The only players I see leaving Chelsea on deadline day are Ba and Chalobah (on loan to a PL club).

I think Ramires - Mikel would be an awesome CM pairing..(if Mikel plays like he does for Nigeria). Ramires - Oscar against the weaker teams would be an interesting pairing.

Great performance, should have won the game but sometimes luck just isn't on your side. Hopefully Lukaku can put that penalty behind him and focus on scoring some goals!

To be honest, I wasn't sure about the Schurrle signing. I knew he had the tools to become a top-class player but I wasn't sure as to how he'd fit in at Chelsea and my perspective was bias because when I saw Schurrle, all I thought about was Marin. Glad to be proven wrong. As some of the posters on this forum pointed out (The Skipper, Only place to be and yourself), he's just the perfect team player due to his impressive work-rate & motor. To think that last season, we had Benayoun and Marin on the bench....now we have Schurrle and De Bruyne ready to start/come off the bench!

If Torres leaves, this would be the best transfer window in a long, long time! :blue scalf: I also hope McEachran gets loaned out...he won't learn anything with the U-21 team.

True he wasn't first choice..but moving from Porto to Vitesse is a step down in my opinion. I hear all the newly promoted EPL clubs are looking for quality attacking players...and Atsu would fit that bill.

I bet we end up with either Shakhtar Donesk or Napoli in our group... As for Dortmund, if we're in the same group, it would be an awesome challenge and it would allow us to see how much we need to improve..

Hopefully he does miss out...I mean Spain don't need him unless they are playing friendlies. He needs to leave Chelsea and maybe not being part of the Spain squad will make him realise that he's an average player now...

So we sign Eto'o ...that means Ba is on his way out? Strikers for this season: Eto'o, Lukaku, Torres & Schurrle. Not a bad combination.
