  1. Pretty sure you could write a piece in this angle with the work our board is doing too.
  2. Estevao is a top tier prodigy but still a teenager is not gonna move the needle, bring consistency to this squad. We'll have to forego the next few wonderkids we want to sign and we'd need to shop in the market where we have a body of work in the Premier League to assess - Joao Pedro type signings
  3. Not to mention gettable and realistic at this point. I can't see Elliot Anderson or Morgan Rogers even considering our circus seriously anymore
  4. Arsenal losing the title race and Spurs going down will be amazing. If only we were on a half-decent trajectory
  5. The youngsters are exciting but we can't expect Quenda/Estevao to be ruthless with chances, consistent over a season. We'll have another season where we have flashes of good football but can't dominate for 90 mins or close out games.
  6. Imagine Estevao slowly blooded into a serious XI. The circus right now could even stall his development
  7. When Mata and Oscar were sold, it didn't make a big difference to our squad. Selling Enzo and Cucurella now means we will go from 6th best in the league to 10th, 11th
  8. I can see that changing. Naturally players who believed in the semblance of a "project" will want out. Enzo has been shopping himself around, Cucurella too with Barca.
  9. I wouldn't put it past BlueCo to be asking ChatGPT for transfer targets
  10. The rest of it might turn out that way but Cucurella? I think he's staying
  11. Most of the top clubs have a footballing structure that doesn't give managers full control of transfers. Even great managers who can handle the coaching and on-field aspects can be bad judges of transfers - Conte 2017 was an example, Tuchel viewed Lukaku as a good fit after Haaland and Kane. I think the structure is fine but their strategy of buying expensive young players has cost us several years when the Premier League has had the best buying power in Europe.
  12. Now that US has started a war, hopefully the UK govt bans US owners in the Premier League
  13. We need this - the board cannot get away with another summer where they weaken the squad
  14. 100% we won't keep a clean sheet - will make this super difficult
  15. Sporting 3-0 Bodo Glimt in the early kickoff btw. 3-3 and headed to extra time
