Improved in the last few games but gone back to his rubbish self today with the passive defending. Constantly backs off players, caught ball watching more often than not and of course, allowed Aguero to get behind him unmarked to score!

Which is why I can't understand the inclusion of him in the starting XI. Should have gone with Moses who will provide width and actually pose a threat there as opposed to play Oscar out wide, when at the moment, his form is poor(due to fatigue, understandable) but can't do the basics right like the passing, keeping hold of the ball etc.

Had arguably his worst game for us today. He really REALLY needs a rest. Played his 6th game in 16 days today.

I wasn't feeling confident and optimistic about this game before it started but after watching it, I can't help but to feel extremely annoyed. We showed great response after going 2-0 down but why oh why did we only really started playing after that?! Why did we not show the same aggression, intensity and tempo like we did then earlier in the game?! Both of the goals we gave away were just typical and disastrous of us. The defence was basically caught lopsided and disorganized when Toure played in that pass and the second goal is arguably even worse! The number of times we have conceded such goals and yet doesn't seem to do anything about it is just pathetic. Nobody close down Barry(IIRC) when he puts in the cross and then Ivanovic, with his passive defending again, caught ball watching and allowed Aguero in behind him to score. That was just so freaking rubbish to give away goals like that again and again and again! We have basically just threw yet another cup away so cheaply and this is pathetic. Started the season in the running for 7 trophies. Won none of the first 6 and now down to 1 only! Also, one question needed to be asked on Benitez. Why on earth did he only made 1 change in bringing on Torres? Where was Lampard and/or Moses when we desperately needed a goal in the last 15-20 minutes?! Overall, I just find this whole thing damn bloody frustrating especially when one include the incompetence of that idiot Chris Foy!!

Just the standard match of being overpowered, outplayed & outmuscled by City. Typical. Very fortunate to only be 1-0 down.

Arsenal should walkover Norwich and get the 3 points but I'm maintaining a tiny, very tiny bit of hope Norwich can get a draw at least. Also, if Suarez picks up a yellow card against Reading today, he will miss Liverpool's next 2 games including our clash next weekend at Anfield!

True but one should never trust 100% what a player/manager/owner/CEO etc say in football. They have always said one thing and then commit something else that contradict to what they said.

Don't we always play our last league game of the season in the new home kit (assuming if we can wear our blue kit)? Last season we played with this season's home kit against Blackburn in the last game though we did play with last season's home kit instead in the CL final.

TBH, he has not always performed well either when being used as the No.10. His rather average performances now has more gotta do with fatigue than anything else.
