You should probably also mention the amount of times Benitez's incompetence led us to defeats as well...oh wait! Your media source is probably as reliable as Daily Star or Daily Mail...zero reliability. In other words, rubbish sources! And Terry found guilty of racist remarks? Only in the FA and English media's eyes. Was cleared off the court 'NOT GUILTY'! Not wanting to be rude or anything but really, you're just crying like a big baby here simply because Terry didn't give support to Benitez. It's as if you were not given a candy but your sibling got one by your parents and you decided to have a big cry and throw a tantrum. And really, is it really important that Terry come out to voice his support for Benitez? Words, as we all know, can mean nothing. Would rather have players show their support on the pitch for the team, fans, club, manager etc rather than coming out to utter 'pointless' words to the media. As previously said, Terry's words on Di Canio was just a diplomatic response and nothing else. So, give it a rest FGS!

That depends on whether you're looking from the club's perspective or AVB's in regards to the transfers. AVB probably targeted Romeu, Meireles and Mata while the club's plan was to get Modric and Mata. Got Romeu, then pursued Modric with Meireles as plan B while also getting Mata in the process. The club had one idea while AVB was probably having another and likely to obliged to the club's targets. People can change can't they? Roman after all wanted us to play the tiki-taka football and perhaps he say and thought Mata would fit the bill.

Tony Pulis is like a broken record these days. He's practically talking about refereeing decisions and how Stoke have had no luck with it almost every week!
-
So, you were skeptical about that news previously and now, you assumed everything that is reported out there on Modric is true then? Club pursued Modric but AVB was probably more interested in bringing Meireles to the club. He probably just went along with the club's interest and when we couldn't get Modric, we bought Meireles immediately. Clearly he has been already mentioned to the club and targeted as a 2nd choice then.
-
If that had been reported by the Daily Star or Daily Mail, I would probably wouldn't believe it one bit. However, considering it's from the Guardian, a much more reliable source than those mentioned for example, one would like think it has some sort of truth to it. And besides, that article never said anything about AVB not being interested in Mata at all. Just mentioned that Romeu and Meireles were his main priorities. Mata is probably the 3rd priority in that list and Roman ensured that we brought him to the club by supporting AVB!

Hazard on Mata... http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/307819/Eden-Hazard-Jaun-Mata-must-be-player-of-the-year/ Should probably say Mata is the best player he has ever played with and not Gervinho.

And/Or ensure they don't score early or first.

Just to mention, Lampard wasn't even in the home kit(for this season) launch last year but was seen for the away kit's launch. AND Kalou participated in the home kit's launch then...only to leave in the summer. Also, Ballack and Joe Cole took part in the 2010/11 home kit launch 3 years ago and they left the club in the summer.
-
No chance. He's as rigid as they come in regards to the formation. One can hope he has learned from the mistakes made in the last game.
-
Obviously not. The chances of him giving up is as low as the chance of Liverpool winning the league anytime soon..
-
Classic mentality adopted at Liverpool. Never their fault, it's always someone's else. And also, funny how before beating Stoke in January, our home form was rubbish but away form was good. Since then, it has been the reverse. Home form has improved and away from home, the performance and results have gone south!

Gonna be hilarious if the kit turns out to be like the Nike's design.

Oh give me a break! Terry was just giving a diplomatic response about Di Canio and here you are crying that he did not give support for Benitez. Joke!
-
That is more of hope than expectation. And you're kinda looking at those games with a blue tinted glass. Just because we dominated United this season doesn't mean we'll get the better of them again later. As for Liverpool, while you said is true there but like you also said, they are a bit of hit and miss. They could easily click on the day we play them and our record at Anfield isn't exactly great either, especially against Liverpool in recent encounters.

QPR are rubbish. Wigan are unpredictable and given Arsenal are at home for that one, expecting them to win it. And yes, while we only play Villa, we still need to go to Anfield and Old Trafford.

Leverkusen considering Chelsea bid for Schuerrle

I know that. It's just that I'm surprised it was Roman who pushed for this particular transfer. (and yes, I am aware that he got Shevchenko and Torres!)
-
We wouldn't even be in this situation now had we now threw away those 2-0 leads against Southamptona and Reading to begin with! Anyway, needless to say we need to win tomorrow and hope Everton get a result against Spurs. Would be good to drag them down right into this mess!
-
Really? Didn't know that. Thanks.

Lukaku starts on the bench for West Brom. Why Agent Clarke? WHY?!
-
Judging by your comments there, it looks as if you are auditioning yourself for a position at the club..
-
Intentional or unintentional and regardless of how long it takes to score based on your example there, as long as it is the final pass that led to a goal as defined by Opta, then it counts as an assist. Bertrand got the assist for Hazard's goal against Sparta Prague and yes, Cole claimed the assist for Torres's goal at the Camp Nou. My point is what should be counted as an assist is the one defined by Opta. It's just that some people are being selective and add winning penalties and free kicks(which a player scores directly from) to the assist count because it looks good on the player.

One problem though. West Brom have been in a bit of a free fall lately. Safe from relegation and nothing else to fight for, including a EL spot.
