Not necessarily. They look likely to be in Pot 3 for next season's group stage draw and could very well draw the big teams from Pot 1 and 2. And not to mention, Napoli might be in Pot 4 for the draw as well. That aside, City have might gotten tough teams in the Champions League under Mancini but it's the manner of their performances against those teams that have failed to convince. With the quality players they have at his disposal, Mancini really should be doing better especially when you see how well Napoli and Dortmund, teams with players who have no experience in CL, they performed in the competition. And the fact that Ajax, despite the big name but one of the average teams around, managed to take 4 points of them this season and nothing against Madrid and Dortmund tells you about deficiencies of City under Mancini.

After bottling up 7 trophies already this season, we could do with winning this one, like really. Losing one more here could affect some of the players psychologically and mentally.

TBH, I don't think Benitez deserve much credit nor criticisms for today's result. It has more to do with the performances of the players than anything else. He fielded a strong side to get the 3 points we need but the players hardly turned up till Benteke got sent off and made necessary changes when needed (except maybe not bringing Torres on earlier for Ba). That's it really.

Worth pointing out that Moses's good performances in the Europa League so far have come against average oppositions. He will definitely need to up his game more against Benfica, if he does indeed start this game.

Spurs P36 66pts (GD +18) Remaining Matches: Chelsea - Everton(H) Arsenal - Wigan(H) and Newcastle(A) Tottenham - Stoke(A) and Sunderland(H) Top 4 us all but secured now with that massive GD over Spurs although if they don't beat Stoke tomorrow, then we will, mathematically, confirmed finish in the Top 4. Anyway, must aim for 3rd now to ensure automatic qualification to the Champions League group stage. If Arsenal fail to beat Wigan next Tuesday, then we will finish in 3rd. Otherwise, we have to beat Everton to guarantee that. Or just match Arsenal's result against Newcastle.
