer, no signings etc) and eventualy players got tired. If Matic, Hazard, etc remain in team and play regulary, but still perform shit, then the problem is much worse because that would mean we have useless squad. And replacing them will take ages. We are in a season when Leicester of all teams is on title run. Wouldnt be surprised to see ~8 chelsea players suddenly not give shit about anything and ruin our club tbh. Hopefuly thats not the case tho.

Judging by Hiddink comments, Eden doesnt even think he needs to work alot more or change his approach as if he had no problem with playing at the level he is right now. And that might be the biggest problem with his poor form. The kid simply has to show more motivation and desire, hopefuly the experience will play its part and he will grow up and become more responsible.

We will see. Certainly one of better if not best performers out there, but the team is so poor, you cant even compare. He is very allround and could develop nicely, but he is not enough mobile, dynamic and quick to be CM, while his ending product doesnt make him creative/productive CAM either. Has to work on stamina etc. Put him in the right place; in 4:3:3 and his weaknesses will be replaced with his strenghts. But Im certain he should be regular player next season. Not starter, but regular performer. Conte just might work wonders with difficult training and develop RLC in proper leader in few years.

As if he will ever get to fullfill his potential here. Even if he can be a world star, we will only realise that once he will be sold. Right now, we need experienced or top players more than ever, no point in signing youth. After all, we have few good prospects from our own school if coach want to experiment.

He looks like proper Lamps replacemen. Can score, assist, move well. Such a all round player with high efficiency. But yeah we had to fuck all up.

If that was our kit I would buy one to wear it during day. Then I would buy another one because you want to be fresh at parties. Then another one to use it instead of pyjama at night. And another one in double size to wear it on my old days when I get fat and all. What a shirt, what a shirt . Too bad its just fan work.

Considering how much City is spending they are way below their expectations. It doesnt matter how much you spend but how. I would hate us to spend 200m just for the sake of it because we need to rebuild. But if the player(s) we realy need is available on market, we should pay whatever money it requires.

Real, Barca, Psg, Bayern, city, united are miles ahead in spending power. We might have the money, but we dont spend it like crazy for a while now, yet people will always put us next to psg or city, despite they fork out 100m more each year. Besides if our club is not willing to pay extra 10m on real quality, but instead raises salaries by 10% more than other clubs, all we get are overpaid average players.

They bought Dier and Alli. And they did that after majority of players they bought with Bale money didnt perform. If anyone Spurs are negative case. They sold their star for 5 pricey average players and only Poch brought the team back together with some smart buys and trust in players. Alli came from 3rd league, no way would Chelsea ever trust player from there and play him. Kane on other hand is result of bad Bale sale's money investment in Soldado. I would give Hazard another year, then we will see. Conte will either make him a winner or sell him.

Considering you aint too happy with Matic, Hazard etc...I believe you would be pissed at Cavani quite soon if he ever gets here. Inconsistent, misses in big games (except vs chelsea), frustrating player to watch in general.
