  1. Can't disagree with Azpi here. It's been a problem everytime we reached the penultimate games in the cup competitions this season and we have bottled it every single time. Feels as if we're like Arsenal right now... http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-chelsea-fc/2013/04/15/chelsea-defender-admits-worry-over-big-game-bottling-82029-33176502/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
  2. Well, that one really needs to be pointed at the Benitez at his staff. It's absolutely bewildering that we don't seem to practice crosses in training and continue to produce woeful crosses in games!
  3. Eh? Both crossed the ball yesterday several times but the delivery was absolutely tragic!
  4. But not as many games we have played this season. And can't discount all the traveling to all parts of the world we did too.
  5. Mata in his weekly blogpost. http://blogs.grada360.com/juanmata/en/2013/04/15/amargo-regreso-a-wembley/
  6. Obviously I am aware of that but like I said, if Lampard isn't scoring goals, he doesn't provide anything else to the team AND he leaves the pivot exposed more than not. Even the most ardent fans would admit that about Lampard.
  7. If that is the case, then shouldn't we be saying the same thing about Cahill then? Just because he made one world class block, as good as it is, doesn't mean we can excuse him for the yet more mistakes he made in the game.
  8. Not really. Said it before, when he's not talking nonsense because of Man United, he's pretty good to listen to.
  9. If you wanna talk about his substitutions and all that, then yeah I agree that once again, he was slow to react especially when we went 2-0 down so early on in the 2nd half. And also the fact that he did not bring Lampard and/or Moses later on when we were desperately trying to get the equalizer! Lampard was dropped simply because he doesn't provide anything else apart from scoring the goals these days though though he should have been brought on when we pushing for an equalizer late on yesterday. As for Terry, well, he hasn't really been performing well since returning from injury. Has looked slow and ponderous at times and even costing us a 1-2 goals in the process that led to us not getting a win or even a draw.
  10. Yeah and we also used to bully and be physical on Arsenal in the past and it yielded successful results. Now the same thing is happening with us and Man City. We are the new Arsenal and City are us, as you said. Men vs Boys.
  11. Nope, more of a left wide player who comes/cuts/drifts inside from wide position.
  12. The celebration in the 3rd GIF is just
  13. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-frei-bows-goal-pulled-muscle-basel-stay-202313185.html Alexander Frei has retired from professional football and that means he won't be playing against us in the semi final.

  15. Here's a couple of stats: 1. Chelsea have drawn their last 4 matches against Fulham in the Premier League (5 in all competitions) - 0-0, (0-0), 1-1, 1-1 and 0-0. 2. Chelsea have not won in their last 2 trips to Craven Cottage in the Premier League. Last win there came in August 2009 when Drogba and Anelka scored in a 2-0 win. 3. Chelsea have only won 2 of their last 11 away matches in all competitions - W2 D4 L5. The wins came against Sparta Prague and Middlesbrough. 4. Here's how the London derby mini-league look like so far this season:
  16. On hindsight, it was probably a good thing we played Sunderland last week as opposed to this. They certainly looked much much better against Newcastle and especially, did not run out of steam like they last Sunday.
  17. Merged with the old thread. You can moan, bitch, slam, lambast, blast, criticize, abuse etc the referees officiating our games but avoid over-stepping the mark please.
  18. Yet another game in this blood hectic schedule. Anyway, think Duff will be out for Fulham in this one. Picked up a groin injury and was subbed off after 10 minutes in their game against Villa yesterday. AND by the time we start this game, we could fall 4 points behind Arsenal already if they beat Everton on Tuesday. So, by hook or by crook, we must win here!

  21. Did not. Not going to be affected by the bad weather..
  22. Don't think anyone can really blame Benitez for the FA Cup Semi Final defeat. If this happened like the 1st time or just 2nd, then maybe you could do so. But when you see such average/poor performances keep on happening, then you've gotta look at the players. It's not like we didn't bottled up the competitions under RDM either.
  23. Things did get better when Oscar was moved to the pivot alongside Ramires but otherwise, he wasn't effective when being played out wide or as the CAM. Never said any of those. You would have to excuse me on that part.
  24. Not necessarily have to do anything magical but a matter of who can do it most effectively if you consider what we are doing or at least should be doing. I mean, what's the point of even playing Oscar out wide when it's not even his best position and we have someone like Moses who is suited to play as a winger?! Disagree when you said we improved when Oscar moved to the middle. Did nothing of note while in there. Even ran into cul-de-sacs when trying to get past players. And since when I'm blaming Oscar alone for this defeat? Did I even say he's responsible we lost by conceding those goals? No. If you realize, I even lambast a few others in their own thread!
  25. He might not be in great form but least he will provide a greater threat by giving us width out wide and stretch the play as opposed to go all narrow with Mata, Oscar and Hazard. And besides, he has played decently recently and has scored a few goals that should have warranted him a start today. Wasn't as bad as Oscar. At least Mata was in the game, looking to create chances and feed balls into Ba etc. Oscar was hardly seen doing that at all.
