do not want Song here. He'll give stupid interviews like he loves Arsenal fans and blah blah. Rather have the extra money than Song for Luiz.
-
Maybe Chelsea are just trying to play Barcelona here and this our way of starting a bidding war.
-
This made me laugh. 26m

If the rumours are true then I can understand the move but not really happy that he is leaving. Luiz is a great guy and he put in some amazing performances but I guess a deal this big can not be avoided again. Its a deal that benefits both parties so just have to accept it and move on.

well we came very close to winning it without a well known striker and we just needed to win 2 crucial games(Norwich and Palace) but sadly could not. I understand we played a lot of football and unlike the other title contenders our attention wasn't fully on the league but still part of you has to agree that the team should have done better because we managed to come so far.

The title was in our own hands and we simply just bottled it. There is no point giving excuses, we just have to deal with it and move on. The positive side for next season is that we will have a better side than this season and so the chances of us coming close to winning a major trophy will be higher.

He cemented his place for a long time and well 100+ caps for his country just shows how good he was. Its sad that he did not get picked but the youngsters need to get some chances now. I can understand Hodgson's decision so not really angry here. Its just a shame English fans do not respect him because of his issues off the field. Ashely Cole is a LEGEND for both club and country and I thank him for his years of service at Chelsea.

well then let's sign Ronaldinho. We anyways need some competition for Oscar so it'll be the perfect move.
-
now this is what you call a title race! Rooting for Athletico because I want Real to win in Lisbon.
-
Whoever gets him now will have a refreshed and polished Eto'o. Probably should have signed him on a 2 year deal so we could have gotten something from this but oh well. Good luck old man!
-
Matic defines pivot. Incredible player!
-
yeah that would be but at this stage its just better to complete this deal smoothly so that future deals between the two clubs can happen. Priority should be getting Torres out.
-
Inter want him. We all know that so calm down and relax. He will leave this summer for sure.

Our failed pursuit of Wayne Rooney and Ozil going to Arsenal(Lukaku would have stayed as Ba was going on loan to Arsenal) has been one of the major reasons why we could not win a trophy this year. A semi final finish is what some teams dream of and we did that without a proper striker. The fact that we were in contention of the league till the last month also shows great potential. Next season will be much better because of 2-3 clinical signings. This seasons experience has truly been invaluable and will help us progress with greater confidence.

and people say we treat managers like shit. Four years as a player and managerial staff of Spurs since 2008,this guy truly does deserve more respect. "I am doing this job with a lot of uncertainty around my future," he told reporters. "If you have a supply teacher who comes into your school, sometimes they are not treated with the respect that a headmaster is." Midfielder Sandro told ESPN Brazil earlier this week that Sherwood was set to leave at the end of the season, and the coach suggested that some of his squad knew more about the situation than he did. "If I need any information, I am better off asking the players," he added. "Sandro obviously has a knowledge of what is going on. I wish I knew. "I don't know if the chairman has spoken to Sandro but obviously somebody has told him. "The players look a lot at the speculation and it begins to be more than that. I have had a lot of players come to me and say to me: 'Our agents have told us you are not going to be here next year.' It's a very difficult situation."

There are people here who actually believe that Jose wants him and hence are so for this move. Come on people lets all be honest here, this deal is not going to happen because he plays for a club which is controlled by Levy- one of the biggest cunts in football so there is no way he'll allow because he'll demand an outrageous sum. IF though he does agree to sell for a fair amount then do we really need someone like him? Granted he has premier league experience but wouldn't it be better to consider the other numerous options available. For me this guy should be a Plan D at best.

Zidane is one my favourite players but I won't get all defensive because I respect your opinion. Anyways,if you haven't seen this then check it out. Not something which happened on the pitch but I thought it was pretty cool. (if you have seen it then lol just enjoy it again)
-
He's a great player but don't really think he'll join us. His style suits Liverpool and Arsenal. I am sure we'll get someone equally good as him(that is if Jose wants another attacking player)
-
We must respect the rules of FFP. No more fines now.. it is just unfair.
-
We simply can just be after every inform player. Reus is a terrific player and has been consistently performing for Dortmund but that does not mean we should fork out 35m+ on a player who we do not need at all. Our attacking midfielders are of top quality and will perform for us next season. If Jose is planning on selling Willian or Schurrle then maybe this deal will be realistic but till then we should forget about him and just hope he stays with the German club.
-
Forget about City.Gus Poyet has done a wonderful job at Sunderland.
-
I'm a fan too but Ross needs another season of first team action and sadly he won't get that here.
-
Jose won't take the risk of giving one striker the full responsibility of leading the team because the player may not always be in form and be able to perform and hence why he'd want 2 hungry strikers. If Lukaku does well then he will play more often so I don't think game time should really be an issue this season.
