Realisticaly and idealy Koulibaly, Kante, Morata. Fullback, backup striker and another CM/winger would be required eventually, but I dont think we will sign more than 3 players. Sell Mikel, Oscar and Pedro.

Morata is not lone striker IMO. If we sell Costa, we would need a proper replacement out there, but I dont see anyone on same level in term of scoring goals, and proper mentality. Costa gives his all in games, while I have my doubts on players like Higuain or Auba, We had shitload of problems with strikers and Costa is the only one to work since Drogba. Unless Lewa, Aguero or Suarez is available, I would not trade Costa at all. Buy Morata and we have a formidable pairing for the next few years like we had with Didi and Anelka. Or with Hasselbaink and Gudjohnsen. Thinking about that, we were always realy realy good when we had two strikers on field. I think its time to try it again.

I would not take him even for free tbh. He is decent for italy team, maybe because of passion toward the country, but thats that. He is old, he would add nothing to the Chelsea realy. Just because he works hard is not reason to get him. He should first be useful in some area for us and his work rate would be bonus. But I dont see anyhow he would be usefull for us. Maybe because he speaks italian and knows Conte. But that should not be the cause to sign him lol

I would say he is very similar to Martial in many ways. And Martial is damn good player. But both need a classic striker to play next to, because they dont score enough on their own. If we are indeed interested in another striker and Costa is staying, Morata would make more sense than Lukaku.

Im telling you each summer there are players top quality available for less money. And our scouts should target them instead of overpaying for average players in thus case Rudiger.
