He's a young, classy goalkeeper....even if he signs an extension, how long would he want to play second fiddle to Petr Cech? Cause Cech isn't exactly showing signs of ageing and he's still one of the best goalies in Europe... The question is: does Courtois want to go on loan spells for another 2 seasons or would he rather go to another top club and establish himself as a #1 GK right now! (Personally I want Courtois to be our GK for the next decade....but until he plays his first game for Chelsea, there's always that fear..he'll move on..)

Cause Lucas Piazon isn't ready...and making him sit on the bench would stop his development...same goes for Josh. Kevin should be recalled, that's a given. If we don't give him a chance, he'll leave, become a star and make us regret selling him. I'd even recall Kakuta. He's basically the same as Marin, can play multiple positions, goes missing in matches and was hyped up a bit too much.

The only options are Luiz or Ivanovic. I just think Mata is too reserved to be our Captain. He's a top player, always shows passion for the club...but sometimes the captain will need to shout, show his ruthless side... In the game against United when Rafael kicked Luiz and Oscar started showing an invisible card to Howard Webb...Ryan Giggs saw that and he just lost the plot, starting pushing the Chelsea players...then Lamps came in and calmed down everyone....if Mata was in that situation...not sure if he'd be able to take control. Possibly Chalobah in 5-10 years time...

If our new manager is Mourinho, he'll definitely make Luiz a more solid defender. I'm just glad Luiz is starting to prove his critics wrong with some solid and consistent displays. He does have the occasional brain fail...but all in all, he should be a key player for Chelsea over the next decade.

Wouldn't be the worst thing to see Courtois on loan in the PL next season. That way he'd be more ready for PL style of play...

Well..considering Malaga's small squad, Piazon was always going to get some cameo appearances. As for lower EPL teams...they'd probably give their own youngsters a chance..rather than bringing in a raw youngster like Piazon..

Hopefully we find a club that wants him on loan...Marin is kind of like Ricardo Quaresma...has the talent & skill but he's just not consistent or effective.

I'd take Modric at the right price....but to be honest, if we really want to invest into our midfield for the next decade, we should try to sign Witsel.

Hopefully some clubs that are Europa league level have been watching Torres' performances... All we need is one decent bid.

I don't know if Alonso is the right way to go....but in terms of Real Madrid midfielders, Mourinho should bring Khedira with him. Young, energetic, decent aerial ability...he'd provide another option for our CM/DM positions.

I personally don't see anyone being able to turn Real Madrid into UCL champions & the best team in the world. The lack of team chemistry is so obvious at Real Madrid...and there is no identity at Real Madrid... Mourinho's legacy at Madrid might only be 1 La Liga...but when you think about it, they did well just to achieve that.

From what i've seen in Shaw, he's a much better overall player than Bertrand. At such a young age, he seems to be handling the pace and intensity of the EPL quite well. Just imagine what Shaw could become at Bertrand's age... In the limited number of games i've seen Bertrand play, he's slightly better than Shaw on the defensive aspect. Maybe in the future, we'll see both Shaw and Bertrand fighting it out for Chelsea's LB spot.

I remember reading that Stevie Clarke was in Holland..scouting Kalas and Bony as potential transfer targets. Hopefully Clarke was impressed by Kalas, he would benefit alot from an EPL loan spell..
