  1. If we buy him on deadline day...city could just cancel the transfer...or like Newcastle did with Carroll, they could ask for a much larger transfer fee.
  2. Alot of people would be against us signing Rooney....i mean, just yesterday, you were the one saying that Terry carries alot of baggage... Well...Rooney comes with baggage...and he's a United player. I hope Rooney get sold abroad, would be funny to see how he adapts to a different league... As for Dzeko, for the right price..he'd be a good signing, would definitely take the pressure off Lukaku next season.
  3. Chalobah has nothing to do with De Bruyne because they play completely different positions. Chalobah is gonna become a DM or CB at Chelsea...but he's still very raw, needs another season of football under his belt. As for De Bruyne, he's an attacking midfielder.. and his future depends on Schurrle's transfer. If we sign Schurrle..there's no space for KdB..and I doubt he'll come back to Chelsea just to sit on the bench, when he could get first team football at a club like Dortmund.
  4. To be fair..i'm sure plenty of defenders would love to play 'rough' against Farcalona. There'll all a bunch of pests, diving around in the box. I agree that this isn't the JT of 2010 or earlier...but he's still a useful homegrown player to our club. If someone like Monaco decided to offer around 20 million for Terry..then i'm sure the club would consider the bid...
  5. Sure he's got baggage...but you can't let go of natural leaders like JT. Just look at Manchester United..Rio & Giggs aren't the players they used to be...but Fergie kept them around on 1-year deals..just for that experience & leadership they bring to the club. I'd love to see him stay on at the club, become a coach under Mourinho.
  6. We don't know if the circumstances are good. If he's happy with a squad role at Chelsea..then bring him in. If not, we'll pursue other targets.
  7. Two top-class signings by City. First Navas, now they get Fernandinho for a reported 25 million.
  8. I think people want Hulk because he's more explosive and more of a direct threat due to his strength... True, he's been shit in Russia..but he's not suited to that sort of league. As for Schurrle, he's a team player..but he just doesn't get me excited...he's kinda like Bertrand..he'll be a good squad player for our club.
  9. For the right price (15 million..maximum 20 million), Hulk would be a good signing.
  10. We could always try out De Bruyne at RW...see how he goes with his freakish crossing ability..and eventually we could be moulded into more of a CM.
  11. City wanted to get rid of Adebayor for 2 years..that's why they sent him on loan to Madrid..and then on loan again to Spurs As for Dzeko...I'd be surprised if Pellegrini sells him.
  12. How is Jovetic a second rate player? He's top-class...but I don't think Chelsea needs a second-striker/AM.
  13. LOL...Realistically thinking.. we'll probably end up signing: Schurrle, Mangala, De Rossi. Man City won't sell Dzeko to Chelsea...they're not Arsenal, they don't 'strengthen' rivals.
  14. When I saw Di maria at Benfica, I thought he'd become a consistent top-class player....he had most of the tools you look for in a wide player. But then he moved to Madrid and he hasn't lived up to expectations...he kinda seems like United's Nani...has his moments of brilliance but then he also makes quite a few shocking decisions.. I reckon he'll go PSG or City if Pellegrini wants him.
  15. Bit harsh! He's a person just like the rest of us...its just his opinion is severely biased against Mourinho.
  16. Your rebuttals are pretty weak...all you can do is point out Mourinho's flaws. But for some reason, you don't want to admit that Madrid is just a club full of egos.
  17. In: A striker -- Schurrle -- Mangala-- Gonalons (won't happen but would be awesome) Out: Marin -- Kakuta -- Bruma -- De Bruyne (loan) -- Torres (if anyone actually bids for him)
  18. If you want to reward a player for doing well on a loan spell, you give him a chance to play in the first team. It's not like De Bruyne is an 18 year old who needs another 2-3 seasons on loan to get some experience under his belt. I don't see the point in loaning out KDB to the Bundesliga again..when we could clearly use someone of his ability in the midfield rotation. Looking at Lukaku, he just wants to learn...and if we end up not buying another striker...he'd probably fancy his chances of competing against Floppes & Ba for a first-team spot. As for Kalas, he isn't ready. Should be playing against stronger opposition week in week out if he wants to play for Chelsea.
  19. De Rossi would be a good signing. For the reported 15 million, we could do alot worse than bring in a top-class experienced midfielder. I'd still prefer someone like Gonalons..who has the ability to be our DM for the next decade...but De Rossi is good enough.
  20. I get your point and I agree. Schurrle would add something to our attack..he's a team player and hopefully under the guidance of Mourinho, he becomes more consistent in the coming seasons.
  21. Yes it does. Biting a player is just disgusting.
  22. Sure, John Terry has done some very questionable things in his career...but nothing compares to biting another player. We don't need more negative attention from the media...Suarez should go Spain.
  23. Digne definitely has potential...but I'd prefer Shaw because he's homegrown & he's a fan of Chelsea.
  24. Ba is a 15-goal a season striker...and Torres, well he just doesn't have the consistency to be a top striker anymore.
